RELEASE WEEK GIVEAWAY – THE RUMBLE AND THE GLORY

Renee Blamer – You are the winner! Please respond to the email I sent.

Finally, it’s RELEASE WEEK for The Rumble and the Glory! I’m jumping up and down excited about it too! I love so many things about this new world, and these new characters, and all these new twisted problems I’ve dreamed up for them. This is book one of MANY.

I refuse to say how many books I will write in this series.

Not because I’m being difficult but because I think I might keep writing in this series forever. It’s a very big world and I’ve hardly scratched the surface yet. I’ve always hated that trilogies are the ‘norm’ is book writing. Of course, there are lots of authors out there who write never-ending series. Me included if you count The Company.

It’s just, we get a lot of pushback from readers if we keep going like that. They just start bitching and moaning about “how we just want readers to spend more money”. If you’re reading this you’re probably one of my long-time fans and that certainly doesn’t apply to you because most of you beg me to keep going. Every week I get comments about random secondary characters that I said I would write a story for… and they just got left behind because readers wanted the new shiny stuff more.

But this time, I’m sticking to my guns. I’m not going to end it. Sacred Trinity will stay open forever. It’s just a great world and I have so many ideas, I want to keep it going.

Now – that doesn’t mean I will only write this series and nothing else. I’ve got way too many ideas to stick to one series, no matter how big the world is. And I probably won’t rapid-release future books inside a trilogy. I picture future books all being standalones. And I think I will put out 1 or 2 a year.

So yeah, that’s the plan for these people and these towns.

A long, twisted, never-ending story.

I hope you enjoy The Rumble and the Glory. I hope you fall in love with these small West Virginia towns, and I hope that Collin, Lowyn. Amon, Rosie, Clover, and Riggs will weasel their way into your hearts the same way that Rook, Ronin, Ford, Ashleigh, Spencer, and Veronica did.

Thank you for reading, thank you for reviewing, and BOOK TWO, THE ECHO ON THE WATER, RELEASES JULY 25! AND IF YOU WANT TO READ IT RIGHT NOW YOU CAN JOIN MY PATREON AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO WAIT!

GET EARLY ACCESS TO BOOK 2 RIGHT NOW BY CLICKING HERE!

Collin Creed is a killer. But he’s Lowyn’s killer. And after a twelve-year separation, she wants him back.

Deep in the hills of West Virginia, three small towns have found a way to flourish in the face of extreme poverty. Disciple runs a side-show tent revival that brings in millions of dollars a year. Bishop flaunts traditional ways in the vein of Colonial Williamsburg, luring weary city people to the slow-living lifestyle. And Revenant offers them an experience of sin filled with tattooed bikers and live-music dive bars.

It’s a sacred trinity that worships the almighty dollar and everyone plays their role like a well-trained Broadway actor.
But these hills have secrets, and so do the people.

Twelve years ago, when he was just eighteen and dreaming of a future with his high school sweetheart, Collin Creed learned something about himself. Something so disturbing he left Disciple to join the Marines and didn’t once look back. But all that came to a screeching halt with the congressional hearings, forcing Collin to return home and rebuild his black-ops empire brick by brick.

Lowyn McBride’s heart broke when Collin shut her out and left town without an explanation just as they were getting ready to start their adult lives together. The death of her mother the following year was a make-or-break moment and Lowyn rose to the occasion, giving up her university education to parent her younger sister while building an empire of her own as a specialty antiques dealer.

Anger and desire, guilt and shame—the return of the enigmatic Collin Creed ignites the town and sparks an explosion of emotions inside Lowyn. But he’s not the only one with a secret in his past. Lowyn has always played the good girl to Collin’s bad-boy reputation. But it turns out—she’s just like everyone else up in these hills—not as wholesome and pure as she looks.

The Rumble and the Glory is a cinematic and spicy small-town secret, second-chance romance wrapped up in a cloak of mystery and suspense. It honors the themes of found family, redemptive anti-hero, and is filled with bigger-than-life, morally-grey characters against a backdrop of deceit and deception.

