If you’re new to this – here’s how it works:
1. Each day from December 1 through December 12 I will put up a new giveaway HERE on my website with instructions on how to enter, a detailed description of the prize, and some stuff about the book or series. Each giveaway is different and each has ONE WINNER. MY GIVEAWAYS ARE ALWAYS OPEN INTERNATIONAL
2. Each giveaway runs UNTIL DECEMBER 13.
3. Winners are CHOSEN and NOTIFIED on December 14. I will be notifying winners USING THE EMAIL USED TO COMMENT ON THIS BLOG – and all winners will BE LISTED AT THE TOP OF EACH GIVEAWAY POST HERE ON MY WEBSITE on December 14.
4. Winners have 24 hours to respond, then another winner will be chosen.
5. ALL PRIZES WILL BE MAILED ON DECEMBER 15. If I’m waiting on a winner to respond and they miss the December 15 mail date, that prize will be mailed when I get around to it. I live in the middle of nowhere so a trip to the post office is a “thing” for me. 🙂 So make sure you’re checking for winners on the 14th.
6. I will send newsletters announcing giveaways on December 1, December 6, December 12, and a Winner newsletter on December 14. I NEVER send this many newsletters in a month so sorry if that feels spammy.
7. You can also FOLLOW MY BLOG. I will also make a blog post HERE announcing ALL WINNERS on the 14th. If you want to follow this blog there will be a form at the bottom of each post to do that. Then you get an email when I POST HERE. I don’t do that often – December is the exception because of the 12 Days and my yearly “Wrap-up” post.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

TODAY’S BOOK HIGHLIGHT IS IN TO HER!
TODAY’S GIVEAWAY IS AN ANGST-Y DARK EROTIC ROMANCE WITH AN UNEXPECTED ENDING.
When AJ and Logan walked into Yvette Nightingale’s bar they didn’t expect to be there long. They certainly didn’t expect to be dancing with her, or having sex with her, or spending the night with her after getting snowed in at her mountain top bar.
Because they were sent there to kill her.
Not fall for her.
Not feel sorry for her.
Not want to take care of her, or protect her, or be in to her.
But sometimes people enter your life for a reason. Sometimes they even enter at the very moment you need them most. And Yvette Nightingale needs AJ and Logan.
She needs them even more than they need her.
In To Her is 320 pages of dirty smut, fantasy scenes with erotic toys, MFM and MMF ménage, and an angst-y HEA that will leave you guessing until the very last page. (This is not a love triangle).

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ‘TROPE’ IN A BOOK?
MY ANSWER
I don’t know that I have a particular favorite but I like a lot of tension and angst. So I like Enemies to Lovers (or Enemies to Friends). I like books that move along as far as plot goes. And I lot a lot of mystery – but I don’t read mysteries. Not that kind of mystery. I like puzzles in books. And twists. I also *really* like when the main character (most of the times it’s the male MC) is an Outsider and ends up being three steps ahead of everyone else and pulls off a con. I really cons. But I prefer the ‘Loner Con” to the ‘Team Con” but if we have to have a team, then I like the team to all be Outsiders.
So I guess I like, angsty, twisty books with a lot of conflict between the anti-social Outsiders. 🙂 WHICH ALMOST PERFECTLY DESCRIBES TODAY’S BOOK, IN TO HER, and I swear I didn’t even mean to do that. lol
HERE’S A SNEAK PEEK OF TOMORROW’S GIVEAWAY!

I like twisted repomantic suspense, with strong heroines and heroes. There has to be something to solve and if that mystery transpires over multiple books I’m ok with that.
I don’t have a favorite. What I do love is that when I’m reading the series and you feel so invested in the characters. Then you listen to the book and you are wow. Did that happen. Then you are waiting for the next book. While you are trying to imagine what the characters look like. The story, the world created, the mindfuck
I love books I can get lost in. Like when I have to stop reading, I’m like oh damn I just left a different world. Goodness please let me go back. Romance, mystery, some sci-fi, and thrillers. Put two or more together and I’m really worthless in real life.
