GODSLAYER $200 GIFT SET GIVEAWAY

  • July 7, 2025

  • Giveaways, JA Huss, New Release

Spark is light.
Spark is power.
Spark is deadly.

Tyse never asked to play the Game of Gods, but Delta demands loyalty.

With Clara at his side, Tyse is thrust into a brutal world of augments—humans forged to serve and destroy. Each step forward pushes them closer to becoming something more—a force Clara can feel but doesn’t fully understand. A future that terrifies her as much as it draws her in.

Day by day, the man Clara pledged her loyalty to becomes more and more a stranger. But in the Game of Gods, survival demands sacrifice.

Clara has already done that once—she’s certain she can do it again.

Jasina and Finn left Tau City in ruins, vowing to end the Extractions by destroying every god’s tower. But the train line hides dark truths. Forgotten people cling to survival. Towers rise from the ruins of erased cities. And deep in the shadows, a godlike AI watches, weaving its own agenda.

Jasina has always been the strong one, the leader. But the train line holds secrets that cut deeper than she’s prepared for. Truths about spark. About the gods. About herself.

And Finn—the man burdened by his failures—is rising to find his strength.

But can Jasina ever fully trust him?

Godslayer is an epic, spicy, and angst-filled Romantasy that begs the question … how well do you really know your God? And how much are you willing to sacrifice to save him?

I’m so thrilled with how GODSLAYER turned out. Both the story and the audiobook production are, in my humble opinion, some of the best work I’ve done (or paid for! as it pertains to audio!) and I love it. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year since I released SPARKTOPIA and much more than that since I first started writing it.

The story is everything I first imagined it to be (AND MORE!) so there will be TWO MORE BOOKS! A lot of readers have asked how quickly I will get out book three because they “don’t read a series until it’s complete” but too bad, so sad, I will not be writing more than one Game of Gods book per year.

This isn’t a series for fans or money, it’s a series for me and my personal growth and pleasure as an author.

So… One book a year.

I hope ya’ll like GODSLAYER and I guess that’s it. ENJOY!

This summer I’m moving! I have SO MANY UPDATES FOR YOU GUYS, it’s crazy. But I’m not telling anyone what’s going on until it’s done because there are so many moving parts (and plans change all the time) I feel like updates should come when it’s all over. So I’ll be doing that pretty soon. Movers are coming this week… plans are being made… very exciting things are happening.

But even though I’m not ready to give ya’ll my details about what’s going on this summer, I would sure love to hear about yours! And that’s how you enter the giveaway!

IT’S TIME FOR A LIFE UPDATE!

Drop a comment below (scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to find the comment box) and TELL ME – WHAT’S GOING ON WITH YOU THIS SUMMER!

Do that and you’re automatically entered to win this GAME OF GODS GRAND PRIZE FEATURING:

This summer I’m taking a break! Being laid off from my job in May gave me time with my son to enjoy life for a while. I’m saying “see ya later” to many friends who are moving away (military life) and meeting new neighbors who are just arriving. It’s an exciting summer, and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for me!

My summer has been pretty amazing. We went to Colorado to visit our oldest daughter at the end of May. I bought a new car. My husband and I toured some local plantation houses in our home state of Louisiana. This weekend coming is a beach trip to celebrate our friends birthday. I’ve been relistening to the company series following your order. Super excited to read Godslayer. Absolutely loved Sparktopia. I’ve also been my sisters ride because she had surgery and can’t drive for a while.

