Welcome to my annual 12 DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS!
If you’re new to this – here’s how it works:
1. Each day from December 1 through December 12 I will put up a new giveaway HERE on my website with instructions on how to enter, a detailed description of the prize, and some stuff about the book or series. Each giveaway is different and each has ONE WINNER. MY GIVEAWAYS ARE ALWAYS OPEN INTERNATIONAL
2. Each giveaway runs UNTIL DECEMBER 13.
3. Winners are CHOSEN and NOTIFIED on December 14. I will be notifying winners USING THE EMAIL USED TO COMMENT ON THIS BLOG – and all winners will BE LISTED AT THE TOP OF EACH GIVEAWAY POST HERE ON MY WEBSITE on December 14.
4. Winners have 24 hours to respond, then another winner will be chosen.
5. ALL PRIZES WILL BE MAILED ON DECEMBER 15. If I’m waiting on a winner to respond and they miss the December 15 mail date, that prize will be mailed when I get around to it. I live in the middle of nowhere so a trip to the post office is a “thing” for me. 🙂 So make sure you’re checking for winners on the 14th.
6. I will send newsletters announcing giveaways on December 1, December 6, December 12, and a Winner newsletter on December 14. I NEVER send this many newsletters in a month so sorry if that feels spammy.
7. You can also FOLLOW MY BLOG. I will also make a blog post HERE announcing ALL WINNERS on the 14th. If you want to follow this blog there will be a form at the bottom of each post to do that. Then you get an email when I POST HERE. I don’t do that often – December is the exception because of the 12 Days and my yearly “Wrap-up” post.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
THAT’S IT! I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THIS!
All prizes this year are self-care gift sets filled with holiday and luxury items, plus a $25 gift card and a signed copy of a a book.

Bonus Points if you Say DIE HARD! haha 🙂
IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME COMMENTING ON THE BLOG IT HAS TO BE APPROVED. SO DON’T WORRY IF IT DOESN’T SHOW UP RIGHT AWAY.
MY ANSWER
Well, duh. DIE HARD! I love how this is some kind of point of contention. Clearly it’s a Christmas movie. It’s really not my fav, but it’s a good one for sure.
Oh, to be back in the day when Hollywood made movies people actually wanted to watch…
My real favorite holiday movie is called Holiday Switch. It’s kind of a low-budget Hallmark-y type with Nicole Eggert. It’s a spin-off of A Wonderful Life, Housewife version. Anyway, I think it’s cute.
ELF and Home Alone are also favs.
AND HERE is a sneak peek of tomorrow’s giveaway!
Make sure you stop by and enter!

Elf! I’m not a big Will Ferrell fan but I love that movie
The grinch or any on hallmark. The memories of watching hallmark with my grams
Every year my family and I have a Die Hard Marathon and we always watch Christmas Vacation! Our favorites!
My favorite is elf and a Christmas story
Home Alone 1 and 2. The Grinch both with Jim Carry and The Cartoon, all the christmas classics, Its A Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story. The Polar Express and a whole bunch more
I love Christmas Vacation.
I watch Home Alone with my special needs son because it is his favorite.
My favorite is an old french movie called Le père Noël est une ordure (Santa Claus is a Stinker). It’s dark, gritty and so dang funny! My kids watched it for the first time last year and they couldn’t believe what they were watching, hahaha! Truly, it’s just brilliant!
Scrooged with Bill Murray is a Christmas movie must. I have to watch Carol Kane nail Scrooge with a toaster. It makes me laugh every time. 😂
Ok, I hate to be a copy cat but Die Hard happens in my house ALL YEAR LONG, LOL! At Christmas, it’s just on repeat! 🎄😂 (Thanks hubby!)
The Christmas movie I watch every single year no matter what is the original Grinch. ❤️
I always watch March of the Wooden Soldiers on Thanksgiving morning while cooking. I feel this kicks off my holiday season. Absolutely, no one else in my family likes this movie and they think something is wrong with me for not only watching it while I cook but also I DVR it so I can enjoy watching it over and over again. There is just something about Laurel & Hardy that cracks me up. 🎄🤣🎄
I’m a DIE HARD FAN of Home Alone, it takes a lot to make me laugh and for some odd reason, this movie makes me laugh then the ending omgeeezzz, I cry lol because I miss having family home for the holidays.
Christmas Vacation!!
We always try to watch all the Home Alone movies! Also, Rise of the Guardians is a must see every year as well.
Home Alone! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄
It’s a Wonderful Life
Ebbie with Susan Lucci
It’s a Wonderful Life is my favorite. I know it is old fashion, but so am I. Thank you for this opportunity. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Agree with you…Die Hard!
Mine is Nightmare Before Christmas, I watch it every year without fail. We also do watch Die Hard as it is definitely a Christmas movie! One of my guilty Pleasures is watching those really cheesy Hallmark TV movies too at Christmas.
Christmas Vacation is a must watch! Along with atleast 20 others 🤣 Die Hard is on that list! We always start with it 🥰
Die hard is on my list too. I love watching White Christmas and It’s a Wonderful Life
Prancer and Scrooged are must watches in our house
I watch versions of A Christmas Carol, I thought Patrick Stewart was a wonderful Scrooge, haven’t seen a better one.
We watch Elf every year.
White Christmas
If I’m gonna watch anything, Die Hard is one I’ll watch all year but for sure as a Christmas movie. Four Christmases. The Holiday. Otherwise i whatever on Hallmark if I even turn the TV on.
A Christmas Story!
“You’ll shoot your eye out, kid.”
Die hard with out a doubt.
Although I do enjoy the nightmare before Christmas as well.
Nightmare before Christmas
Elf, Home Alone and Arthur Christmas. They’re my must watch every year.
I have to watch The Year Without a Santa Claus every year. The meisers are my favorite
Die Hard IS a Christmas movie!!! And one of my favs. My other two are It’s A Wonderful Life and Scrooge. I like the one with George C. Scott because that’s the one we watched growing up.
My family doesn’t really have a movie we traditionally watch. Some favorites, though, are The Santa Claus (all of them), Polar Express, Home Alone (all of them), and The Grinch (Jim Carrey Version). A couple of my kids and I also enjoy the Hallmark Movies this time of year as well (cliche I know).
Elf or Fred Clause although I watch both every year and love actually and home alone…. I could go on I love loads of Xmas movies
White Christmas. It’s an older movie but the story line, the music and the dancing never fail to hit that feel good Christmas movie must.
Christmas with the Kranks but I’ve already watched Die Hard this year, too
I always love watching Polar Express with the family, but don’t really have a favorite “must see” holiday movie.
There’s a select few I have to watch. Elf, Nightmare before Christmas, Die Hard (because we know it’s a Christmas movie lol) and Home Alone.
It’s A Wonderful Life.
Any of the Charlie Brown! Doesn’t matter which holiday they are a must in my house
Our house fav is Elf but mine alone would have to be The Polar Express for sure.
I love watching the Grinch every year! Die Hard is great too and will always be a classic!!
I love watching Love Actually, I reminds me of my mom. When my kids are at school I grab a cozy blanket and a cup of coffee and watch it all alone. It’s my own tradition
Miracle on 34th Street (1947) and The Family Stone are must watch every year. Also plenty of classics – Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch. My adult children insist on National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
We have a list of holiday movies that we must watch every Christmas season. The Polar Express, The Christmas Chronicles on Netflix, Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer, Santa Claus is coming to Town. The original How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The classic – The Bishop’s Wife from 1947. And of course, A Charlie Brown Christmas. Those are must watch every year.
I’m not really a fan of Christmas movies, but my daughter likes The Christmas Chronicles, so I will watch that with her 🥰
Christmas Vacation and Plains, Trains and Automobiles
I actually love Die Hard… Alan Rickman was so yummy! My next favorite would be the classic Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman!
Oh yeah and Prancer!
Of course Die Hard.. the kids favorite is Elf or Home Alone (the first one). My hubby’s favorite is Christmas Vacation so we usually try and watch them all at least once.
