So here is my April’s fool joke in Dec. Ok. I had 8 of my good friends visiting Denver. So when they asked if anyone knew any good places to hit up. I had to roll with it. So I was if you hit up Coors Field tell them you are a friend of Fucken Fords and they let you run the steps at 5am. I said use the side entrance and try the breakfast burritos. I was ask for Rhonin. Then I went to to say stop in at Sick Boys Tattoo Shop. Ask for Spencer and Veronica to to get a couple body painting. Vicious gives the best tattoos to add to your collections. Then I was stop at St. Margets gift shop. I said they sells Catholic school girl uniforms for adults. Ok. I did add alot more. I was omg they are going to kill me. Needless to say they were disappointed. Then others commented OMG your a fans of JA Huss. I was damn straight. I said I wasn’t voted Mrs Mysterious in high school for nothing.

But the more we got to know him, the more I appreciated his huge heart and how he just took care of everyone. I first fell in love with Ronin and his playful nature. Then Badass Spencer, the artist, the deep passion he has for all of his people. But Ford, gah!! If I had to choose to be one of the girls, I think I would be Ashleigh. She’s smart as hell and tough as nails, and puts up with Ford.

Although they ended up with different people, as they should have, that relationship helped them both grow. I do love the other 4 too but Ford and Rook are true friend goals.
I discovered you after these books, but did go back and enjoy them on audio. No wonder they are still talked about 10 years later. Whew!!

Then to have Spencer Shrike take interest in me and paint me (and I mean ME) under his mom’s tree would be such an erotic experience! Spencer may have taken his time to propose for what he believed were good reasons, but I did become a little frustrated with him. However, Veronica did exactly what I would have done and showed him I was not waiting for him but going on with my life knowing he’d work through his hesitations and get on board with the program.

I’ve read these books so many times, and every time enjoy them just as much. The characters are so rich, with bits in them of people I have known over the years. I think Ford is my favorite of the men, because smart is so sexy. He is never able to hide his brilliance. And the women, probably Veronica because she is a free spirit and without so much of the tragic baggage of Rook and Ashleigh. I wish I were as free as she seems to be!

I would have to say Ford! I actually can relate to him. Zero Fucks given but also is vulnerable, like me. I hade it very well. I also have my quirks that make me who I am.

Ford is my pick! Although in the very beginning I wasn’t a fan, I thought he was just a prick until you developed the character further. Now I couldn’t imagine picking one of the others over him.
Then not to be cliché and pick the same ones as you, but Veronica would be my female pick as well. She was always a strong dominant character who knows what she wants. On top of that she wasn’t portrayed as a week fancy human or stuck up, she does tattoos and likes motorcycles. Then above and beyond that she picked a farm house style on property away from people, it honestly sounds relaxing.