Any, it depends on what mood I’m in, but usually it’s romance & then paranormal/fantasy
Love this book and 3-2-1 both keep you hanging to the very last minute, if you’re listening to them. Also love the Rook and Ronin, Spencer, Ford and Company books and that they all have a HEA. So I think my trope must be whatever book of yours I’m reading currently is ❤️
I like a lot of tropes. I don’t know that I have a favorite. It is more the plot, I like a good build up, angst and suspense, some mystery is good.
My favorite trope is Enemies to lovers.
Right now all I want is why chose, usually dark bully and seriously alpha males. Sometimes I need sweet why chose but thats what I like right now.
Enemies to lovers is a favorite. A Little criminal activity with revenge. I prefer a good mind fuck. Like Meet me in the dark.
My favourite is enemies to lovers with a twist and turn along the way.
I don’t have a favorite trope. I do like romances where the couple that gets together was originally unlikely to do so.
I love reverse harem but my favorite is anything involving Ford!!!😍😍
I love sexy mysteries with all the twists and turns
Why choose/Reverse harem!!
My favorite trope is MC & Sports romances !
Second chance romance is my all-time favorite. I just love that scene where the couple (or more) see each other again and hopefully the author brings across the shock, the longing and the love that is still there.
Thanks!!! This prize features one of my faves of yours.
Enemies to Lovers is definitely my fav trope!!!
So many! Depending on mood lately it’s why choose/reverse harem or second chance romances.
I love a good paranormal/shifter story but I love the MC genre a lot.
I have a few I like. I don’t know that I could choose just one. I love just about anything that grabs me and pulls me in. I love the get away from reality it gives me.
I love reading so many tropes, but I tend to be drawn to forbidden romance, dark romance and reverse harem.
Enemies to lovers will forever be my favourite trope 😍
Anything dark and twisty. Today’s book is a perfect example. MMF was the icing on the cake lol
I love all genres and tropes, but love a great mind bender which is why I love your books so much. Always so twisted
I love suspense, lots of twists and turns moving the plot forward. Even better when a character is under cover, all sneaky sly with a big reveal at the end.
Enemies to lovers is one of my favorites but I e been on an age gap kick lately!
Usually I go for Enemies to Lover but I like all of them
I love a good age gap. But really, the more taboo and dark, the better. I used to be a paranormal romance-vampire-reader but now, I read it all.
I love a good friends to lovers.
Enemies to lovers is a favorite. A Little criminal activity with revenge. I prefer a good mind fuck. Like Meet me in the dark.
My favorite trope in books are Enemy to lovers, good girl /bad boy, Mafia, dark romance, Age gap & Angsty. In to Her was my first audiobook and I loved, now I love audiobooks.
Thanks
Martha L
If I had to pick a favourite trope it would be a loner reclusive MC with mystery, plot twists & lots of steamy scenes where the characters own their sexuality & of course with an HEA. Pretty much all your books suck me into the plot & I am totally immersed in the story and the outcome!
I also love angst so I like to read enemies to lovers- but the type of enemies that say/do things that you wonder how they could grovel themselves into lovers.
Second Chance love is my favorite trope.
I love banter, so enemies to lovers is my favorite. I love the tension and wit.
Such a tough question for me. I have ADHD so my interest in tropes depends on the day. It would be much easier to say what I don’t prefer. Lately though it’s all been dark, deadly, multiples, and spicy enough to break out in a sweat, and sweet historical romances.
Explains why Hubs calls me Contrary with such sweet affection.
My favorite trpe is dark mafia/Bratva romance.
Oh I love me some surprise babies and friends to lovers, especially when the friends need some convincing. Happy Holidays and thanks for the chance.
I usuallyli!e Harris or the age gap romance and sometimes a goid mystery so in other words I don’t have a favorite but like a few tropes lol.
I love all tropes but one of my favorite trope is fated/ rejected mates
There are a ton I really like, but the one I tend to gravitate to the most is enemies to lovers. I just can’t say no to that one.
What a hard question to answer. I have a few go to tropes.