Polar express. Just love that movie
Every year I watch White Christmas. And honestly we somehow do watch Die Hard at some point. 😆 🤣
Polar Express. My son loves this movie and we only ever watch it on Christmas day.
Christmas Vacation
The Holiday
We love Die Hard, too
Grinch, It’s a wonderful Life, Die Hard of course
Home alone is one of my favorites. I do also have a favorite cheesy hallmark movie called The Christmas Card..
Every year I watch Jim Carey The Grinch and all of the Harry Potter movies
I love the classics! My go to is The Year without a Santa Claus.
Home Alone will always be my favorite holiday movie! I also like It’s a Wonderful Life, the original one in black and white. We love to watch Scrooged with Bill Murray too and of course you cannot forget Christmas Vacation!!
lol always die hard! Last year I got my brother the Hans Gruber falling from Nakatomi Tower advent calendar but after this I guess love actually isn’t bad and as my husband pointed out Rambo first blood was also filmed around Christmas time as theirs a tree up in the police station
Nightmare before christmas Die Hard the polar express
I watch so many holiday movies on the Hallmark channels. If a classic movie is on I will try and watch it, such as It’s a Wonderful Life.
Elf for sure!!! I just watched The Holiday and that was a fun movie too!!
I love Elf, the original animated Grinch is a must watch. We just took the kids to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and that one will for sure be added to the must watch list.
Hands down would have ro say National Lampoons Christmas Vacation . I just love that movie.
I’ll watch whatever classic movie is showing and I also watch all the movies on the Hallmark channels.
I don’t watch TV much any more but it used to be Love, Actually
My family always watches Christmas Vacation and the Polar Express every year together….I always try to watch The Christmas Shoes
Office Christmas Party – it’s so raunchy but hilarious. I also always watch the original cartoon grinch
My favorite holiday movie used to be A christmas story. But with having younger children it is now quickly becoming the animated version of the Grinch. (the newer one)
None of the classics are on TV anymore but always did frosty, Charlie brown, the grinch etc when they were on when my kids were younger
I like charlie browns christmas
It’s a wonderful life Black and white version
My favorite holiday movie is The Polar Express. There is a great deal of sentiment attached to it for me. We took my son to see it when he was very young when it released in IMAX. He absolutely loved it. We all did. After that, we made watching that movie a bit of a holiday tradition.
Not entering because I have these books.
It’s tradition for my family to get together on Christmas Eve at my parents house and we watch a Christmas story. I live in Cleveland and the Christmas story house is in Tremont so it’s about 20 minutes from my house. It’s probably pretty embarrassing that I’ve never been to it. I always find that these things are disappointment in real life. But a few of my brothers have been and they think it’s pretty cool. So I should probably go.
I know that movie by heart. It’s so good.
Elf is another one of my favorites. And bad Santa is really good. I love Billy Bob Thornton. He is an amazing actor and that movie is so funny. And The supporting cast is amazing
But other than that I don’t really watch Christmas movies. A Christmas vacation is good. Of course. That’s probably it
White Christmas, The Santa Clause, Krampus, and Christmas with the Kranks
I Definitely have to watch National lampoons Christmas vacation and how the Grinch stole Christmas every year.
My favorite Christmas movie that I watch every year is How the Grinch Stole Christmas
My favorite holiday movie is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. That movie cracks me every year.
So many favorites! So hard to choose, ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE is a classic I can’t pass it up if it is on. I also love ELF.
Die hard! Bring on the argument that it’s not a Christmas movie….
I also love home alone, how could you not!
Santa Claus: The Movie was always my go-to every Christmas. Unfortunately I haven’t seen it in years.
Krampus is my favorite holiday movie. The 2016 version is my favorite, but I try and find other versions I have not seen.
Die Hard most definitely
The Nightmare Before Christmas. I love this movie. And while it’s not a traditional holiday movie, I watch it every year.
I absolutely love so many. But one I really love is santa clause with Tim Allen.
Enjoyed the Bossy Brothers. Getting ready for a one week cruise in the Caribbean. Lucky me.
My go to is Elf, but my family loves to watch holiday movies. Die Hard is definitely on the list!!! Home Alone, Love Actually, and The Christmas Story are some of my favs.
I like watching Elf, Home Alone, and the Nightmare Before Christmas.
We watch It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story every year.
The Holiday and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
A castle for Christmas is my favorite
Grinch – Even though he tries to make Christmas go away I like how in the end he comes around and sees the true meaning of Christmas and how his heart grew
We watch so many holiday movies during the season, but the first one we watch every year is Home Alone 🙂
Mine is The Santa Clause 🎅🏻 and How The Grinch Stole Christmas ⛄ I watch them both every year on Christmas🎄
My favorite is it’s a Wonderful Life❤️
I watch them all. But I always try to watch Trapped in Paradise. I don’t know why it never made the Christmas List of movies but it’s hilarious. Nicholas Cage, Dana Carvey, Jon Lovitz, Florence Stanley…it should make the A List! And then I also watch Funny Farm because I LOVE when they turn the town into Norman Rockwell Christmas town.
Love Always!! While You Were Sleeping, It’s a Wonderful Life & Bridget Jones Diary are tied for second place, really really close to first. (I can’t swear it’s Christmas time when Bridget and Marc finally get together at the end, but the lights are all up and nobody says differently so it’s on my list).
I do love Die Hard too..it’s absolutely a Christmas movie.
But my favorite and it wouldn’t be Christmas without seeing “electric sex in the window”..So A Christmas Story for the win
There are actually three of them…not hard since they seem to be in constantly throughout the season…The Polar Bears, Christmas Vacation, and Home Alone. Those are the top three but, I enjoy so many of them!
Happy Holidays, Julie 🎄🎁🎄
One of my favorite Christmas movies is an old John Denver made for tv movie called The Christmas Gift. Obviously not a great quality etc; but I just love it.
I also enjoy Christmas Vacation, and Holiday Inn; which isn’t specifically a Christmas movie either, but another great movie
Just one… no we have a whole string we watch. Of course at least one of the Die Hard movies. Christmas with the Kranks and Elf for the sheer joy. Bad Santa and Krampus for the darker humour. The original Black Christmas which is such a hoot because of how dated and inappropriate it is.
By far Elf, but I also love The Family Man with Nicholas Cage
I always watch Home Alone but I absolutely love all the cheesy horror Christmas movies
I try and catch the Nightmare Before Christmas every year. I love the Tim Burton narration style.
White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney,
Home Alone and The Grinch
I tru to watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas every year with my kids.
Die Hard and Miracle on 34th street. Though I secretly watch Hallmark movies.
The only movie I try to watch at Christmas is Wizard Of Oz . Every Christmas day in England the BBC would show it and the whole family would sit and watch it’s it always brings back memories of family Christmas around the TV. Other than that that here in America I always live to watch A Christmas story I live this movie too
Rise of the Guardians
And Arthur Christmas 🎄
These are our two must watch Christmas movies!
Christmas Vacation, The grinch that stole Christmas (Jim Carey version) and Jack Frost
White Christmas for romance or Eight Crazy Nights for Comedy. Maybe even throw in a little The Santa Claus movie with the grandkids.
White Christmas!
Die hard, just kidding. My favorite holiday movie that I watch every year is Home Alone part 1, I think it is hysterical.
I don’t watch many Christmas movies but I usually watch Rudolph every year.
I don’t usually manage to watch Christmas movies. Too busy. But I’ve always liked the old claymation Frosty and Rudolph movies.
For us, it’s Elf, Home Alone, and the Santa Clause. We have been watching a new Christmas movie every night tho. It’s our favorite time of the year!
My daughter loves Elf. I always want to watch It’s a Wonderful Life.
My favorite is White Christmas. Of course I would watch it in July if I had a chance! I also love It’s a Wonderful Life.
I always watch DIE HARD while wrapping presents and drinking some wine 🙂
Miracle on 34th Street is the one I try to watch every year
I love A Charlie Brown Christmas. We always watched this as a family because my dad was a HUGE Peanuts fan. Now I always watch it to remember him – it will be 4 years on Christmas Eve that he’s been gone.
I also love Elf, Die Hard, and It’s A Wonderful Life.
