SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN FOR THE GIVEAWAY…
Finally, the last Book of Legion is out! What a ride! Happy book birthday to Skulls & Lace!
FIVE RELEASES IN FIVE WEEKS… that’s… chaos!
I’ve only done this one other time — my Social Media Novella Serial in summer 2014. That was six novellas every two weeks, and I was a complete zombie for 12 weeks because I didn’t write them ahead of time.
I think I had maybe two ready when I pushed publish on the first one. Don’t ever do that! Lol. If you’re a writer, just don’t do it. I was writing and releasing at the same time and it was a NIGHTMARE!
THIS series was written LAST year. The audiobook has been with my production company for four months. These narrators were booked last May, I think? Maybe June. All of the graphics were made in batches months ago. All I really had to do was come up with a weekly blog post. The vibe of this time vs last time couldn’t be more different.
My world has changed so much in the last year — not just because I moved out of Colorado, that’s actually the least of it. It’s the world around us, right? Like our little dramatic lives are in one category now, and the larger CRAZY WORLD sits over there somewhere.
It’s pretty overwhelming.
That’s why people like stories. That’s why I write stories. And that’s probably why you’re here reading mine.
And I am incredibly lucky that you are. I know y’all are reading along, or perhaps you got an early omnibus copy in my Patreon and read it all at once — so the cliffs have been a thing, and I thank you very much if you read along because it means the world to me.
I have such supportive fans — lots of them. But also a core group of readers who have literally been with me since the beginning in 2013. Even a few that have been here since 2012 with my first book release ever.
The whole thing is a bit surreal to be honest. And I am grateful every day and truly do feel blessed to have the readers I do.
Rest assured, I have MORE BOOKS COMING. My next release is a MAFIA ROMANCE in ONE MONTH called HER CHAINS HER CHOICE.
AND I have already finished Book of Legion #6 and I’m working on #7 right now, because SEASON TWO of this series will be dropping weekly in August, right after the AUDIOBOOK and OMNIBUS release.
By the way, that audiobook will be well worth the wait…
TEDDY HAMILTON & SAMANTHA SUMMERS IN DUET NARRATION
So that’s it I guess — happy book birthday to Skulls & Lace, and thank you for being here.

THIS ONE WILL DESTROY YOU
Skulls & Lace is LIVE
Their love story has always been doomed—ranch heiress and outlaw biker, angel and demon, the girl in white dresses and the man covered in biblical warfare tattoos.
Savannah’s life is content. Her engagement to a senator’s son is brand. Everything has been managed, controlled, and performed to perfection.
Legion’s life is hell. His family was destroyed long before he was born. His ending predetermined long before he met the Little Ashby Princess in a silo.
They’ve been stealing moments since they were teenagers, burning for each other in a world that keeps demanding they choose sides.
Now it’s time.
Necessary reckoning.
Spectacular collision.
Brutal reality.
Time to burn it down, boys.
SKULLS AND LACE
Every prayer gets answered. Not all of them are from God.

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE AUDIOBOOK NARRATOR?
![]()
MY ANSWER
This is an impossible question to answer for me because I LOVE AND ADORE EVERY SINGLE NARRATOR who ever took the time to bring my characters and stories to life! EVERY BOOK of mine has an audiobook. So that’s a LOT of narrators. But I am particularly fond of:
Teddy Hamilton
Jason Clarke
Ava Erickson
Jill Redfield
Samantha Summers
CJ Mission
Troy Duran
Shane East
Will Watt
Gary Furlong
Kristin Sieh
Julia Whelan
Joe Arden
Jacob Morgan
I would say from that list – Teddy and Ava have done the most books for me. Easily in the dozens for Ava. She is my absoule first choice for a female narrator every time. I’m pretty sure Teddy is well over a dozen too. Teddy did my first book in 2015 – Anarchy Chained. Then went on to do Five and broke everyone with his talent.
But CJ has done quite a few as well. He is much loved by me and caught my ear when he took over the role of Crux in my Harem Station Series. Since then, he’s gone on to do many, many more including Sparktopia and The Rumble and the Glory.
Jill and Samantha are two of MY ABSOLUTE GO-TO WOMEN for any all narration. Jill, such a professional. Perfect every time – esp in Sparktopia and The Rumble and the Glory. And Samantha can be any character you ask her to. She was Irina in Sick Hate – oh, man. What a performance.
Troy was one of the first narrators I ever booked in 2014/15. He is the voice of FORD and MERC! (and Cort in Sick Heart too!)
Kristin Sieh is the voice of Junco – and man, did she ever nail it. This woman’s talent for accents is absolutely unbelievable. She did a cast of dozens and every voice is different.