Mafia
Billionaire
Enemies to lovers
Menage
These I alternate between. I don’t like reading the same thing all the time (why I alternate) an it must have a storyline. I’ve read some just all sex. Not my thing. Don’t get me wrong I love the sex part but I need a story which is what I get from Ms. Huss which I’m thankful.
My favorite tropes are good girl/bad boy, MC, age gap, enemy to lovers. I love a good plot where I can’t predict what is going to happen. I like mystery, angst, romantic suspense. I like to be surprised.
Don’t have a favorite, like too many to have a favorite
I like a lot of tropes and read depending on my mood. I am more about a fantastic plot with twists and turns that keep you guessing and flipping pages. I like dark and gritty. Great characters that you fall in love with.
I love any book I can get lost in I love when they take me to a different place and wrap me up.
Favorite Trope: Single parent, grumpy/sunshine, bodyguard-needing protection
Favorite trope used to be Enemies to Lovers, however now I don’t really have a favorite but like all the angst, heat, tension and steam but really love it when the woman comes out on top and the Guy isn’t always the hero.
Favorite trope theme is victim triumphs
I love them all but enemies/friends to lovers if I have to choose. Thank you 🎄🎄
I love absolutely loads of Tropes. O especially love mafia why choose romance 😍 but I love a mixture. Merry Christmas everyone ☃️ 🎅 🎄 thanks so much ♥️
I guess mine is romantic suspense. I read paranormal, contemporary, fantasy, & historical. Anything that is romantic suspense. The more angst & drama adds to the enjoyment.
Enemies to lovers is my favorite.🔥❤️ Thanks for the chance!💕
I don’t have a favorite troupe. I like angsty, twisty, hero/protector storylines. Not apt to read age gap, school/sport/rock star books. I like to really connect to characters.
I read a lot of rom coms at any time because when can’t you use a laugh… but as long as it’s romance the trope itself doesn’t matter and it doesn’t have to be comedy. Sometimes I crave mystery or dark or drama. I just pick up whatever I’m in the mood for at the time and if I’m in a reading slump or moody mood it’s rom com to pull me out of it.
I like enemies to lovers. The push and pull
I like angsty mystery with fated mates.
I like lots of different ones. I like stepbrother, friends to lovers, bi awaking, Mafia…I could go on and on.
I’ve always liked friends to lovers. But I also really like frienemies to lovers.
I love being surprised, not being able to figure out the ending.
My favorite would have to be enemy’s to lovers.
It very much depends on my mood and lately it’s been a twisty, dark romance, especially when I find myself staying, I did NOT expect that!
I like enemies to lovers, but any well written romance hits the spot. The more twists and turns the bei.
I’m pretty much all over the place regarding tropes. I don’t get ‘shifter’ books; so I avoid those.
I guess my favorites are with a HEA. I love epilogues and hate bonus epilogues when you have to subscribe to the author’s newsletter to get it. I want it, but I’m done with subscribing. Ok, that may not have answered your question, but there it is.
Personally I love anything Julie.
This was one of the very first books of yours that I ever read, and my go-to if I need some sexy times reading.
My fav genre is dark romance. I enjoy age gap, motorcycle, mafia, historical, edgy, fantasy, reverse harem and more. My favs are the ones where you get lost in the details of reality. Just like a ja Huss book!
Anything age gap!
I’m not sure I can pick a favorite. I like to read them all but right now, I’d say I like second chance stories.
I love all tropes lol. I have yet to find one I don’t like!
I love a good enemies to lovers, especially with a lot of build up!
I don’t have a particular trope I enjoy above others but what I really enjoy is a series of books where I watch a character(s) develop over the course of time. Whether it’s a personal development or the character has a mystery to solve, I just love to stay with characters through several long books.
I like several genres, Age gap
Secret baby and dark Romance
I definitely like there to be twists and conflicting moments. I want that to take place with strong characters. Some mystery is also good.
I like a lot of different styles, but yea, the one I always come back to is the “Enemies to Lovers”. The spicier the better for me lol. But I do love that tension in the beginning that later gets resolved. I have to limit myself of these books sometimes because if I start one of these book, I will NOT stop reading until the tension works out at least some… SO many sleep deprived nights! lol!