Love Actually, Elf & The Holiday. (And yes, I usually do end up watching Die Hard too.) 😀
I have two that I never miss. Charlie Brown Christmas & It’s a Wonderful Life.
Miracle on 34th street any version i love them 🎄♥️
I have a few! A Christmas Story, Holiday Inn, Elf, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (the original 1983 TV movie with Loretta Swit and Fairuza Balk).
The little drummer boy
It’s a Wonderful Life
I am not much of a fan of holiday movies or books. Christmas has been really hard for me since my grandpa passed. Even though he has been gone 17 years now loosing him just a few weeks before Christmas has ruined it for me. It’s not the same with out him. But, I do love Die Hard! Of course it’s a Christmas movie. I also like A Christmas Story. When I was a kid we watched it a lot! It was my brother’s favorite and I’m pretty sure still is.
I always watch Christmas Vacation while wrapping presents, and we always watch Its A Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve as a family.
My favorite holiday movie i to watch is The Holiday. I also like to watch Elf, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Klaus, and Rise of the Guardians.
My favorite Christmas Movie is Elf.
My favorite holiday movie I love to watch every year is Babes in Toyland. The Keanu Reeves n Drew Barrymore version from back in the day. And The Night They Saved Christmas, the one with Jaqueline Smith. I loved watching them as a kid. Also I love watching Gome Alone, The Santa Claus, and Elf
Of course, Die Hard but my favorite is ELF!! because “I love smiling. Smiling’s my fave!”
Funny you talk about Die Hard. I just asked my hubby if he thought Die hard was a Christmas movie first he said NO. It’s a guy movie. Then I asked if it was during the Christmas season. He said yes. I asked if there were Christmas decorations in it. He said yes. So I asked again. He said ok I’ll give it to you but, it’s a guy Christmas movie. (Eye Roll). My favorite is Holiday Inn. I used to watch it every Christmas Eve when it was on way back then while wrapping gifts. I still watch it along with White Christmas.
My favorite Christmas movie to watch is the 1951 version of “Scrooge,” a British adaptation of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol.” The version which was released in the USA was titled, “A Christmas Carol” and starred Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge. I’ve seen almost all the versions of “A Christmas Carol”/”Scrooge” movies, but this one is my favorite! The 1938 version starring Reginal Owen isn’t too bad either! Of course, I love all the newer holiday movies like Die Hard, Elf, Home Alone too, but I tend to gravitate to the older films like “A Christmas Carol” and “White Christmas” with Bing Crosby & Danny Kaye. I guess they just bring back lots of happy memories watching with my parents who are now gone.
My partner is obsessed with the grinch so that’s always a staple in our home at x mas. Idk if it’s controversial or not but I love watching the Harry Potter moves around x mas too.
Also love elf and the santa clause movies
My son and I have a whole list of must watch movies every year:
– Nightmare Before Christmas
– Home Alone
– National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
– Die Hard
– Elf
Nightmare Before Christmas or the animated version of The Grinch I think.
My favorite holiday movie is Holiday Inn. Its a classic, old movie with great songs.
The Grinch
White Christmas!
I have a whole list of Must watch Holiday movies but my Favorite is Home Alone.
It’s A Wonderful Life is my all time favorite absolutely need to watch every Christmas. I usually do end up watching it about a dozen times though.
We just watched Die Hard the other day!
I love National Lampoons Christmas Vacation but we also now love to watch Noelle that came out in 2019 it’s super cute
“It’s a Wonderful Life” is forever my fave. Makes me feel good and I always shed a tear or twelve by the end. Thanks!!! P.S. I loved this entire series.
It’s so hard to pick just one. If I had to pick one it would be It’s a Wonderful Life. It reminds me to be humble and count my blessings. Just because things aren’t going the way I think they should doesn’t mean I’m not blessed or that my life isn’t progressing how its supposed to.
The Santa Clause! I loved it growing up and now my kids love it just as much! My husband would say Elf though.
We have a long-standing tradition of watching White Christmas while decorating our tree. Then we know it’s really Christmas time!
I always watch A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and Home Alone.
One of my favorites is When Harry Met Sally. It’s not all Christmasy but they figure out they love each other during Christmas/New Year’s and it’s usually on during this time.
I love watching Home Alone with my kids and we’ve ade sure to watch it every single year. It’s funny because I don’t even have to ask to watch it because they ask me. I’m also a sucker for Hallmark movies. I do have a confession to make. I’ve never seen Die Hard and I’m in my late 30’s so I should have at least watched it once right!? Nope, but I think this should be the year I do.
Miracle on 34th Street. I love every version from the first to all the remakes.
Home Alone and Christmas Vacation – those are my very favorites!
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is our favorite and the Grinch
A Christmas story. I don’t think it would feel like Christmas unless I watch it every Christmas Eve.
I have to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas every year and then Elf.
Jack Frost and How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carey are my top favs. I have so many.
I always watch the 1951 version of A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim several times during the holiday season.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas – I love Jim Carrey!
White Christmas.
I have several but the first that came to mind is White Christmas.
“Coat of Many Colors” with Dolly Parton. My oldest granddaughter loves this show, so we always watch it together.
I have 2. White Christmas. And Cinderella Story Christmas Wish. Though the Christmas Wish I will watch anytime I need a feel good movie with music I like. But White Christmas is my favorite since I was a kid
Well of course Die Hard is a must see for the holiday season. Then the next must see is It’s a wonderful life. I like watching Home Alone for a few laughs.
I lobe The Santa Claise movies!¡!
Definitely Die Hard… I have watched the first two movies a handful of times already!
The Holiday! My husband and I watch it every year on Dec 23 and make ourselves some Christmas fettuccine <3
It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th and Love Actually!!
A Christmas Story and It’s a good life.
Thank you 😊
I have two I watch every year. A Christmas Story and the Christmas Carol. The one from the 1950’s with Alister Sims. Love them!
I’m sorry it’s not Die Hard even though that is a good movie. My favorites that I watch every year are
“Miracle on 34th St” and “It’s a Wonderful Life” I also always watch “The Sound of Music” even though I know it’s not quite a Christmas movie.
Can we really pick just one? I can’t. In order for me:
1. Christmas Vacation
2. The first Santa Clause movie with Tim Allen
3. Home Alone 1 and 2
4. Elf ( somehow Will Farrell gave us something that could potentially become a Christmas classic)
5. The stop-motion classics
6. Christmas rom-coms
There so many good Christmas movies that I happily watch every year. I love Scrooged, Die Hard, Home Alone. Always looking for a new one to add to my list
Harry potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone!!
ELF!
A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacstion, Home Alone, and of course have to watch Die Hard no matter when it’s on!
Christmas vacation, Christmas story and Home alone. I also like polar express! ☃️❄️🎄
We watch the grinch, frosty, Rudolph, Santa chronicles, Jack frost, and so many more every year. We just do holiday movie marathons.
Elf
Ah FUDGE!…My family always watches the Christmas Story marathon on TBS Christmas Day.
Die Hard!!! It IS a Christmas movie.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carey is my ALL time favorite. Watch all the time. Another one i like to watch is A Miser Brothers Christmas.
Elf is one I never miss. I love the movie The Family Stone with Sara Jessica Parker. It’s set at Christmas time. It makes me laugh and cry every time.
As much as I would love to say Die Hard I have never seen it. However starting every October the Harry Potter series is on repeat and of course hands down favorite is Home Alone but the first one not the others!
I am totally a “Die Hard” is a Christmas movie!!! I do have to watch Christmas Vacation Thanksgiving night and several times throughout the season. 🎄 Cheers!!!
Home Alone and Die Hard
My favorite that me and my husband watch each year is Bad Santa
Sooooo funny very inappropriate but I love it 🤣
Christmas Vacation is the only one I watch every year
I love to watch Love Actually.
Home Alone
It’s A Wonderful Life with Christmas Vacation close second
Christmas Vacation
Definitely Die Hard
All of the Harry Potter movies. And must watch Home Alone, and the cartoon How The Grinch Stole Christmas
My family loves to watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation every Thanksgiving to start off the holiday season. Of course we watch it several more times before the New Year!