Will be having a family reunion at a lake. We only get an opportunity once a year to meet since they usually have their own plans for the holidays. So when summer comes along we all get together and have a cookout.

As a retired nurse, I am working part time at my favorite hobby, a local book store. I love to read a lot and listen when I’m doing other things, ie chores, walking, etc. I have been waiting for this next release of my most favorite author. I also live 1 mile from good old west Virginia, so this series will be extra special.

In addition to listening to The Rumble and The Glory, and other relistens of The Company books, I’ll be taking short trips around my state this summer. We have 140+ lighthouses around Michigan and I’d like to visit as many as possible. I also like to spend time with my granddaughters while they are out of school. I can’t wait to hear about your moving adventures. That’s quite an undertaking. Good luck with everything. I hope it all goes well. 💜💜

Hi Julie, I’m just going to be 100% honest with you when I say my summer has been, well, not the best. My hubby and I are just in this working rut and our family needs a break. In July we have a trip to Ichetucknee Springs, which I cannot wait for. It is desperately needed let me tell ya. Just thinking about it relieves some of my stress. It’s a place that truly soothes my soul. Any spring really. Maybe I was a manatee in a past life, lol. So while my summer has been lackluster and full of work, there is some silver lining up ahead 🙂

Wow, moving your ranch?! That’s a big adventure, can’t wait to hear more about that! I’ve had a tough year, caring for my Mama & this week I move her into Memory Care. It’s bittersweet because I’m so grateful to have found a wonderful place that specializes in what she needs & to have had the foresight 25 years ago to purchase long term care insurance for her so we can afford this crazy expensive care but, it’s painfully humbling to realize you cannot provide the care someone you love so much needs. Next month I’m headed to Mexico for a week with my hubby & 2 teenagers & I cannot express how much I need that break away. Can’t wait to enjoy this new trilogy on the beach with a cocktail in hand ☺️ good luck on your move!

I just made a quick trip up to Reno, NV to visit my son who was there for a few days, we went to Virginia City – such a cool little town! Lots of mines! We also drove into Tahoe so now I can officially say after 27 years of living in Nevada that I’ve been to the Reno/Tahoe area! The rest of the summer is up in the air – probably will make a few trips to CA to visit my mother in law who just turned 94. Lots of staying inside and reading since it’s SO hot! Oh, we’re installing new flooring this year so it’s the perfect time to clean out all those closets and clean up all the clutter and get rid of stuff we don’t use or need.

It was a road trip which I loved.
The rest of summer will be spent looking for job, doing some self help stuff and babysitting grand daughters who I’ve nicknamed itchy and scratchy because they often refuse to get along! (they’re 4&6)I love them but they are a

Also I’ll be getting my car back from the Collision Garage after being hit by someone in May…they’re finally finishing rebuilding it! YAY! It’s old with little mileage and I just love it…hope it runs okay for awhile longer! In between house work, yard work and general life stuff, I’m reading…my absolutely favorite thing to do! I’m reading the Sacred Trinity trilogy on Patreon this summer. I’ve never had the experience of reading one chapter a day. Frankly, I didn’t think I’d like having to wait a day for the next chapter to be released, but I’m loving it! I think it’s because of how real the characters and the settings feel to me. I’d love to attend the Revival in Disciple! That would be a fun summer (or anytime) vacation. Other than reading I don’t really have any summer plans other than trying to stay cool. These temperatures are way too hot for me.

My plans for this summer definitely changed on May 11, 2024 when I somehow fell walking across a hospital lobby. I had no time to react. Landed on my left shoulder, etc. Have a fractured humeral head and a crack in another bone so “Sling life” is my life for a while. Thankfully no surgery needed. Healing everyday so physical therapy will be next. Good luck, Julie, on your move and getting your new place set up.💕

I am spending my summer taking our 16-year old son to follow-up appointments and immune IV infusion treatments after a scary six-day stay at Children’s Hospital Detroit for internal bleeding. We were lucky to get a diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis, and auto-immune disorder, and a great treatment plan to rebuild his immunity instead of putting him on steroids for 6-months. As scary as the situation was for us, we were blessed to be at a great hospital with amazing doctors, nurses, and staff. These appointment will give me lots of time to read and listen to Julie’s books. We know things could have been so much worse, so we are all trying to see the blessings we have every day.
BTW last year his twin brother spent his year at Children’s Hospital for pre-tests to get a Pulmonary Valve replacement last October 2023. His second heart surgery since his open heart surgery at 8-weeks old. So we look for the small blessings every day.