I love sweet romance with friends to lovers and a big ol’ age gap 🙂
This is one of my favorites. MMF angst and twists
I love this book! I like a book that I can’t guess the end. I love twists in a story. This book it a great example of all that!!
Enemies to lovers is my fav! I love the struggle lol
Suprise pregnancy or single dad or touch her and I’ll off you. But I read everything!
Enemies to lovers with no whining and ongoing angst
My favourite thrope is MMF, the more complex, the better. I also have a sore spot for friends to lovers genre especially if they are slow burn stories.
I love enemies to lovers. The fights, heated arguments, going out of their way to be mean or vindictive at first, pushing away but pulling in at the same time, I freakin love it! I love angsty, dark, protective, love triangles (MMF preferably)… I think it would be easier to list what I don’t like. Lifetime movie kind of books are not my jam. I need all the feels from frustration to desire to hate to fear to straight up fucking to darkness to love. (I may need therapy, heehee) That’s probably why the Creeping Beautiful series is my favorite set of books I’ve ever read. When I say favorite, read that as obsessed.
I like to have some mystery in the story. I like trying to predict from clues. I need to have characters that I can route for in a story. I also like assholes who change because of personal growth.
My favorite trope is enemies to lovers. I love the moments when they each realize they’re attraction to each other.
I like enemies to lovers.
I like sex lessons, and if it’s the MMC that’s inexperienced, so much the better!
I go thru stages but my fav this past year was bully hs/college extremely dark romance. Many of them included mafia families. Some were RH. Others just explored the differences bet the (generally there would be either 4 or 5 guys as a group; brothers; blood brothers; etc) and each had their own personal torment with which to deal.
I don’t really have a specific trope. I enjoy reading all genre’s of books. I will say that I tend to lean more towards biker, and bully types of books.
My absolute favorite trope is enemies to lovers. The tension, the build up, the spice and makes for a fantastic romance novel when the main characters come together. I also enjoy forbidden and age gap and dark romances.
If I can’t use fantasy or paranormal romance, I would have to go with taboo or forbidden.
My favorite troupe is basically anything by JA Huss. I love your books. They are dark, mysterious, angst, twisty, holy cow never saw that coming, cannot put down, and still hea. I have read 30 of your books Julie and have yet to find one I did not like. Thank you again for the chance. Merry Christmas to all.
I don’t know if I have a favorite. I think enemies to lovers probably.
Love when the “bad guy” really ends up the good guy and gets the girl!! Enemies to lovers too.
Romance and fantasy
I also love Enemies to Lovers trope most of all, following how characters go from I Can’t stand you, to I kinda like you to I can’t live without you is very captivating for me. This is why I love your books so much, you write these kinds of relationships so well.
Enemies to friends \lovers is always good. I like when the main MC is a grumpy cop or single Dad needing a nanny. Age gap is also good, but the female MC , for me, needs to be over 21.
Yeah I honestly don’t have a favorite either. But enemies to lovers is always fun.
I love friends-to-lovers trope.
My favorite tropes are enemies to lovers and siblings best friend.
Loving forced proximity and fake bf/fiancé lately.
Enemies to lovers. I love mystery with twists and turns. Unexpected WTF momentos. Which you Julie are the queen of that.
I love anything with Mafia boss, vampires, and menage.
Enemies to lovers, but I’m really liking grumpy/sunshine too.
I love enemies to lovers add some dark and twisty and it’s perfect!!!
Enemies to Lovers is still my ultimate favorite! And omg Mafia is becoming a major favorite!
I love enemies to lovers. Love how thry go from hating each other to tearing their clothes off
I love a siblings best friend or enemy to lovers.
I think you said it best. Anti-Social Outsiders. I like them with a big brain, smart mouth and dirty intentions. I also want it twisty with a, Oh my god I didn’t see that coming” moment. So I just like everything you write!