I love to watch A Christmas in Connecticut
I have a rather unconventional favorite. It’s called Donavan’s Reef, it’s a John Wayne movie set at Christmas on Hawaii. I watched it with my father when I was young. My father passed away 30 years ago this year, but every year when I am wrapping presents I put the DVD in and watch the movie and think about my dad.
I have a couple- Elf and Christmas Vacation
I always watch the Harry Potter movies, kind of nostalgic as it was something I watched with my kids. Love watching The Holiday also but definitely the Grinch both live action and cartoon!!!
It’s a wonderful life
Elf and Love, Actually
My kids love to watch Polar Express and I found Polar Express themed personalized t-shirts. I love It’s a Wonderful Life. And Die Hard is definitely a great Christmas movie.
I do the whole Santa Clause series every year. I love Tim Allen
My favourite movie is It’s a Wonderful Life. I watch it every year and it gets me every time.
Of course, Die Hard is a Christmas Movie. Who does like watching Bruce Wills in it?
There are several Christmas movies that I love and look forward to watching every year, but my all-time favorite is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. I love how Clark truly wants to give his loved ones the perfect family Christmas, and it makes me think about and laugh at how my family and I have experienced many of the conflicts and issues that the Griswold’s encounter. Thankfully, our mishaps were no where near as over the top as the events in the film. I always cry at the part where Clark is watching old home movies while he is locked in the attic because his movies look so much like the home movies my dad took, and I have tons of happy childhood holiday memories. 🎁🦃 🎄🔥🐿️👮♂️🌌⭐❤️
My favs are Christmas vacation and home alone.. although I wouldn’t turn down Die Hard.
Elf and the Polar Express. Love both of those!
As a kid we watch Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer every year. I still find time to watch these because it brings back such fond memories. But the one that is my favorite and I have to watch every year is Scrooged with Bill Murray.
I’m weird I watch Xmas horror movies like black Xmas ect ..
I have a few…Christmas Vacation, Home Alone and Elf.
My favorite movie of all time is It’s a Wonderful Life. I have to watch it every year. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Love Actually – it ain’t Christmas til that’s under our belt. “Where’s me fu**ing coat”
Definitely home alone. It makes me laugh every time!! And my kids actually watch multiple times a day.
My favorite and this the traditional now. While we are eating dinner in Christmas days we are watching in 24 th the Home Alone 1. In 25th Home Alone 2. In 26th the Home Alone 3. :)):)):)):))
All time favorite is It’s a wonderful Life. Honorable mention: A christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and the old Scrooge. I will watch Die Hard anytime it’s on! Also my favorite Christmas book to read is Ford. It gives me all the Christmas feels. Merry Christmas!
Home Alone!
The Holiday (not just at the holidays but anytime I need a boost 😊)
The first Home Alone movie is the one movie that my whole family will actually sit and watch every year. We will have cookie and hot chocolate sometimes even popcorn while we watch it.
I have a few favorites and How The Grinch Stole Christmas is on the list (the one with Jim Carrie). The Polar Express, Home Alone and Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer!
As a kid I knew the magic of Christmas was near when the commercial of Santa riding the Norelco razor and the stop motion films of Rudolph, Frosty, the Grinch and Little Drummer Boy were eagerly awaited. I always tried to catch them every year, then many years ago found them on DVD so now can watch every year. Let the Christmas season begin! Now if Santa would just get back on that razor life would be complete……..💖
My favorite Holliday movie is the muppet Christmas Carol. I’m a sucker for anything muppet related.
Home Alone and Elf are an automatic rewatch every year for me
Four Christmases
Die hard and home alone.
Scrogged is an all time favorite. But we always watched all the Christmas cartoons also for the kiddos and my ex loved die hard
my all time favorite Christmas movie is Elf. I just enjoy watching it with the family with all the laughs.
I really don’t have one particular one but I remember as a kid back in the day we always watched Jack Frost and Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer.
I love the Die Hard movies and Nightmare Before Christmas. We just watch what is there.
We always make sure to watch the Grinch.
I’ve been watching The Wizard of Oz every Christmas season since I was 5 years old…so that’s 63 years of Judy Garland making me cry. That first time I watched it, my
Mom asked me why I was crying during Somewhere Over the Rainbow and I told her (sobbing) “Because it’s so beautiful!”.
Rudolf, Frosty and the Grinch are a must see every year!
My favourite holiday movie is Naughty or Nice which is an older Hallmark movie with Hilary Burton! It has the right amount of snark & cuteness too it!
It Happened on Fifth Avenue
❤️🎅💚
I love to watch The Christmas Shoes….my family and I watch Christmas Vacation and The Polar Express every year.
Christmas Story! Never gets old! The house is in the county I live in.
Movie we watch every year is “Nestor the Long-Eared Donkey”. It makes me cry every year, how much him mom loved him. Dang it! I’m crying now thinking about it. It’s one of those Rankin and Bass films. So good.
I try to watch A Christmas Story every year because it reminds me of my mom & dad.
National lampoons, Christmas vacation, so hilarious
I don’t really have one I try to watch every year. Most of mine are favorites from when I was a kid or teen and I am not sure if I would still enjoy them now if I sat and really watched them. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and Love Actually are two I would say that for. My mom loves to play A Christmas Story and exclaim over our favorite parts when we were younger but we don’t really watch it beyond bits and pieces, but I enjoy watching her be happy over it.
Die Hard is definitely a Christmas movie, and I have the T-shirt to prove it!
It’s a Wonderful Life and White Christmas are classics for me, and my adult children always put on Muppets Christmas Carol.
The Santa Claus with Tim Allen I enjoy the second one the most
☃️🎄🎅
My husband will insist on Die Hard and National Lampoons Christmas. The grandkids and I already did the Grinch twice!
White Christmas. I love the music and dancing. The best the little ballerinas at the end.
Yes, I’ll agree that Die Hard is a contemporary favorite, along with Home Alone. But the one movie I’ve always watched around the holidays, ever since I was a very young child, is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. And every once in a while (when I’m fueled by competition) I quote Gene Wilder’s “You get nothing! You lose! Good day, sir!” Some people get the reference, and others just think I’m being rude (which always just makes me giggle a little).
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation! It has been a tradition for over 20+ years. Thanksgiving day or the next day. We put up the Christmas 🎄 and watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation!
It Happened on 5th Avenue
Or Die Hard
White Christmas. I use to watch it with my dad every year.
My husband always insists on Die Hard and Lampoons Christmas, but the kids and I always do the Grinch.
I’m going to go find Holiday Switch!!
I usually try to get in Elf and some of the cartoons. I saw Love, Actually for the first time last week and enjoyed it despite how ridiculous it was 🙂
Ohhhhh I love Christmas movies . There are so many I watch . But some of my favorite are Elf , Fred Claus, Gremlins , While you were sleeping .
Of course its DIE HARD! 🙂
While Die Hard is pretty great I always look forward to Miracle on 34th St (1947).
Nightmare before Christmas. My daughter and I watch it together and sing along 🙂
Was gonna say Die Hard! Haha but you put that there so… gotta choose something else so will say Love actually.
We have a few that we watch every year – The Polar Express, White Christmas, Elf, and Home Alone.
Merry Christmas ya filthy animal!
Movie? White Christmas. But the favorite show to watch for this time of year is Charlie Brown’s Christmas. I love the message it gives
Die Hard – of course!
Most definitely DIE HARD but also MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL.
My favorite movie is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
I have to always watch Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story
Bridget Jones diary. It’s not a pChristmas movie, but it has Christmas scenes.
I love Will Ferrel
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
Die Hard and Home Alone of course!!
A Smoky Mountain Christmas with Dolly Parton and Lee Majors
Die Hard Of Course 😉 &
A Christmas Story
My favorite Christmas movies are Miracle on 34th Street all the versions! They just make me happy!
Die Hard, Prince, Home Alone, usually several thruout next fre weeks.