Jason Clarke turned my Monster Romance (Damaged Gods) into a masterpiece (alongside Kristin, as that is her other name on that book)
Jacob destroyed it as Bully King and then nailed Creeping Beautiful as Zachary Webber too.
Joe has done a lot of books for me – my Fav is Gorgeous Misery and hopefully I can book him soon for something else.
Shane is always the talent! I’ve given him some CRAZY roles and he nails them every time. Especially the Harem Station series!
Gary and Will are both MASTERS – ABSOLUTE MASTERS – of the accents! Will absolutely killed it in Godslayer taking over the role of Tyse with Gary playing a whole host of manipulative ‘gods’ at the same time.
And even though Julia Whelan has only done one book with me – The Ro Bro – I will give almost anything she narrates a try, she’s THAT talented.
In case you can’t tell – I LOVE AUDIOBOOKS! And I love narrators too!
Who are your favs?

Ummmm, I’ve not listened to audio enough to have a fav narrator.
I LOVE audiobooks especially yours and listen to over 750 a year. I obviously love all of yours but would also not on the above list I’d add my love for Eric Nolan & Heather Wilds
I don’t think I have one
I love love how well you match narrators to their characters. It’s just perfect.
There is one not mentioned though and I just love his voice- Jonathan McClain. He’s done some amazing work for you, with the Sin with Me series.
Impossible question!
Top 5 in no particular order:
Teddy Hamilton
Tad Branson
Jacob Morgan
Ava Erickson
Jill Redfield
and soooo many more!!
You always have the best narrators and they are always worth the wait 💗
Ava Erickson for best female narrator!
And for male…..
Adam Gold! He is a true talent! ❤️❤️❤️
Cannot wait for the audiobooks!
I don’t usually listen to audio books, so I really cannot say who my favourite one would be.
Without a doubt Jason Clarke and Teddy Hamilton
I’ve only listened to a couple of audio books, although I’ve bought lots but I feel like Teddy is going to blow my mind putting a voice to Legion (considering reading the book did already). I can’t wait!
I don’t have a favorite at the moment.
I have so many favorites also. Shane East, Steve West, Teddy Hamilton, they have such deep rumbly voices (swoon) Tavia Gilbert, and Lorelei King
Teddy and Ava are top of my list as well. I love Troy for his deep voice.
I have never listened to an audiobook all the way through to the end. At first I didn’t enjoy them nor could I see how they could be enjoyable, but then someone helped me understand that you can change the speed which was world changing. I suggest to anyone that like I had thought that audiobooks were monotonously droned TRY PLAYING WITH THE SPEED. It really will offer a different experience.
I still am not an audiobook person because reading has always been my quiet, personal escape/ experience. Whether as a child staying quiet and out of the way or as an adult reading while the rest of the house sleeps I read to myself. I have always had books tucked into purses, pockets, sometimes my waistband. I am extremely grateful to be able to have my library on my kindle or on my kindle app on my phone. No matter where I am I can always read because it’s silent and nobody is affected by it. I realize now with new technology I could have ear buds, but I’m an old dog. I’m set in my ways. Maybe that’s something for the future if my eyes fail me. Or someone shows me how life changing they are like someone did with opening my eyes to changing the speed. Until then it’s ebooks for me.
Just a long explanation of why I don’t have a favorite narrator. 🥰
This! better explanation than I gave!
Eric Nolan is my favorite hands down!!
I don’t do audio books. I have a hard time getting into them. My brain does not process them the same way. Maybe one day I’ll give them a try again and they will work for me. One can hope.
I don’t do audio books. I love to read. O
I don’t usually listen to audiobooks but Troy Duran’s voice, ya I’m here for it
I have never listened to an audiobook so I don’t have one
I love your list!! Let’s add Corvin King and Alexander Cindese
I love audiobooks! My husband just shacks his head, I’ll be reading two different books and listening to a whole different book there. Anyway, Ava Erickson and Joe Arden probably lead a very large pack of faves.
Ava and Joe for sure my favs
Marguerite Gavin is one of my favorite narrators. she did the Kim Harrison Racheal Morgan books and she did so many voices that brought all the3 characters ALIVE.
I don’t have a frame of reference since I don’t listen to audio books, so I will just say “ALL of them”!
I absolutely love everyone of your audiobooks and all the narrators and I think they are absolutely perfection. I love to listen to an audiobook for my reread of a book especially. I think overall with all books I have listened to on audio book my favorites are Teddy Hamilton, Jason Clarke and Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor, Jill and Ava.