I don’t care what tropes are involved, but I don’t care for unimaginative cookie cutter books. I want an intriguing, original, unpredictable story with interesting, imperfect characters dealing with life’s challenges and unconventional or complex interpersonal relationships. A book should make me FEEL something…happy, sad, angry, shocked, disturbed, disgusted, horny, joyful, whatever. Bonus points if it is weird, dark, and/or twisted. I don’t even care if it ends with a HEA. Sometimes a HFN or mostly happy ending is enough for me. JA Huss always exceeds my expectations!
Friends to Lovers
Enemies to lovers! Nothing better haha
I love mafia, enemies to lovers, I love them all lol I don’t have a particular trope but those 2 are pretty much my fav
My favorite troupe is “secret baby”.
Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope
Definitely has to be Enemies to Lovers or Fake Relationship.
I like romantic suspense, especially when some tough hunky guy thinks he’s got to protect a smart woman who ends up saving him. So what would that be maybe a twisty frienemies to lovers.
I don’t really have a favorite trope. I love a good build up, a great plot and of course some twists and turns that only Julie can do!
I love them all. The first time in read a mmf book couple was by JA Huss. I am surprised i liked it as much as I liked it. Everything depends on how I’m feeling at that moment.
Ahhhh In To Her one of my all time favorites! 😍 My favorite tropes are enemies to lovers, age gap, & hurt comfort ❤️
idk if this is a trope but anything with RH, Daddy kink, or breeding are my favorites
Definitely enemies to lovers. I think it’s the level of energy feeding the relationship that amps up the relationship excitement.
My favorite is MC. I also like a good enemies to lovers or secret baby/single dad.
My favorite is secret baby
Small town, second chances, single dad, military hero and surprise babies. Merry Christmas. Thank you for the chance
second chance romance
My favorite Trope is a touch of the paranormal ( not too out there), for example someone who seems to have a way to calm wild animals down, or can see flashes of future events.
Small town, second chances, single dad, military hero and surprise babies. Merry Christmas, everyone.Thank you for the chance.
Dark and twisty, surprises (hate when I guess at beginning where story is going), and sprinkled with humor.
Enemies to lovers, I love all the angst
Apocalyptic romance
I don’t know what trope it would fall into but I like MMF with a lot of dark twists and turns some S&M is enjoyable as well.
My favorite trope is anything you are writing! But enemies to lovers is a go to.
I love all different “Tropes”, but if I have to pick one it would probably involve single parents and secret babies.
My favorite is Enemies to Lovers. Love the angst and back & forth banter.
I read lots of tropes and enjoy them but I think paranormal/fantasy is my favorite with a good plot. Some sort of problem, beside being a vampire, shifter or monster, to resolve.
There are many I enjoy, but, ENEMIES TO LOVERS!!!!! I’m an enemies to lover lover.
Enemies to lovers
I don’t really have a favorite trope. I love them all. I just prefer HEAs so that I don’t feel heartbroken in the end. It doesn’t have to be all hearts and flowers, but I do like knowing ahead of time that the angst and travesty have a purpose, even if it takes a couple of books to get there.
I love a book with a twist or two that I cannot figure out before the end. I love to think I know what’s going on only to have my mind blown. Extra points for creepy darkness or really good dark comedy thrown in! And of course a love story to accompany it all, even if it’s not spicy or romancey.
I tend to gravitate toward enemies to lovers or friends to lovers.
I love extra-twisty in multiple books. Like the whole slew of Company books!
I love them all. My favorites are paranormal, mystery, suspense.
I love enemies to lovers best!
I don’t have a favorite trope. I love, love, love twists and plots that are totally unexpected. I also love super strong female characters, and guys that fall head over heels for the girls. I love the banter and interaction between all characters. That’s why I’m so attached to Julie’s books. One tiny secret though, the spicy scenes are not so important to me. I love the story and how it unfolds more than anything.
I love almost all tropes
Enemies to lovers for sure 🙂
I love a nice antsy book with some age gape. Plus I do love a good enemies to lovers as well. Thanks Julie ☺️
I like twisty books as well, and enemies-to-lovers is a fav of mine.
I think I’d choose enemies to lovers – lots of scope for some crackling dialogue.
