I hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving. And if you’re not in the US, I hope you had a lovely 4th Thursday in November. I haven’t been up to much. My fucking stove broke like two weeks ago and even though I ordered one (with an air fryer!!) it won’t be delivered until December 18th. So that’s fun. lol We got Black Eyed Pea takeout for Thanksgiving! Whatever. Nothing can stress me out this year. I’m over all of it. I just go with the flow now.

I bought a new microwave too. I tend to use things even if they kinda break because where I live, change is a hassle. This microwave has had a broken handle for like two and a half years. It was time. But getting new appliances when you’re on liquid propane gas isn’t as straight forward as it is when you just have regular natural gas. Home Depot and Lowe’s won’t install it. At least here in CO, you have to call someone special because they have to put in different valves or some shit. And I live in the middle of nowhere, so not a lot of options when it comes to installation people. Everything is harder out here. Even though Black Forest, Colorado is only like 25 minutes down the highway, they won’t come here. Same for the Castle Rock people who are 25 minutes up the highway. So I usually have to call someone who is in one of the small-small towns in the area – those guys don’t mind driving. But they are very busy all the time. So unless it’s an emergency, you have to wait and wait and wait for them to fit you in. Anyway. That’s my kitchen appliance update. haha.

I stopped writing the book I’m on to do some marketing. I feel like it’s impossible to do both. Because when I’m writing, I write 6000 words a day. The reward center in my brain likes to see word count go up and this is what keeps me motivated. The problem is, when I’m done–even though it’s only like noon–I don’t want to think about marketing and business stuff. lol So I’m usually doing nothing but writing or nothing but business and marketing stuff. And I HAVE to do marketing and business stuff right now because I have 125 orders to get in the mail (This Thursday! About 80% of the signed-book orders will be in the mail!) Plus I have to get my Christmas cards out. AND I wanted to do a 12 DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS this year. 

It’s been a shitty year in a lot of ways. I really can’t complain because aside from the untimely demise of my stove, no major tragedies have befallen me. But it’s been stressful. So I figured if ever there was a year begging for a 12 Days of Giveaways, it’s 2020.

I have a bunch of things to fill you in on today so I figured I’d write a blog post and do a newsletter instead of just posting it up in the fan group.

First of all the really big news – the last HAREM STATION book, UNCROSSED, now has a cover reveal date and a release date.

THIS IS CRUX’S SECOND BOOK.

The first book was a free novella called STAR CROSSED.

The cover reveal will happen on December 10th and the release day will happen on January 26th. The audiobook will be released with the ebook and the narrators  are Shane East and Christian Fox. I’m so fucking excited to listen to this one. I don’t have the files yet but hopefully I will get them soon and I’ll post some teasers for you guys.

This book took a while. The last Harem Station book released in October of 2019. So it’s been OVER A YEAR. Um.. Sorry about that. This is the seventh and last book in the series so I had a lot of story to wrap up. It’s on the longer side, so if you like long books, bonus for you. And this little side project was super fun and the KC Cross pen name is far from over. I will be releasing an erotic PARANORMAL ROMANCE later in the year. Maybe more than one. We’ll see how things shake out.

The clips that held the glass in the door on our old stove broke and it was 1/2 the cost of a new stove to replace so my husband used “Duck Dynasty” duct tape to hold it in. Yes! Duck Dynasty!! The stove worked fine for another five years!!! Anyway thanks for all of your great books. They are a blessing for that escape from reality!

  180. Hello from AZ. Ironically, I had my oven go out too. I waited 2 weeks and it was damaged (make sure you inspect it when they deliver it – make them open the box before you sign anything – lesson learned, I was almost stuck with it. The replacement is supposed to be here tomorrow. I hope you get yours soon!

  235. Love your giveaways! Usually I buy myself a few of your books but it’s been a rough year! I didn’t even sign up for a card. I love the new Rook and Ronin audiobook and of course I had to read Ford, Spencer, The Company, MMITD and then Wasted Lust. I noticed that you have it as a 321 spinoff. I think it’s more of a Company spinoff. I didn’t have to read 321 again to get the story but if people didn’t read the same books I did, I don’t think they would love it as much. Just my opinion.   246. Hi I’m glad your kitchen will get done even though you have had to wait hope it all goes as planned for you. I love reading I read everyday I love Rh books and read a lot of them in any gene. Lockdown and this year has been absolutely poop kids are bored and specially if you have a disabled child has been hard to keep them busy I had to do a sensory room under the stairs cupboard for mine to cope with all the change that has been happening but apart from every day life and making changes to keep us safe and others I’m lucky to have what we have. I love your books and I am so grateful for authors like your self for writing books to keep us entertained the whole shitty year so Thankyou form the bottom of my heart for keeping me sane x x x x

We are 20 minutes from the border of our capital but they won’t deliver as it’s too far but will travel to the other side of Canberra which can take 45 minutes or more depending on traffic it gives me the giggles everytime.
