Welcome to my annual 12 DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS!

If you’re new to this – here’s how it works:

1.   Each day from December 1 through December 12 I will put up a new giveaway HERE on my website with instructions on how to enter, a detailed description of the prize, and some stuff about the book or series. Each giveaway is different and each has ONE WINNER. MY GIVEAWAYS ARE ALWAYS OPEN INTERNATIONAL

2.   Each giveaway runs UNTIL DECEMBER 13.

3.   Winners are CHOSEN and NOTIFIED on December 14. I will be notifying winners USING THE EMAIL USED TO COMMENT ON THIS BLOG – and all winners will BE LISTED AT THE TOP OF EACH GIVEAWAY POST HERE ON MY WEBSITE on December 14.

4.   Winners have 24 hours to respond, then another winner will be chosen.

5.   ALL PRIZES WILL BE MAILED ON DECEMBER 15.  If I’m waiting on a winner to respond and they miss the December 15 mail date, that prize will be mailed when I get around to it. I live in the middle of nowhere so a trip to the post office is a “thing” for me. 🙂 So make sure you’re checking for winners on the 14th.

6.   I will send newsletters announcing giveaways on December 1, December 6, December 12, and a Winner newsletter on December 14. I NEVER send this many newsletters in a month so sorry if that feels spammy.

7.   You can also FOLLOW MY BLOG. I will also make a blog post HERE announcing ALL WINNERS on the 14th. If you want to follow this blog there will be a form at the bottom of each post to do that. Then you get an email when I POST HERE. I don’t do that often – December is the exception because of the 12 Days and my yearly “Wrap-up” post.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

THAT’S IT! I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THIS!

The world is INSANE right now so I’m just trying to spread some cheer and give back to all of you who support me and enjoy the stories I create.

NOW LET’S GET ON TO THE FIRST GIVEAWAY!

IN EACH POST I WILL HIGHLIGHT A BOOK

TODAY’S BOOK HIGHLIGHT IS A COVER REVEAL FOR A BRAND NEW UPCOMING SERIES CALLED SAVAGE FALLS!

THE SAVAGE RAGE OF FALLEN GODS
Savage Falls #1
Dark Fantasy Romance
Paranormal Monster Romance
By JA Huss writing as KC Cross
Release Date:  August 8, 2023

Love can ruin the best of men—even the God of Love himself.

Love.
When mutual, it’s Heaven on Earth.
When one-sided, it can tear you apart.
There is no greater weapon than the heartsick soul.
That is the power I wield, for I am the God of Love.
No one has power like me.
No one can poison a heart and pollute a mind the way I can.
That is why the gods kicked me out.
That is why they made me fall.

But now I’m back.
I’m going to ruin kings.
I’m going to destroy gods.
I’m going to crush the whole wicked world with the power of the broken heart.

Well, that was the plan.
And then, out of nowhere, there she was.
After two-thousand years, there she was.
The one who made me love her.
The one who stole my heart and then broke it.

She is how the gods ruined me.
And now it’s my turn to ruin her.

The Savage Rage of Fallen Gods is a story of a broken heart. It is a tale of regret, and promises, and how revenge can darken a god’s soul. It is a standalone book in a brand new series by New York Times bestselling author, JA Huss, writing as KC Cross.

THIS BOOK WILL RELEASE INTO KINDLE UNLIMITED ON AUGUST 8, 2023

I’m a manager at Bath and Body Works so this is our busy season and I will be spending a lot of time at work but when I’m not at work I want to focus on spending time with family. I always do a huge Christmas dinner and have many people over.

Bitter sweet Christmas celebration for us this year, quieter certainly as some of our kids & grandies are moving interstate next week. We will be around a dozen for the day which is filled with catch up news, great home cooked mostly traditional (British/Australian) fare, a few glasses of what relaxes you, a dip in the pool if the unusual weather pattern co-operates and afternoon naps.
Quiet reflection time of Christmases past and those we have lost.