It’s hard to pick just one. (😁). But I love a strong male dominant confident until the woman they want turns them all around. I love mystery, spy plots too with HEA and HOT sex
I love a good dark twisty story so enemies to lovers is always fun but forbidden romance is my guilty pleasure like brothers best friend or the older person you’re not supposed to be attracted to, always so much fun!
I am still trying to figure mine out! I love super unique story lines that *could* happen IRL, but I also will dive into a great sci-fi or fantasy when the mood strikes. I love Cinderella stories, and stories with love triangles where an evil third wheel is trying to sabotage budding soulmates. I am also a huge sucker for a great rock star or sports romance. And of course, always a fan of friends/enemies-to-lovers.
I like it all!! Like everyone else the plot twists and unexpected are the best, love a good mystery, turn of events, and lots of lust!
Love MC trope. FC to not be beautiful and put together. She’s sheltered not too good or bad, she’s struggling. MC to be strong, tough but edgy not on the right side of the law. Kidnapping and some force, maybe even cruel and HEA not a fairy tale, but love. Wow maybe I need therapy! Quite the eye opener when you write it down lol!
Secret society hands down! Mostly due to the company lol
I love all different kinds of tropes but they definitely need to have some twist and turns , good suspense is also a plus. Your books are that and so much more!!
Oh I love enemy to lovers as well. But like most anything as long as it’s HEA. I also like shifter/vamp stories where they find their fated mates.
I like so many types of books, but suspense seems to be what I read most. I especially love romantic suspense. I love books with great characters and setting that are either real or based on an area that I could visit.
I like so many different tropes and genres but I really like a book that builds tension and excitement.
Oh man, Julie, this is my all-time favorite book of yours, and in my top five favorite audible listens. I really, REALLY want to win this giveaway. 🥰
My favorite trope is when the lead male character is one who really walks the line between good guy and bad guy, the one where the reader is forced to question his intentions and motivations, and we doubt whether he’ll find a way to win the girl. Or guy. VERY much like in to her!
Honestly I do not have e a favorite troupe in a book. As.long as the author can give the characters a lot of depth and tell the story in a way that makes you feel (whether that is happy, sad, mad, passionate, frustrated or any combination thereof), it is a good story. Only a good author will take you for a voyage where they can bring you around to love (or at least understand) the character you hated, cry for the person who is the strongest or laugh with the character who was at their bottom on page 30 and by page 400, they are smiling in bliss.
Tbh all, I am definitely a mood reader. But lately loving hurt/comfort.
Enemies to lovers
Slow burn, enemies to lovers, forbidden and forced proximity!
I love age gap and grumpy/sunshine.
But I enjoy any trope.
Definitely romance! Enemies to lovers is definitely one of my favorites
I have always been into Menage or Poly.
Merry Christmas to all 🤶 🎄
I don’t have a favorite trope, but I love variety. I’m surprised I picked one man to marry because choosing one thing of anything is very hard for me. My life choices are a toss up. LOL! I guess I do have some favorites since you are my favorite author, Julie.
Some of your questions have been difficult for me to answer but this one is simple!!! My favorite trope is soul mates. More specifically the mentally messed up MMC who thinks he doesn’t deserve or want to be loved then finds his soul mate and fights an inner battle with himself. Ford Aston is my all time favorite character and Tyler Morgan is a close second..
I have to say enemies to lovers my favorite.
I guess I really just like them all.
I love second chance tropes
Always romance but open to the type.
Just tell me a good story from your mind, JA Huss, bc you always have me hooked at some point! Doing something you love brings out the best in you!
My favorite trope is age gap. I like an older guy with a younger girl in almost every story. I also like MC and Mafia stories. I like finding a group of friends in which I can see myself, well not my real life self but a cooler more interesting fictional self.
I like twists, too. Reading the Rook&Ronin series was perfect with the group of friends and its twists.
I really enjoy enemies to lovers, most especially in a romantic suspense type setting.
I don’t have a specific favorite, it just depends on my mood, but I definitely prefer variety. One of many reasons that I love you as an author is that, whatever my mood, you’ll have an amazing world of characters and stories to discover, or revisit over and over again.