Can’t wait to read book 2. No summer plans for me. I take my children to Disneyland Paris at the end of September, not little anymore but this will probably be our last trip there as my youngest has just turned 16 and will no doubt be off on her own travels soon. Summer plans for me will involve gardening and family bbq’s, as long as we get the weather, the UK isn’t known for having summers

After months of medical apts and advocating for myself, I was finally diagnosed with a super rare disease called OPLL. Now that I have gotten over my recent menty B, I am relieved to know that help is definitely on the way, dear! I am trying to pack as much as I can into the summer months remaining, before my surgical appointment. I am talking fishing, kayaking, good food, good drinks and great smex! 😘

So many exciting things happening for you! I can’t wait to hear about where you’re moving to. My summer so far has had ups and downs. My mother in law passed away, so the family is dealing with the settling of the estate and getting the house ready to sell and all the stuff that goes along with getting all of the provisions of her will completed. She was the last living parent that my hubby and I had so it was particularly sad because we know we’ll never visit the old homestead in CA again once it is all settled. On a happier note, I just spent 10 wonderful days in Virginia with my son! I never want to hear people complain again about how hot it is in Nevada because I thought I was going to die in Virginia! It was in the high 90’s with 70% (or more most days) humidity! Talk about breathing in soup like conditions! LOL But we had so much fun! And I got to be there in person to celebrate his 34th birthday! We haven’t celebrated his birthday together in person since he was 16 so this was extra special.

But my mom always said if she left any money she would take my brothers and I on a trip to the east coast(We live in WA). So this summer we are doing it. My family is driving because they are retired or not working. I am flying in as I still work. So two weeks to see Washington DC, Arlington, New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, and all the places in between! I am super excited! We don’t get to take trips often (Last one was 15 years ago) so we are all really excited!

My daughter is off to college, so my Summer plans are all about her. We live in Washington state and she’s going to college in Chicago Illinois so we are planning a road trip where we get to see all the cool things between.. It’s a mother daughter trip so just the two of us I know so excited at the same time scared out of my mind because I’m gonna have to drive home by myself. i’m sure there will be lots of tears and laughter but I’m excited for her new adventure and I’ll get three days of audio listening by myself on the way home. How many JA hass books can I get through? That’s the question:)

I have had a rough start to my summer. My mom has been sick and has been in and out of the hospital. She is a very stubborn woman with an old-school mindset. She hadn’t seen a doctor in many years and is struggling to accept her diagnosis. Trying to keep her comfortable while managing everything else has been stressful.

On top of that, I’m taking care of my 8-year-old granddaughter for the summer and trying to do fun activities with her. In a moment of crisis amidst all this stress, I thought it would be a good idea to remodel my kitchen. So, for me, this summer has become a summer of survival.

Bought a new house in June and had it inspected and everything, moved in and within the first two weeks of living there the Central AC/Heater quit working had to replace all the duct work and central unit. The hot water tank gave up the ghost and to be replaced. The sliding doors going to the back deck has a leak and we got slot of rain so now have to replace those doors and the kitchen floor. This house was supposed to be move in ready with no problems noted in inspection and no problems noted from home owner. YEAH RIGHT

Weather is everything where we live. If it’s hot then it’s the beach or the pool. If it’s cooler then it’s hiking or home projects. We continue to purge everything we’ve acquired that we don’t use or never needed, putting our resources into being prepared for the future, which includes moving overseas and daydreaming of a future spending our days in the sun or exploring a new country. Concentrating on changing the things we can instead of dwelling on what (or who) we can’t.

This summer I am trying to survive menapause with No HRT. It’s not easy. Whilst doing this, survive and alcoholic partner maintain a roof over my youngest sun’s head. Whilst sober myself. Just doing it all Raw. Hoping with all of me I can fight this awful depression and anxiety and actually WANT to wake in the morning. Books for the depression and crochet for the anxiety. Because I feel like a shut in. No feeling to go out. No family no friends. And now I get to regret saying all this. Boy I like to ramble when I don’t have to worry about the consequences of someone near me knowing my truths.

In January, I moved to the small town, Swansea, South Carolina. I discovered several feral cat colonies behind my house in the woods. So, I am getting help from an organization to get them all spayed and/or neutered. There are about 2 dozen cats or more and 4 litters of kittens, that I know of. I put my trap out around 4:00am, and then I have to leave my house by 5:00am and drive an hour and a half. They only take 5 feral cats, so you have to be there early. They also don’t have the resources to feed them, so there goes my extra income. I just love them and want them to have a safe life.