I am the oldest daughter and it seems that we always celebrate Christmas at our house which I love very much. Each year we eat something different, we usually pick a theme and go with it. All the kids get presents but we do a white elephant present for the adults worth 50 dollars so you get a decent present. 😀

In 2 weeks I am leaving for Florida to spend 3 weeks with my daughter and her family. I love the pleasure of watching sunrises and it’s my favorite way to start the day. We bake up to Christmas Eve. Where her and her hubby cook. I am on dishes. Lol. Then on Christmas we go over her hubby’s sisters house where it’s crazy and fun. I miss living in Florida permanently but I do love catching up with friends, in person. Merry Christmas to everyone. Also, Thank you Julie for a chance at one of your amazing gifts.

Then Christmas is a day we just stay home and enjoy things as a family/the kids get to play with all their new toys. The following Saturday we’ll make the drive to my mom’s so spend time with my side of the family. That means my kids have THREE days worth of gifts/gift giving. It’s a busy but wonderful week.

Every year we celebrate with extended family, and friends needing a place to go, on Christmas Eve at my in-laws. We do a version of the white elephant gift exchange and prizes for stupid things we did this year. Christmas Day is different every year. This year my sister (a nurse) is actually off and will be home. So, homemade meals and games are likely.

My December plans have already started. Besides decorating the inside and outside of the houseb(the typical Christmas theme) I’ve started to clean out my basement. It doesn’t sound like anything huge, but I’ve been married for almost 26yrs and we’ve acquired and inherited a LOT of things over those years. After all these years together, we are finally at a place in our lives that we can afford to renovate portions of our home at a time. It’s not that we’re broke, we pay our bills and help our family members when they need it, so money has always been tight. This new year brings the opportunity to do something for us. I know this is a small thing in life considering the larger issues in the world, but I can’t change the world on my own. So this year, I’m going to work on making my home, more of a space for my grandkids to play in the winter and for us to have storage. Sometimes it’s the smaller things in life that get you through the day.

    Merry Christmas

My December is super busy this year. I generally do book it with tons of stuff as it is a really tough month otherwise. This weekend is finishing decorating…I have decorations in every room of my house. I have around 100 Santa clauses and 7 trees. I change jobs on 12/8 and the next weekend is 2 plays and 2 parties and lessons and carols at church. Then I have another party the following weekend. Then my bff’s birthday is 12/23 so going to holiday in the park at six flags. Then church on Christmas eve and lots of family on Christmas day.

The only set December holiday plans I ever have are for Christmas Eve. My family has always gotten together and opened gifts that evening. My parents started that tradition, and even though they’re gone now, we continue it. My adult son knows that no matter where he is or what he’s doing in life, Christmas Eve is mine. It’s the same promise I made to my mom, and I never once let her down. I don’t suspect he’ll let me down either, mainly because he’s the best son in the world! And yes, I am completely biased. ❤️

Next week I’ll have a Christmas treats baking day with my momma, followed by Friendsgiving at my home, and on Christmas Eve, I’ll make a non traditional feast for my little family of 6, followed by games of Mexican train and Wizard where we all try to annihilate each other, lol! Christmas Day is pretty quiet for us… and so is New Year’s Eve… I’ve officially reached the age where Jammie’s and my couch sound better than going out!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! For Christmas this year we are staying as “typical traditional Christmas” as we can at the request of my 13 year old son.. Since my son is the typical moody teenage boy that he is, I jumped on the idea that he actually wanted to participate in something so cheesy as decorate for Christmas and for the first time ever I have inflatables in my yard (with another one on the way). It looks like “Christmas threw up” in my house and I could not be happier!!! We will do our traditional “let’s make a new food we’ve never eaten” on Christmas Eve, have a Christmas morning breakfast/white elephant/poker with local family (all my son’s fathers side and no, we’re not together), then spend several days with my side of the family playing ping pong, board games, and eating WAY TOO MUCH Mexican food.

We are having family over to our home. We are barbecuing the ‘non traditional’ beef tenderloin this Christmas! Of course, we will be having all the extras as well. It’s a fun day, but a very long & tiring one! Seeing family at Christmas is so special, it allows you to enjoy all those who are special in your life.

I’m starting my December with an intervention. Heading to Arkansas to rescue my bestie from an abusive relationship. She will spend the month (for now, just December) with me and my husband. We’ll create all kinds of gifts for our families, work on actual contracted jobs, check out Christmas decorations at the malls, and the night time light shows. Since money is tight for both of us, everything will be low key. But getting to spend valuable quality time together is something we’ve both needed.