I love romance with a little mystery is a bonus!! I think that’s why I love your books so much is I get a little of both worlds!! Enemies to Lovers is one of my favorite tropes but I really like them all. I just love to read and anything with spice is a double bonus!!
Enemies to lovers!!
Love all tropes it just depends on what mood I am in to which one I choose to read at that time & thanks for the chance 🙂
Enemies to lovers
Enemies to lovers is a favorite.
I love a friends to lover or a surprise pregnancy.
Any type of romance
Danger and mystery, and mistaken identity, oh my!
Menage or Poly
My favorite trope is enemies to lovers or dark romance. I’ll buy those instantly
I like all the twist. So many romance books are cookie cutter and boring (which I enjoy sometimes). I like when you can’t predict where the book is going. I don’t always need a HAE because life is not always HAE.
Dark mafia and RH
I tend to read a lot of psychological thrillers, and they can either have a romance or not, it doesn’t matter. But I like the way you explained what you like, because that is what I like also, when someone is many steps ahead of the characters, and even the readers and towards the end there’s this big AHA moment when it all comes together.
My favorite tropes are second chance romance, small town romance, enemies to lovers and fated mates! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I love a possessive alpha male, one or both of the main characters are a bit broken but piece each other together, morally gray, some angsty darkness, twisty mind f@ckery. But also love a bad boy/good girl romp.
My favorite trope is enemies to lovers with lots of snark and UST.
Enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, sibling’s best friend. 🤩
alphas
My favorite trope has to be Alpha Male and Omega Female and maybe even reverse harem.
I love a good Enemies to Lovers trope, and recently I’ve really enjoyed arranged marriage/marriage of convenience!
Enemies to lovers for sure! Always a good story 🙂
My favorite trope is enemies to lovers.
I enjoy enemies to lovers and fake relationships
My favorite is kina a combo…small town best friend sibling romance. I love a good suspense too
Second chance and small town
I really like when the hero rescues the heroine from real danger. I like when they buy her in an auction or win her in a card game. I really like the powerful men that are protective, smart and super loyal.
Grumpy sunshine- but if MFM is a trope, that especially. I love when it’s all love. Even if someone is an unreliable narrator about it. :: cough cough Logan cough cough ::
I’m really into enemy to lovers right now, but I’m also really into MC….
I’m such a mood reader that narrowing down to my favorite troupe is hella hard. I would have to say that the majority of my books do have a friends to lovers vibe so if I had to pick one that would probably be it.
My favorite books are usually filled with angst, like the ones you write Julie. But sometimes I need a little fun and something light. Friends to lovers are fun and I always know there will be a HEA.
I like the secret billionaire meets common blue collar for true love. Leave it all out there, family be damned trope.
no particular trope but needs to have angst before they get together
Alpha with suspense and a twist and an HEA is a must and I realize this is not in the trope question but can I get an epilogue please I want to see my people I have stayed up all night losing sleep reading about in a year or two do they have a ranch do they have horses chickens etc.
My favorite trope is a marriage of convenience.
I really enjoy enemies to lovers but I read most all tropes for a good variety.
It’s so hard to choose just one, but if I absolutely have to, I would have to choose second chance romances
Enemies to lovers
Alpha male and MFM
I don’t know if I have a favorite trope, but I do enjoy a good forced proximity story- stuck together in a remote cabin in a snowstorm, etc.
I love wake up in Vegas married.
Hmm, this one made me think, lol! I think unexpected love is probably one of my favs 🙂
Romance with small town vibe or second chances.
I like Mafia themed where there is an arranged marriage and the Heroine is very opinionated and sassy. He may be the head of the Mafia/Bratva but she keeps him on his toes.
I like enemies to lovers
My absolute favorites are Bully, Stalker, Enemies to Lovers, and taboo!!
I like romance/ time travel back in time books
I like most tropes but my favorite would probably be romantic suspense
Oh man, I love them all! I also like some angst, and I do read more dark romance, but sometimes I want light and fluffy. I’m going to have to go with opposites attract or enemies to lovers as my favorite, and if there is some possessiveness in there, all the better!