Grinch not prince
White Christmas
Was my grandma favorite
Goodness this actually kind of difficult. Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, the most recent Grinch, Elf, Christmas with the Kranks. Just to name a few! Lol
Hallmark movies
My movies i watch every Christmas are all The Christmas Carol’s, all The Miracle on 34th Streets and the kids Christmas movies. (Rudolph, Santa Claus, Frosty etc)
The Polar Express
Sadly, I really don’t have a favorite Xmas movie. I do like Die Hard and ELF, but just don’t go out of my way to watch them each year. I’m not really a big movie person.
Christmas Vacation!!!
I LOVE LOVE Die Hard. It turns into a massive debate here. But yes Die Hard
The Santa Clause
The Grinch movies cuddles up with all my kids!
I like the original Christmas In Connecticut in black and white. I love the, for that era, modern farm house and the plot of the lady pretending to be a Martha Stewart type, but she doesn’t really have any domestic skills at all. I always wish that I could have a farm with a house like that.
The Santa Clause and Elf
I have a few favorite Christmas movies. I usually try to watch The Grinch, This Christmas every Christmas plus some other favorites as well as new movies that they make
Any version of A Christmas Carol. In up watching A Christmas Story all day on Christmas too.
My favourite holiday movie is A Christmas Story because it brings back memories of when I would watch it every season with my mom & we would find new parts of the story that were hilarious.
Definitely How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey, and if they play Home Alone 1 and 2, I’ll tend to watch those as well. And for my bonus point, if they also put on Die Hard, I’ll probably watch that, lol 😆 Thanks for the chance 😁
Home Alone
Nightmare Before Christmas (its a Halloween and Christmas movie, no matter what ANYONE says)
How The Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey! One of my all time favorites!
The Christmas Story!! Every year like clockwork. 24 hours on Xmas Eve
Polar Express! I’ve watched it since i was a kid and it’s still an absolute favourite of mine.
Die hard for sure and the old school movies like the year without Santa Claus
Honestly Die Hard is really it, with the exception of the short animated films of Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer, and Frosty The Snowman. They are classics! I’m 55 and still love them!
Ok First I will answer the question, and I have several. I have to watch them with my kids of course, and they are Polar Express (while drinking hot choc of course), How the Grinch stole Christmas (Jimmy Carrey version) Elf, one of my favorite Christmas movies. I also love to watch All of the other Christmas movies out there new and old (AKA “Hallmark” movies. I think Holiday in Handcuff’s and Santa Baby are 2 of my fav’s). But second I have to say the Bossy series is probably the dearest to my heart, because it is what introduced me to JA Huss. And I have read almost every single story since. I still have a few left to go, but I am getting there. My Fav series so far is the Rumble and the Glory, but bossy has a special place!
Of course it’s Die Hard. I try to watch all of the Die hard movies if they are on.
It’s A Wonderful Life and White Christmas are the movies that I’ve been watching since I was a little girl. It’ll be a little tough since Mama is gone but it was a tradition she started so I’ll keep it going.
Home Alone 😂
Frosty the Snowman is a favorite.
We always start on Thanksgiving with Planes, Trains and Automobiles and never forget Die Hard!
Oh my so hard to just choose: It’s a Wonderful Life, Christmas Vacation and of course Die Hard.
My favorite holiday movie is The Santa Claus. I love Tim Allen!
Not really a Christmas movie afficionado, but I do stop to watch Elf and It’s a Wonderful Live when I happen across them <3
“The The The Grinch!!!” My girls and I always watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas every year.
My favorite holiday movie is a Christmas Carol with George C Scott. It was one of the first books that I read with the entire class, then we were shown the movie. Its been my favorite since. I also like the new show featuring Santa’s landing crew elves called Prep and Landing.
I have 2 favorites the first is
The Most Favorite Time of the Year!! and the other is
A Boyfriend For Christmas !!
My husband and I have a Christmas Day tradition of watching The Ref with Denis Leary and still laugh at it every year!
It’s a Wonderful Life and the original Miracle on 34th street and they must be in black and white..
I love Die shard! But one of my favorite Hallmark Christmas movies is “Finding Christmas”!
I love the Polar Express and now so does my son. We love watching it numerous times from Thanksgiving on.
A Christmas Story.
Christmas Vacation
Christmas Chronicles is a new favorite for us.
A Christmas Story is traditional to watch every year. I actually bought it so I could watch it over and over. Classic movie! However, I also love the Disney Christmas movies too.
A Charlie Brown Christmas. I missed it this year. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Of course, Christmas would not be complete without A Christmas Story. My 27-year-old son will find any Christmas movie he can find and force us to watch it. I can’t complain. It gets you in the Christmas mood.
I would definitely include Die Hard as a holiday movie but my favs are really anything Harry Potter that runs on the holidays.
I watch It’s A Wonderful Life every year. I love that movie.
Die hard for bonus points 😆 It’s a Wonderful Life is my every year movie
Die Hard Julie…Lol 🙂 My husband made me watch it this year!! It’s a great movie too!!
I do not have just one favorite so I watch a lot of Hallmark and always watch Harry Potter.
Every year I HAVE to watch the Jim Carrey version of the Grinch! It’s my absolute favorite! And of course have to say all the lines along with the characters!
The Santa Clause
Thanks for the chance!
In December I do my own holiday watching advent calendar. I watch a holiday movie, episode or special each day. I started with Die Hard!
I love Elf and the old claymation Rankin and Bass productions.
I love to watch The Frosty the Snowman cartoon
I am a Die Hard fan of Elf. It makes me laugh!
Since Elf was released, that’s my gotta watch holiday movie! 🍿
Before that it was Home Alone, because of my kids. And before that it was a tie between Miracle on 34th Street and It’s a Wonderful Life.
Now, with streaming, I try to catch them all.🎄
The Holiday and The Family Stone.
A Christmas Story! (but yes, also Die Hard, lol)
John Travolta’s Miichael, and also Christmas Vacation.
I love the Chevy Chase National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Frosty the Snowman!!
Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer!!
Those are my top 3!!
The original Christmas Carol movie. I think it’s from the 1940s. It’s black & white and kinda of weird and creepy, but love it.
The one movie I try and make sure and watch every Christmas is Elf or The Holiday or Love Actually.
I watch A Christmas Story every year!
Scrooged with Bill Murray. I love Carol Kane in this.
It’s a Wonderful Life!!! 🤗
Charlie Brown Christmas
The one holiday movie I always try to see is Elf.
Christmas Vacation and really a thing cheesy on the Hallmark channel. 😂 Die Hard is a no brainer
Home alone and A Christmas story
I’m a child of the 1950s so, obviously, A Christmas Story is the movie I most relate to. I watch it every year.
I’m a child of the 1950s so, obviously, A Christmas Story is the movie I most relate to. I watch it every year. It’s my favorite Christmas movie.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY MOVIE THAT YOU TRY AND WATCH EVERY SINGLE YEAR? Probably Elf. Whenever its on the TV, we just watch it. I know Xmas is here when it’s on and I just love it. Elf reminds me of all the old Christmas stop motion movies I would watch as a kid. We would scour the TV Guide, circle all the movie like Rudolph and when they came on, I would lay on my stomach, head propped in my hands and watch as my mom studied.
I know those classics are still on but they don’t capture me like Elf does.
The movie my family normally looks at is Elf.
White Christmas
It’s a wonderful life. It’s such a good story. I watch it every year. A very close 2nd is the original Rudolph.
I don’t really watch holiday movies every year, but I do love Die Hard!
My holiday movie favorites are from Halloween… so Hocus Pocus and Nightmare Before Christmas (which is technically a Christmas movie)
Santa Clause the movie
It’s not a movie but every Christmas Eve I watch Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas. I have been watching it every Christmas Eve since I was a kid and I love it!
My favorite holiday movie I watch every year is Frosty the Snowman. And of course I’m a romance kind of girl and anything on hallmark channel
Love Actually, or The Holiday!
Santa claus (Tim Alllen) all of them.
And the Christmas Chronicles 1 & 2 ( love Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, Overboard is a favourite of mine ) ❤️
Die Hard is a good one! We watch Home Alone every year! Such a good movie.
ELF! I mean, c’mon… Will Ferrell & a cranky James Caan? I can’t turn away!