I love to make the sweets. I haven’t read the Tattoo guys books. I think there are several of your newest books. Lucky for my husband and I we can work from home. So spending time the year with friends i haven’t seen in ages and my family. It will be cold, but worth it to get quality time with family. Christmas Eve a tradition with my BFF at her house, Christmas Eve Mass with Nonna, then Christmas Day with my husband, Nonna, mom, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins and many kids – usually 30 + people. I work in pediatrics and with everyone catching everything under the sun this year, it’s been draining. Our main goal is to relax but we’re still having fun. Our favorite trips aren’t to the mall but to thrift shops and bookstores, we can literally spend hours in each and have always found something special on Christmas Eve. It’ll just be the three of us so we stay in on Christmas snuggled in jammies and robes watching our favorite Christmas movies. It’s very quiet but we like it and we’re always grateful to just be together.

Only two of my sons and their families live within an hour’s drive of me and I hope to stop by their homes with gifts on Christmas Day. LOL! So I’m going to do what we have done for the last 10 years or so…have Christmas movie Sunday every Sunday (starting in November because the family keeps growing!) up until Christmas day where each person picks a Christmas movie on their Sunday and the whole family comes over, has dinner and we watch their movie ..and makes fun of it! 🙂 We started doing this when my oldest son went away to college as a way for the family to just spend some time together since we had been apart for so long…but now that they are all out of the house and living on their own with their own families they still insist on doing it! I love it! Happy Holidays everyone!

My brother and his family are coming in a week and a half or so for an early Christmas visit. Then my family, including five of my kids, my husband, two brothers, my mom and dad, will celebrate again on Christmas Day. My dad has been very I’ll with Sepsis recurrences these last six months or so. So we’re going to make the best of it. Sadly, this will be my second without my oldest son who lives almost 5,000 miles away. And our fifth without my oldest brother who died due to suicide. Like I said, we’ll make the best of it.

We haven’t been able to celebrate a Christmas over 5 years with our kids it breaks my heart every Christmas they have woken up to nothing it sucks so badly. My husband finally found a job after 3 years of searching and never getting a call back he finally got a call for seasonal work that hopefully turns into full time. He’s hopefully the kids might have a Christmas this year but I’m not. So that’s our plans working the entire month and stressing about trying to get ahead and make ends meet. We listen to Christmas music while decorating the tree and house and watch Christmas movies throughout the month, but save our favorites for Christmas day. My daughter and her husband have Christmas at their home for our family and friends who would be alone during the holidays, due to many things, like not married, no children, loss of a spouse, or parent, and of course because they love them. She’s a wonderful cook, and I bring the sweet potato casserole (from your blog 😉), and dessert which she chooses (Thanksgiving it was a Classic Cheesecake with strawberries and sauce) She usually wants Cherry Pie for Christmas, I love Pumpkin Pie with a ton of whipped cream.😋 We watch Christmas movies and those who live about an hour or more away spend the night and have a lovely brunch the next day. Merry Christmas to you and your family Julie.💜

We usually go to my in in laws on Christmas eve for dinner and presents but this year we are doing presents and dinner on Christmas day. My only other plans are figuring out dinner, every single night and cuddling with my dog Addie

I also plan to read the Monsters of Saint Mark’s series I have been waiting for the final book to release so I could dive in and read straight through. I know me and I hate not being able to finish the story (or is it?) so the other two books have been sitting in my library since they released.

This is the first year in quite a while when I have a bunch of holiday parties to go to and a couple that I am hosting. I’m kind of excited about it, but it ratchets up the stress level a little bit too. Then traveling from Florida back into the midwestern cold to see family for Christmas itself. 🥶❄️☃️🌨️ I lived in Colorado and then the Midwest for over half my life, but I’ve been in FL for over 20 years, and I’m just spoiled by the warm weather. It’s hard to deal with the cold now.😬😝

Just a great time to spend time together and enjoy each other’s company. We put on PJ’s and socks, snuggle up in the blankets and watch a movie. We also make cookies or play games. Then on Christmas we will open presents and have Christmas dinner.