Mainly just more catchup work around the house and trying to get things finished i’ve had to keep putting off because of the constant attack on my body from chronic illness and the affect it’s having on my mental health. My focus is to try and be kinder to myself about the situation, and just do what i can to push myself through this. And just hope the fall months will bring some answers and much needed relief. I just got home from 3 days in Louisville Kentucky, knockout bookbash book signing, absolutely great time and proceeds go to charity and this is a military dog charity, Jennifer Madden is a founder of the group, and my sister and oldest niece will be visiting over 4th of July and I have to work and won’t be able to see much of them but my kids and grandkids will so that’s a plus, thank you for the opportunity

Heavy duty gardening. I’m in a new job, and not allowed to take vacation first 90 days…. Taking care of parents, who have moved closer into an assisted living, but are still in a single-family home. Hanging with the grandkids.
    Loving this series!! <3

Lots of gardening, tearing down my garage and putting up a fence. I can’t wait to have a beautiful backyard I can enjoy!

My oldest daughter turns 16 this summer!! And she has had a hell of a past few years. I’m so proud of how far she has come battling her PTSD and her wish this summer is to go to Sea World in a “poofy” dress, so that is what we will do. My youngest daughter is turning 13 a few days before that and she wants a big water party, western themed, at our house with a water slide. So we’re making that happen too 😁 Throw my birthday in there somewhere and it’s a grand celebration weekend (we’re packing it all into one weekend to fit in with my husband’s work schedule). Should be a bit of stress with a lot of fun!

Well, trying to spend my summer trying to not go too crazy 😀 Between work, traveling out of state for work as well, my youngest son’s sports and camps, both my twins work and have started college. I am just trying to squeeze in some memories between all that and needing to fix a dozen or so things around my house (yuck…).

No big plans this summer as my hubbys work is going to be crazy but we are planning on going to the Ren. Fair at some point and camping.

THE DANGER IN THE DAMAGE

A soldier searching for redemption.
A man addicted to control.
And the woman caught between them…

Ean Shephard knows trouble when he sees it and Olive Creed is the kind of trouble that can burn his whole world down. As Collin Creed’s baby sister, she’s completely off-limits. But her quiet strength, combined with her sad vulnerability, keeps pulling him closer. Shep came to Edge Security to escape his past, but falling for Olive could ruin his second chance and the fragile peace he’s fought so hard to find.

Brose Sinclair has always played the long game. He and Olive are more than just partners inside the shadow organization they both work for, they’re lovers. His absolute authority keeps her on track and Olive likes it that way. But her sudden attraction to their target threatens everything they’ve worked for and for the first time, Brose finds himself questioning whether control is enough to keep Olive by his side.

Olive Creed has spent her life learning to play her role perfectly. She can’t afford to mess up. Not with Brose watching her every move, looking for mistakes. Mistakes she sometimes makes on purpose just to spur on his titillating punishment. But as she starts to fall for her target and her world begins to crumble beneath her feet, Olive finds herself wondering—which one of these two men would truly be there in her darkest hour?

Brose—the one who owns her mind?

Or Shep—the one who wants her heart?

The Danger in the Damaged is a battlefield of betrayal and control, where loyalty is a weapon and obsession takes no prisoners. It’s a best-friend’s-little-sister romance caught in the crossfire of dark secrets and mind games—and this time, Collin Creed isn’t the one calling the shots.

Inside the pages you’ll find…

Enemies to Lovers
Best Friend’s Sister