Love Actually! My husband and I love that movie and we try to watch it every year!
Watching Die Hard every Christmas is a MUST in our family! I will fight anyone that says it’s not a Christmas movie!! Ggrrrrr! Lol. The first Die hard is my favorite, of course, but I can’t lie and say that I don’t love the other 4 movies as well. There’s just something about John McClain that a woman can’t help but want to watch! ;);)
Merry Christmas everyone. Xoxo
The year without a Santa claus
Christmas Vacation is a family fav on repeat every year. I also love The Twelve Dates of Christmas with Amy Smart. Such a fun movie!! I put that one on while I’m wrapping gifts. 😊
Christmas Vacation!! My daughter and I can quote the whole movie!! “you serious Clark?”
We have a couple we watch every year. We always start with A Christmas Story. We also watch Christmas Vacation, and then Die Hard.
One of my favorites is The Nightmare Before Christmas!! I’ve always loved it and watch it from Oct- Dec! Now my daughter (5) loves it and as we decorated for Christmas we were singing “making Christmas, making Christmas” 🎶
I’m probably partial to the first few Harry Potter movies. It reminds me of lazy winter breaks with my boys. The still indulge me every year.
Die Hard for sure!!
Every year I have to watch polar express. But I also try to make sure we watch the classics like frosty, Rudolph, and Charlie Brown
Miracle in 34th Street & The Nightmare Before Christmas
Elf, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Christmas Story
I have to watch the old classics like Rudolph and Frosty every year. I also love the Santa Claus movies with Tim Allen
We like to watch The Santa Clause with Tim Allen.
Always our go to holiday movie is The Grinch 🙂
Diehard is at the top of the list (because IT IS a Christmas movie) but my absolute fave is White Christmas.
elf
I always try to watch Scrooge at Christmas time the 1970’s version of the movie, because its a musical.
The reason is because when we were children my sister Karen loved it and we used to watch it together cuddled up on the sofa..So it always reminds me of my sister.
Thankyou so much for the Chance. xx
Well in all honesty die hard is ONE of the movies I watch every Christmas. I have a list lol
1. Elf
2. Scrooged
3. Die Hard
4. Gremlins (yes it’s a Christmas movie)
5. Jingle all the way
Miracle on 34th Street and A Christmas Story.
The Muppets Christmas Carol is my must see every Christmas Eve ❤️
Miracle on 34th Street is my favorite. I like Grinch and Elf also.
A Diva Christmas Carol. It come out in 2000 on VH1. Vanessa Williams is the lead. I just love for some reason.
I have always watched Scrooge with Albert Finney. It came out in 1970, 2 years after I was born. My parents loved musicals and we went to see local plays and musicals each year at an outdoor amphitheater called Dogwood Dell in Richmond, VA. The Dell is iconic. Families bring blankets and picnic baskets and wait for the show to start. My oldest son loved the song “Thank you very much” so much when he was little that my mother bought him a top hat from a costume shop so he could dance around the house imitating himself dancing on Scrooge’s coffin and singing that song. Both of my sons are grown, but they always expect that we’ll watch this version every year during the holidays. My husband watches the Christmas Story every year. The best thing about that movie is that lamp. It’s a metaphor for so much.
A Christmas Story I also like Christmas Vacation.
Holiday tradition = It’s a Wonderful Life. I have the DVD and it has to be the original not the weird colorized version! LOL
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and The Santa Clause with Tim Allen.
For me it would we The Grinch….
Hi There!
My favourite holiday movie growing up was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. The nostalgia of it just made me happy and think of Christmas!
However as I’ve gotten older my favourite movie to watch is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Christmas time has become harder to get through in recent years, so watching this movie always makes me laugh. There are so many hilarious and genius scenes. I love it!
Happy Holidays!
Sarah
.
White Christmas and the original The Miracle on 34th Street
Holiday
It’s a wonderful life, a Christmas carol, Christmas vacation.
The Ref with Dennis Leary. To me, the funniest Christmas movie; The Snowman – Animated Short from the 80s; The Nutcracker with Mikhail Baryshnikov (77); The Nightmare Before Christmas; The animated Grinch with Boris Karloff; While You Were Sleeping with Sandra Bullock.
Diehard
My husband and I watch every one of the classic Christmas movies but out absolute favorite that we never miss is “It’s A Wonderful Life”.
My absolute favorite movie is The Santa Clause with Tim Allen in it.
While sadly I want to say die hard that’s not it I love it’s a wonderful life with James Stewart and the old Rankin/Bass specials Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jack Frost, The Little Drummer Boy ect.
I honestly don’t have one.
I like to watch Christmas with the Kranks.
A Christmas Story
lol, mine is the Grinch 🙂 Jim Carrey’s version is my fav, but I honestly love all of them. Just something about a grumpy/sunshine combo that gets me every time!
The Holiday
The Santa Claus with Tim Allen series. Mainly the first one. And It’s a Wonderful Life which we watched yesterday. I love all the cartoon classics as well.
There are so many movies I watch each year. Elf, Princess for Christmas, and Snowed-Inn Christmas to name a few
I actually have 2 holiday movies I try to watch every year by Christmas Eve and they are It’s A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol (the one with actor George C. Scott from 1984) I am old school for some reason on my holiday movies. My Grams would watch them and she passed that love of these two on to me so much so I used to have an imaginary friend that lived in my ear as a child named Clarence from Its A Wonderful Life but he looked like a blue smurf in my mind (I had a lot of ear infections its a long story of how this happened LOL)
The Grinch, Frosty the Snowman, and White Christmas
Home Alone, I watch the collection a few times every Christmas season
I always have to watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation a few times. Home Alone would be my next favorite 🤩
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. He is so misunderstood. He has a heart He just had a bad childhood.
White Christmas
When I was a little girl It’s a Wonderful Life would play on tv on any given channel at any given time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Watching Jimmy Stewart play George Bailey always warmed my heart! My mom and I used to watch that movie so often we had all of the lines memorized. That movie is an integral part of our holidays.
In recent years we’ve adopted a second favorite movie that we found on TCM called It Happened on Fifth Avenue. It’s a lighter hearted story but still delivers a meaningful message.
If you haven’t seen either of these classic movies I highly recommend each of them! They’re great for all members of the family. It’s a Wonderful Life may be a little darker when the main character loses all hope and contemplates suicide, but all works out in the end. Also, for those wishing to see Mr Potter get his due Saturday Night Live does a great skit of the Baileys getting their justice. (If you catch the SNL holiday program be sure to watch for the Talk Radio skit featuring Schwetty Balls. It’s hilarious!)
I like The Night Before, it’s newer and fresh. Die Hard definitely gets watched every year as does Bridget Jones Diary. I love Colin Firth!
Every year I try to watch the Frosty and Rudolph cartoons from my childhood. Now I try to make my son watch it with me too lol
Home Alone
Die Hard for sure. Also Rudolph, Frosty, and Santa cartoon classics.
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (AND Die Hard)
The Santa Claus and Christmas Vacation.
I have to laugh a little because I gave my son-in-law a Die Hard Tshirt for his birthday in October so he could wear it throughout December. He loved it! And of course we talked about it being a Christmas movie. And it’s a favorite of mine, I have already watched it. But another favorite is Miracle On 34th Street the black and white version…I guess it’s the original one., Home Alone is up there too! The Christmas Cronicles, the first one was a great surprise how much I loved it! 😍
My favorite Christmas movie that I do watch every year is Christmas Vacation! Thanks for the chance!
I have a few ‘must watch’ every year. Love, Actually, Christmas Vacation, The Year Without A Santa plus any and every Christmas movie that Netflix wants to stream.
I really love Die Hard, Elf, Wonderful Life…. but I just watched Black Doves and I’m recommending THAT this year for something new and thoroughly entertaining!
There are 3 that I always watch. First is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. It makes me laugh at the silliness of the comedic scenes, yet it still delivers messages we need to focus on during the holidays. My second watch is Polar Express. The cinematography is incredible and Tom Hanks is perfect in his role. The message it delivers makes me cry every time. Lastly is It’s a Beautiful Life. It’s a tradition I’ve continued since I was a child. It wouldn’t be Christmas without it. ❤️
I have three How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, and Home Alone.