This summer. Hmm. Saying farewell to my beloved aunt. Supporting my mom as she heals from a broken hip. Trying to care for our farm critters. Five horses, one donkey, one mule. Including the 34 year old horse who has been with us since he was 6 years old. Training our adopted dog, Boomer. Working with my dog behavior clients to sort out their issues. And this week, going to Switzerland with my dear friend of 30 years. Have not seen her in 10 years. Looking forward to it.

I am hoping it helps him feel more comfo4table and make friends. At the very tail end we will be taking a week vacation in Minnesota to visit family. This sumer has been busy and exciting. 🙂

This summer I’ve just released my second book of the year (under a pen name). It’s taken me almost 6 years to write this series because I suffer from ME/CFS, which is crippling.
I’m not sure I’m any good at writing, I’m certainly no good at marketing – so I’m busy fighting creeping depression and ‘worthless’ syndrome. But, I’m still writing and reading lots.
My favourite authors, like yourself really inspire me and give me lots of worlds to lose myself in.
One amazing bonus about having ME/CFS – my memory is shocking. So I can read one of your books, then a short while later get it on audible and enjoy it most as much. Then rinse and repeat and still not remember everything that will happen.
(You can imagine how in depth my character bios have to be 🤣)

For me….. various health challenges for myself and loved ones are taking up a lot of our time but we are going to try to sneak in some mini-day trips to break up the tiresome appointments and treatments. Also always trying to de-clutter. It’s a constant battle between the collector side of my brain and the minimalist side.

I will purchase Godslayer and wait patiently for your brilliant mind to write and release however many books you want for this series. As for my summer, I plan on spending more time with family. My summer started with a trip to the Gulf Coast to visit with family at the end of May. And I just got back home from spending 4th of July weekend with my parents at their lake house. I’ve been traveling to the beach as much as possible! It’s about a 45-minute drive, but it’s so worth it. We bring our Boxer dog, Bella, and she loves to play fetch in the water. Sunshine, sand, blue water, and rock hunting, are my favorite ways to spend a day.

We are doing annual home improvements. Every year since I bought my home, we have taken on a big project.
When I bought it, we spent 5 or 6 months cleaning, painting every room & ceiling, putting all wood and tile flooring.
The next summer my ex husband, nephew and daughter put an all new fence in. Last year we did front and back landscaping, sprinklers, mow strips, night lighting, and porch lights. This year we are tackling the area in the back that will be food garden and painting the house. Currently, the houses on either side of me are practically the same color as mine. I am going with a mid range grey leaning green instead. We are also replacing a lot of the interior lights and ceiling fans. We want to take my granddaughter on a few adventures: aquarium, dinosaur museum, the red woods.

Summer has been all about relaxing! Listening to audiobooks in my mini pool, enjoying the sun and being greatful. Family coming to visit over the 4th and concerts. A few trips to the drive-in movies. Lake days & camping. My daughter is 19 and my son is 15, so between 2 busy teens the kiddos and I have been getting together on Thursdays we go to the movies or out to lunch. It doesn’t get dark till 10pm here so my husband and I have lots of summer nights on the patio.

My daughter is horse crazy and has found a rescue horse to bond with at faith rocks horse farm outside of our small town. Our fourth of July celebrations will never be forgotten as our pet rat Remington passed away on Saturday. He was very old and was given to us 2 years ago by someone who was moving out of state. He was very much a member of our family and will be missed greatly. Thank you so much for the chance at your giveaway have a wonderful rest of your summer 😊

I’m retired, yet wear myself out with little projects around the house. I put together a wire chicken coop for the sole purpose of placing climbing vine garden plants inside it, so far have cucumbers and watermelons climbing chicken wire. I also gutted my bathroom, putting tile around my tub, peel and stick flooring, an entire new bathroom sink. My summer is full, (anyone can come up with things to keep busy) yet always have some time for the grandchildren.

Also trying to help my neighbor catch a momma cat and her kitten so they can be fixed. A couple concerts, maybe a comedy show and one of those outdoor festivals will be the most I can handle. Game of Gods

GODSLAYER