I am hosting a broken family that needs a halfway place to meet, a non drama place to enjoy the holiday, a place safe from judgment of a recovering alcoholic’s first Christmas without alcohol. If all goes to plan, it will be cool, game filled, lots of laughs, and drama free. My fingers and toes are crossed for this adult son to enjoy his sober dad again. Good wishes and vibes appreciated.

December in our house is the month of non-stop birthday celebrations with a short break for Christmas! Started today with my son’s birthday, so made his favorite muffins for breakfast and his favorite layered cookie cake for tonight. Then we’ll celebrate both of our mom’s birthdays. I make photo calendars for each of them every year. Next up is our daughter’s 21st birthday, and we’re taking her to Nashville for her birthday weekend. Then we’ll travel for Christmas and come home in time to celebrate my nephew’s birthday, which is also the same day as MY birthday. I’m exhausted by New Years and just want to stay home!

So excited by the cover reveal! I can’t wait! No big plans for me this December. Just started a new job so we’ll be staying close to home. During the winter shut-down at my work I’ll be hanging out with my six year old and trying to stay sane through the holidays.

The tree is up and JA Huss 12 Days of Christmas has begun. Christmas is now definitely in the air! 🎅🎄
We spend Christmas with my parents. Christmas Eve we attend the candlelight service at our church. Afterwards we open presents. On Christmas Day we have a feast together.
Christmas is different for us now. When I was a child we’d have 35 to 40 family members attending the dinner. Now we’ve dwindled down to 5 of us. We’re all over 55 so it’s not the same as the busy, exciting time of having young ones involved. We’re just thankful we can still get together. God willing we’ll be able to get together again this Christmas.
Thank you so much for your 12 days of giveaways. It’s extremely generous and it brings excitement into our lives! God bless.

My December plans, when I can finally step away from the 50-60 hour week work grind, is to make progress on one of my two partially written novels (one a sequel to an as yet unpublished book, and I quote from the last publisher who read it, “it’s a great story, great writing, we just don’t know how to market it”; geez, really?). My Christmas plans are fairly simple. My mother and I will have a wonderful dinner and on Boxing Day we take the leftover meat off the Turkey and make freezer meals for the next three seasons. We always have an open door policy and frequently take in ‘strays’ who cannot travel to visit family. It is always ends up being fun. Thanks for the opportunity and I wish you all the best of the season.

We’re hoping to get to celebrate on Christmas Day, but if we aren’t able to, that’s okay. The nurses and patients need her more than we need to celebrate on a specific day. Happy December!

I’m going to be happy that my middle kid will be home from college for a few weeks. So we will have a nice, small family Christmas. My mom was a heroine addict and lost a lot of people because of her selfish decisions, including my kids and me. When she overdosed for the final time in September, I told my older brother I would support any decisions he made to help him and my younger brother move on, but I wasn’t participating. Suddenly, people acted like she had never made a mistake in her life and wanted to celebrate her. I didn’t. I haven’t spoken to them since they told me when her funeral service would be held and only exchange cards with her family at holidays, so I don’t know how they will be received since I preferred to not fake the last 25 years of my life. So, I’m dreading that. But I bought new twinkly lights to put up outside and a new inflatable penguin that has a jaunty look about him that I have named Oliver, so maybe that will distract me. Thanks so much for your never ending generosity (seriously, how many freebies did you give us this year?), and Happy Holidays!

Unfortunately my Dad is terminally ill so spending time with him is paramount but my daughter who lives over 1000 miles away is also sick although not terminally. This is hard, I want to be both places so I think my activity will be to stay in front of the camera for video chats with both of them. Not sure where I’ll land Christmas Day. This year Christmas will be a lot different. We are building a house and will be moving into it the first week of January. There will be packing instead of decorating this year. So besides building the house, I take care of my elderly mother full time as well as my new baby grandson. A good book is always how I relax 😌

HI! Like everyone else, lots of time with family. Our extended family decorates sugar cookies every year so I will bake for that. I have an Etsy shop so I’ve been knitting lots of gloves, bought a new “pencil” tree for my foyer so I will decorate that one with the “fancy” ornaments. Already started baking fruitcakes and cookie dough is in the freezer waiting to be baked closer to Christmas. If I take my adderall I should be able to do all these things, watch Christmas movies, and read books, too! Happy Holidays!