Believe it or not but it’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” for me. I watch it for Halloween and for Christmas. I love Jack. 😍
I have a couple of favorite Christmas movies White Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Elf is shown on TV every year and I never get tired of seeing it.
Well, since I’ve been a mom, Home Alone and The Grinch lol
Favourite holiday movie: home alone
Christmas Vacation oh yeah and …Die Hard!!😁
Miracle on 34th street. The best!
We like The Christmas Card.
I like to watch Home Alone. Thanks.
I make it a priority to watch It’s A Wonderful Life every year. I just love that movie. Also I have to watch Miracle on 34th St the original as well.
My favorite holiday movie is White Christmas and then I have to watch the Wizard of Oz. I don’t know why but those are my go to holiday movies.
Two movies I always watch during the holiday time: Holiday In Handcuffs, and The Christmas List; love these two movies, I do not tier from them, it is not Christmas, unless I watch them, which I will be doing today 🙂
We watch Home Alone every Christmas Eve. And Christmas With The Kranks on the 25th of December. 😍 Thanks for the chance!❤️
We watch a couple of movies each year but Home Alone is probably our current favorite as the kids love it. Other movies in our roster include Babes in Toyland, Gremlins, The Family Stone, and The Holiday.
My favorite holiday movie is The Munsters Scary Little Christmas. It’s a whole new cast but I love how they kept the essence of the show with the fun, humor and love that the Munsters all have for each other. They all worked so hard to give Eddie the best Christmas and Santa helps them throughout the movie and Marilyn finally finds love! It’s just the best!
I always watch Elf with my grandson.
The grinch! Me and my kids favorite. Home alone is second.
Love the Grinch
Elf and Grinch
I love all the old school claymation movies. My favorite is the very obscure Life and Adventures of Santa Claus
My family has a tradition of watching the Muppets Christmas Carol every Christmas Eve but I think I might have to add Spirited to the list. The dancing and music is sooo good. It’s my new favorite
It would be Annebelle’s Wish. The cow animation movie from years ago. Plus I watch Gilmore Girls. It’s not Dec till I rewatch that series.
Of course I grew up watching Die Hard every year. Lol. But I also grew up watching Its a Wonderful Life and that was always my fave and still to this day. But I do love to watch all the good Christmas movies personally.
It’s a toss up between Miracle on 34th Street and Home Alone.
A Christmas story is my favorite because the scenes look beautiful. I hope I win. Thank you. 🙂
I love to watch Home Alone,
Nightmare before Christmas, and the how the Grinch stole Christmas and polar Express
Christmas Vacation! I love the squirrel scene. Toooooo funny! (Home Alone and Die Hard are a close second and third, of course!)
The Holiday and The Grinch
Die Hard and Home Alone Marathons….Christmas must watch for me.
Scrooge’s! Love that movie!
I can’t always find it, but I LOVE the movie Holiday (1938) with Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn. It’s a screwball comedy set around Christmas/New Year. Hilarious and with awesome banter.
If I can’t find that, I usually watch A Christmas Story. It’s sufficiently bent that I never tire of it, lol.
My favorite is A Christmas Story.
For me it is Mrs. Brown’s boys Christmas specials. For my youngest son. It is Jeff Dunham Christmas special
Miracle on 34th Street and all hallmark Christmas movies lol
Honestly, I typically DO say Diehard when someone randomly asks me. My son says the same, as I shared the movie with him once he was old enough. (I mean, it’s great, but it’s NOT for three-year olds.)
Elf is my actual favorite, though. It’s a family tradition to watch it every year, ideally on Christmas Eve. Our oldest son’s girlfriend hates it, so not sure what we’ll do about that…
I Have a few Polar Express & Nightmare Before Christmas work the kids and A Christmas Story for me
I try to watch the santa clause as well the series the santa clauses. And next year and every year after I will be adding The Red one.
Haha! Definitely Die Hard. Then also because I love action, scary and horror movies, Violent Night.
Home Alone 1, The Polar Express and This Christmas
it’s a wonderful life
100% I’m with you, Die Hard is my favorite! Next would be National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation 😀
Die hard is the one we will re watch the most. We also always re-watch all of the Lord of the Rings movies including the Hobbit movies every Christmas season.
Hocus Pocus for all the holidays
Oh I agree with Die Hard!! Also the Grinch, Harry Potter and The Holiday is my favourite romcom
DIE HARD, not much for the sappy ones.
We watch Elf every year. Thanks!
It’s newer, but Klaus is my kids’ favorite. We watch it several times during the holidays 🥰
Die Hard
As a family we’re always watching A Christmas Story and Elf. I do think Die Hard is an actual Christmas movie. I’m a big Bruce Willis fan, going back to Moonlighting.
Jack Frost
I’m kind of embarrassed to admit how many Christmas movies I have to watch every year but the TOP ones are Home Alone (1 and 2), Christmas with the Kranks and The Santa Clause. There’s a whole mess of Hallmark movies I watch every year and I’m a dedicated Hallmark Christmas movie watcher and record all the new ones every year. Christmas movies kind of become my second full time job, but they make me happy so whatever.
I have a long list of movies that we watch every December. It consists of over 30 movies. One for everyday in December. Sometimes two or three. We also watch some TV series that have Christmas going on. The one movie I look forward to watching is Noelle.
We watch Polar Express each year, complete with Hot cocoa.
I have so many favorites! How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Year Without a Santa Claus, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and the Prep and Landing cartoons on Disney. These are just the top ones. I’ll watch just about anything holiday related lol
Home Alone is our favorite. We watch it every year.
Die hard, we watch all the movies, I think there is 5 now. Yippee ki yay MF 😝🤩
A tie between Elf and The Year Without a Santa Claus.

Miracle on 34th Street (1994) with Dylan McDermott is one of my favorites. I also love The Grinch.
We always watch A Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve. And of course Die Hard is on our list (it’s a Christmas movie!)
My favorite movie ti watch during the holidays is Office Christmas Party. It’s just so funny.
The original Miracle on 34th Street with Maureen OHara, the Christmas Chronicles 1 & 2 on Netflix are good too. Daughter’s favorite is Rudolph so i watch it a lot too.
We try to watch the grinch every year as a family and all the other cartoon Christmas movies.

I love watching White Christmas and Elf every year. As a child, we would watch A Christmas Carol every Christmas Eve, very late at night, while we wrapped gifts for extended family.

The Grinch!!
Elf the movie.
Elf and The Grinch with Jim Carey
We always watch Frosty the Snowman, The Grinch, Die Hard, and the original Star Wars trilogy (4-6). If we can catch A Charlie Brown Christmas, we watch it too.
Die Hard is most definitely a holiday movie. The one I probably watch the most is Christmas Vacation, but I discovered The Holiday a few years ago and it’s a cutesy romance movie that I like and watch when it’s on.
the hopeless romantic that i am, i try to watch love actually every year lol just getting happy vibes! but i also bombard myself with hallmark christmas movies starting november haha
Extra Points for Die Hard! Also Shrek, Home Alone, Frozen and The Polar Express

Home Alone and Die Hard!
A Christmas Story
Classic! Who let the dogs out?!
All of them. I love everything Christmas!🎄
I watch Home Alone every year because I remember my mom and older sister taking me and my nephews to see it on the big screen when we were kids and how loud the boys laughed causing everyone around them to roll. I watch Jim Carey’s Grinch and Nightmare Before Christmas all year long because my niece sees no reason to deprive herself the rest of the yeat.

I watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Both the original version & the newer cartoon one.

Will always be Charlie Brown Christmas.
I did watch Die Hard but I love The Family Stone.
Die Hard is my hubby’s favorite Christmas movie & I do love watching it with him, but my favorite is Jack Frost with Michael Keaton & Kelly Preston!❤️❤️
The 1951 version of A Christmas Carol. I watch it every year on Christmas Eve while I wrap the last of the presents
My all time favorite Christmas movie, is an old TV movie titled, It Happened One Christmas.