It’s hard to pick one but Teddy Hamilton voice is wonderful to listen to. The way he brings the character to life in my mind is amazing! He is definitely one of my favorites.
I don’t think that I have a favorite narrator.
Ava Erickson
Erin Mallon
Jason Clarke
Aiden Snow
My absolute favorites! ❤️🩷
I have so many favourites..I just seem o love ALL Narrators..lol and I forget which ones I have listened to.
Here are just a few
Sean Masters
Christian Fox
Thomas Lockclear
Connor Crais
Teddy Hamilton,
Jason Clarke
J.F Harding
Roberto Scarlato
Sebastian York
Aiden Snow
Aaron shedlock
Ryan West
Shane East
Rupert Channing
Robert Hatchett
C.J Bloom
Samantha Brentmoor
Erin Mallon
Andi Ardnt
Maxine Mitchell
Vanessa Edwin
Heather Firth
Kelsey Navarro Foster
Rose Dioro
Megan C Tyler she is really new to narrating romance and has so much potential I would love to see her get a shot at more romances to read.
There are so many more that I can’t even think of at the moment I JUST LOVE Audiobooks they have been such a lifeline to me and I have so much love for narrators they are not credited enough for what they do.
Thankyou so much or the chance.
Take Care. xx
Andrea Parsneau and Sebastian York are some of my favorites. But there are so many more that I like if is really difficult to choose😝
I don’t always listen audiobooks, but I would say the ones I have listened too Ava, Teddy and Joe.
Wow this is a difficult question because I love many narrators. One of my favorites is Teddy Hamilton. I absolutely love when Teddy Hamilton and Ava Erickson have a duet. There’s nothing like it.
Julie, just love Teddy Hamilton ! However Jacob and Shane East are also great to listen too. The right narrator for the right character makes for the best listen.
That being said have not listen to one of your audiobooks I was not fully invested in❣️
Keep them coming…..
I don’t listen to a lot of audio books. The one I do the most is Stephanie Plum series. I couldn’t listen to another voice except Lorelei King. She does an amazing job of voicing ALL of the characters, men and women!
Confessions time. I don’t do audiobooks. I’m afraid the voices would change how my mind sees the characters… HOWEVER, I did go listen to snippets and I would pick Jacob. 😁
Troy Duran hands down
My favorite narrators are CJ Mission, Jamie Treselyan, Macie Miller and Marcus Rayne. Their voices carry an incredible wealth of emotion, endless variety of voices and the absolute defining quality of bringing their characters to life. Their audios are usually go to audios for me when I just need to drift away from all the craziness.
My pick is Jason Clarke
Shane East
That man could read a phone book and make it sound sexy.
The right voice with the right role- addictive listening!!
I don’t have a favorite.
Teddy Hamilton is top tier!!! I also love Troy Duran and Connor Crais! The Rook & Ronin series were my first audiobooks!
Since we never give enough credits to our female narrators I am going to start with them.
Heather Firth, Maxine Mitchell, Ava Erickson, Angelina Rocca, Hathaway Lee. They are all brilliant and always perform so well.
And uhm… This is the part when I tell you that I am an audiobook junkie and I actually have a notebook with a very long list of names of my favourite narrators. So I will try to limit my answers to 5.
For male narrators – and I thought it through very carefully- my number one and absolute favourite is Jason Clarke. I just can not fault him. The range, the acting, his growls, the way his voice literally translates to emotions… He can deliver a sweet cinnamon roll or a total alpha. I even like his female voice which was an absolute bonus while I was listening to the Monsters of St. Mark’s.
Next up my latest obsession, James Cassidy.
Then there is Aaron Shedlock, J.F. Harding, Teddy Hamilton, Joe Arden, Shane East, Gregory Salinas, Antony Palmini, Patrick Zeller, Corvin King, Michael Gallagher, Lucas Webley…
Fuck, thats more than five. Oh well, I tried, and said that I was addicted to them.
This is like asking someone to choose their favorite child…I can’t do it. All I know is you have picked the perfect voices to match your characters in every audio book I’ve listened to of yours. So thanks for being picky with your storytellers! ❤
Jason Clarke and Tor Thom make me one click a book regardless of author every time
Every single actual voice actor narrator is my fav. The ones that immerse me into a story and make me feel the story.
Honorable mentions;
Corvin King – this man’s voice just makes me melt. I don’t care what he says I will melt. He can read me a recipe and I will be a puddle.
Teddy Hamilton of course – because well he’s Teddy.
Jacob Morgan
Andi Arent
Shane East – that fucking accent….do I need to expand?
And so many others that I can’t remember off the top of my head!!!