Very strict dress code – everyone must wear Christmas pj’s 😊 we are loud and happy, feeding the horses and chickens is always the biggest fun for the littles and their adults 🥰

My Dad passed last year unexpectedly and suddenly on what is Father’s Day in the UK (not sure if it’s the same date worldwide!) so my Mum didn’t want to ‘do’ Christmas last year. This year she wants us to bring their only grandchild home to their house for Christmas where she already has decorations galore up and presents waiting for my little man (who turns 3 in Feb). So, as soon as my partner finishes up his nursing shift on Christmas Eve we will be braving the traffic and travelling home to my Mum (and Dads) for Christmas 🎄

Merry Festive Season everyone….make every minute count, you never realise just how precious they are until those minutes are memories! ❤️

My family is pretty small and scattered far apart, so the holidays are usually just me and my cat Miranda. I do have a sister who is a nurse and who works a lot of holidays, so she drops by with leftovers after the actual holiday which stretches my celebration out. Since I’m a quadriplegic though I do have home health aides who stop by throughout the holiDAY, and who bring goodies from their celebrations. I’m eternally grateful to them for making my holidays special and don’t know what I’d do without them.

Wishing all of you a wonderful holiday and sending a big Thank You to JA for these giveaways!

I will be celebrating the whole month of December. My grandkids and I will be making a different Christmas cookie each day. That is how we do our advent calendars in our family. Then Christmas Eve is for the whole family to get together and do dinner. My immediate family and grandkids get to open their Christmas Eve pjs. Then Christmas Day, we all go to watch my grandkids open presents and make Christmas breakfast together. Then my hubby and I head home to start Christmas dinner and we have a quiet dinner with the kids and grandkids.

This may sound a bit odd but I usually spend the night Christmas Eve at my ex-husbands, we usually do a nice dinner with our family and friends. Our youngest daughter usually comes home from college at least for a few days so we get to spend quality time with her and she loves it that we still get to do Christmas morning as a family.

My 65th birthday will be on the 23rd so I’m hoping to have a nice dinner with my husband, sister and her family and my mom. On the 24th I will go to Mass and then spend a quiet evening at home with my husband and we will have “fun” foods (appetizers) and a beer or two for dinner. On Christmas we will celebrate quietly at my mom’s with my sister and her family. I will have to work on the 23rd but will enjoy being off work until the 27th.

Our December plans include celebrating my 52nd birthday on the 9th, then my nephew’s 17th birthday on the 14th, and then a few small family get togethers for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Our 14-year old twins have requested low-key for the holidays because they have been overwhelmed with starting high school this year. We would rather have small intimate gatherings with family where everyone feels comfortable with lower stress and anxiety levels. Our children’s mental health is very important.

Unfortunately I had to make the promise that I will not listen to books in the first week we are away, but I made no such promises for week 2!

We have several activities planned with the family during December. My two daughters and their families live within 2 miles of us so it’s easy for us to plan to be together. My daughters are married to brothers and we get both families together for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We just change locations. Christmas Eve we are at my sons in law’s family home for dinner and the evening. Christmas Day we make several stops, ending up at my daughter’s home. It’s crazy busy and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

We haven’t made any plans as I spent Thanksgiving and am currently in the hospital staying with my mom. She had a 15 hour surgery to remove cancer of her mouth, neck, and lymph nodes and reconstruction of her tongue and jaw. She’s unable to go home because of an infection and she isn’t “nutritionally sound” enough to be released. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I walked into the hospital today and saw the trees everywhere and realized I haven’t put up one tree in my home. By the Friday after Thanksgiving I have 3 trees up, the entire house decorated and 50 nutcracker statues scattered throughout. This year, I don’t even think they’ll be any shopping.

Spend time with people you care about and don’t see enough. I think sometimes we forget that giving our time to one another or doing something like offering to run errands for folks unable to do such things, gives pleasure and cost so little.

We then have Christmas Day with our own individual families to open stockings and presents. There’s nothing very formal about our Christmas Day. My favorite part of Christmas, though, are our family advent devotions when we focus on the sacred aspects of Christmas and prepare ourselves for the second coming of Christ.