It’s a remake of A Wonderful Life, but with Marlo Thomas in the lead. Orson Wells is the bad guy.
It’s a great movie. I was able to get it on DVD years ago, from some company that could get hard to get movies.
But every year, we always, always watch A Christmas Story. Takes us back to the good ole days!
My favorite holiday movie that I watch every year is “Der kleine Lord”. It’s a tradition I share with my mom, and it never gets old. The story is so heartwarming, with themes of kindness, generosity, and the power of family. Watching it together has become a special part of our holiday routine, and it always brings a sense of comfort and joy to the season.
I have so many favorites I try to see: Meet Me in St Louis, the 1951 A Christmas Carol, The Grinch (from 2000 with Jim Carey), The Santa Clause 1 and 2, Elf, Christmas Vacation….all the Rankin Bass specials. Then I have also been accused of “torturing” my family with 24 hours of A Christmas Story! That one is one I have to have to see.
My favorite is How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I enjoy both the live action and the animated movies. It has a good message about kindness, and how just one person’s act of kindness can have an impact on some else.
Sometimes, I’m a Grinch.
But love to watch Klaus, The spirit of Christmas (2015) and Love actually.
My husband for sure used to watch die hard! I should watch it for him since he passed away. I need a tradition that I can keep without him. But I have to say that he introduced me to It’s a Wonderful Life when we were dating. Ugh. I had to run to the bathroom because I was crying.
My favorite Christmas movie is Home alone…
My fave Christmas movie is Love Actually. I also watch a lot of Hallmark channel this time of year.

I will concur with Die Hard. As much to my hubs and my surprise our son had never seen the whole movie. Shame on us! So we just watched it a couple of nights ago. Still such a great movie. So many great one liners and Alan Rickman is just so good. Elf is so fun to it’s my daughters fav. Have you ever seen Christmas with the Kranks? Hilarious. I actually really love the old stop motions like Frosty & Santa Claus is coming to town.
Die Hard 1 & 2. Home Alone 1 & 2. Elf!

I actually have a few that I try to watch: Die Hard (no really lol), Home Alone 1 & 2, The Grinch, National Lampoon’s, A Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street and A Wonderful Life.

While you were sleeping
White Christmas because it was my mom’s favorite, and Elf because it’s my favorite.
Elf is one of my favorites!

A Christmas Story!!! “ You’ll shoot your eye out, kid.”!!!!
Oh the disagreements that go on in my household because half of us believe diehard is 100% a Christmas movie and the other half saying no that’s just an action movie that happens to take place during Christmas doesn’t matter though number one, that is, what is played every Christmas in my household!! Yippee-ki-yay mother ******😂
We always watch Home Alone and Die Hard. There are so many though. 😀
Nightmare before Christmas as for one I love Christmas but I’m a little dark so the Halloween feels fit too. And two, it’s my bestie’s favourite movie and although she moved across the country, it keeps us connected x
The Holiday, I love a Nancy Meyers movie.
It used to be Ref, but after the thing with KS I haven’t been able to watch it. Now it’s a tie between the Holiday and Love Actually. Although I love Bruce Willis so maybe this yer I will watch Die Hard
Has to be Krampus! Love the teachable moments and then the scary is my thing.
As a family our favourite is the muppets Christmas carol. My girls are both in their 30’s but we still love it and quote it all year. That is followed closely by the nightmare before Christmas
Christmas in Connecticut
Die Hard LoL 😂, no my all time movie to watch at Christmas time is bad Santa because it’s absolutely hilarious and great to watch while having a few drinks with friends. Thanks for this awesome opportunity and have a very merry Christmas 🎁 i
A Christmas Story. I’m a sucker for this movie every time it comes on.
I don’t usually watch Die Hard during Christmastime, but it’s definitely is a classic. I should! I usually watch several. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, Home Alone 1 & 2, Elf, and Bad Santa. Don’t forget Trading Places! Lol.
It’s a Wonderful Life and The Family Man with Nicholas Cage
Die Hard and Home Alone are our favorites that we have to watch every year.
I do not have a favorite holiday movie. I will watch Scrooged (starring Bill Murray and Buster Poindexter) if I happen to run across it on the television. Also, I’d watch “Feast of the Seven Fishes” as I know some of the movie extras.
Not my favorite genre of movie. Nightmare Before Christmas if I gotta pick.

Mine is the original Grinch movie!
Definitely The Grinch. I love that movie so much and I am one too. I love Christmas, it’s just people I don’t really like.
I try and watch It’s a Wonderful Life every year.
Ok, how about Die Hard 2…no, I like Die Hard better. Romantically, Love Actually
I honestly don’t have a movie that I must watch every year. I do enjoy The Santa Clause and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I tend to watch a lot of random holiday movies on Netflix and Hallmark.
It’s a Wonderful Life. Even more amazing when you know the backstory behind James Stewart’s tears.
100% DIE HARD!! I love that that’s your answer too 🙂
I hate to admit it but, I love the Hallmark movies. And the Grinch!
I like the oldies so they are Holiday with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn plus Meet Me in St. Louise with Judy Garland
I like to watch Home Alone, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Die Hard. I also enjoy watching Hallmark movies.
My favorite is Jingle all the way. I also really like Christmas in Connecticut.

I’m obsessed with watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (except for the part where the kitty dies 😢).
The Flight Before Christmas – Ryan McPartlin, Yum!! 😍
Thanks so much for the spectacular gifts in the giveaways!! God Bless You!! ❤🙏🎄
I don’t really watch TV, so I don’t usually sit down to play with us. But Die Hard is great go to show.
Miracle on 34th Street.
I actually have quite a few of those now – one of them, The Christmas Card
White Christmas. I used to watch it with my Gram every year. It always reminds me of her.
Okay… Maybe this is really weird, but I’m just not one to watch movies on Christmas. I will say, growing up, my family would gather around the tv to watch Miracle on 34th Street, on Christmas… I have always loved this movie and as an adult I know I’ve watched it at least a few times on or around Christmas. Also, growing up, I remember my family watching The Sound of Music
on or around Christmas. And I don’t know why I happened to watch these two particular movies on Christmas, but I did: Chocolat (Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp) and Moulin Rouge (Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor ) — I have a memory of watching these movies, on Christmas, as a one time deal. Maybe they just happened to be on tv? I don’t know? I do really like both of these movies but they are not my “go to” favorite Christmas movies. Like I said, I’m really not a “watching movies” on Christmas type of person. Does this make me weird? Maybe. LOL. Thanks again Julie for this awesome giveaway and for the opportunity. Happy Holidays!! 🎄❤️
Die hard, die hard fan!!! Seriously!!!
Christmas Vacation. Because we are the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse lol.
We alwys watch Elf!
The Nightmare Before Christmas and Love Actually!
Umm Die Hard..🤣. No, it’s really Christmas Vacation
Christmas Vacation!
I have to watch Elf and Home Alone with the grandchildren.
It’s got to be Home Alone
Christmas Vacation or Elf. It’s a tie.
All of the Santa Clause Movies.
I like to watch Elf.
I have to watch White Christmas every year.
Elf
Well DUH, Die Hard, LOL. Kidding – with having a 5-year old, we definitely make it a tradition to watch The Polar Express and The Nightmare Before Christmas. We’re heavy on movie nights so we’ve introduced her to ELF and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which she absolutely LOVED.
This one’s easy: Dinner for one. It’s an old short movie that I watch with my mom and we wet our pants laughing.
Mines would be either Elf or Home Alone. Love both.
Nightmare before christmas and the new ones on hallmark
The Holiday movie that I try to watch every year is Prancer. The little girl Jessie just tugs at my heart, she has so much goodness and belief in the goodness of people. It’s heart warming and also sad. Her father played by Sam Elliott os very gruff , but means well.
Elf and Home Alone 1 & 2 are my favorite holiday movies. I’ll be watching them again on Christmas with my kids. I’m so excited!
Charlie Brown Christmas, Polar Express, and Elf are my 3 favorites to watch at Christmas
Christmas Vacation all the way!