I love the Mafia arranged marriages, that start out enemies that turn to lovers.
I don’t have a favorite, I’ll give anything a try.
I don’t have a favorite. I love all romance. Hand me a good book and I’m happy.
I really like the enemy to lovers also but I like the gut wrenching storyline you are so good at too Julie. The kind that’s smutty and keeps you off balanced and guessing all the way to the end!
single parent is a favorite
I have to say that I like enemies to lovers the best. The push and pull of it.
I like the ‘small town girl leaves to go to the big city and returns years later to find her high school sweetheart’ trope…even though it’s been done a million times!
My favorite trope is grumpy/sunshiny, either sex. <3
I’m not picky but definitely love twisted, suspenseful, and enemies to lovers for sure. Especially when you are getting towards the end of the story and it’s nothing that you expected.
Twists and edge of your seat and you don’t get the big picture until the end! 🤯
I love enemies to lovers! Thank you for the chance!
This may seem weird, but mine is “down and out” or hardscrabble life- people struggling to survive and get back on even keel. Poor, small towns, etc.
I like friends to lovers! Their shared history and connection just makes their relationship so solid once they past all of the nonsense.
I like most of them, but my favorites are friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, second chance.
Enemies to lovers, also MC and dark romance
I love shy woman/strong man, menage…and any great book that someone likes to recommend
I like friends or enemies to lovers and sometimes secret baby.
Definitely enemies to lovers ..
I have an eclectic taste for books. From rom com to psychological thrillers, mystery and erotica and especially dark romance. I also like non fiction and biographies lol. Some truth stranger than fiction lol.
I love enemies to lovers. Add in military or hockey romance and its a total yes for me.
I’m a mood reader so sometimes I like romcom next time it might be something darker. I just enjoy reading but I do have authors that I try to read all of their books!
This is my favorite Julie book! My favorite trope is MMF, which makes this the perfect book.
Mystery, twists and turns, suspense.
I do enjoy MMF but as long as the story line is good I enjoy some angst a little mystery and a few laughs and tears but I do need an HEA
Enemies to Lovers is my favorite.
Touch her and xx, that’s my favourite troupe
I like the twist I didn’t see coming. I like there to be a flawed character who doesn’t necessarily redeem himself but he proves to be “not as bad” as he was.
I love MMF, but it has to have a good story line and l like a little humour with it. But I must say l love lots of different books, I just love to read. Not many books I start and don’t finish.
Enemies to Lovers is my favourite trope
I love alpha guys with a soft side that they don’t want to admit. A lot of mafia books have that. Maybe because I’m Italian descent. LOL
Enemies to Lovers is definitely my favorite.
I like the outcast comes out on top trope (because highly relatable!). So the girl who doesn’t.think she’s beautiful gets the hot guy, or the guy next door gets the girl, while both get their lives on track and fit so well together. #goals
Enemies to lovers because it can encompass so many different other genres and there tends to be more emotional build up involved.
Grumpy/Sunshine
Enemies to Lovers
I LOVE a good mystery especially when it involves a couple that gets down and dirty when trying to solve it! Frenemies are also awesome too!
It really depends on the mood I am in. I enjoy second chance romances. Also, I like enemies to lovers. Oh, and I wouldn’t say no to a man in uniform.
This book gives me life!!! I recommend it all the time. Until I read In To Her, I did not know I had a favorite trope. This book lives rent free in my mind. I discovered I enjoy MFM and MM. I also discovered I really like spice. But I like my spice how I like all books….I need a plot; a storyline to keep me engaged. Why Choose, MM, boss/employee, professor/student: I am here for them all!
Here lately I love the Why Choose books…but I read pretty much all of them, usually go thru stages as to what peaks my interest. Lol
I love Snowed-In books, I like books with interesting supporting characters, but sometimes it is great to have just the 2 principal characters for all or most of the book,
I like enemies to lovers books with lots of verbal sparing. I also like second chance romance and crazy twists that throw me for a complete loop.
Mine is romantic suspense. I like the intrigue and mystery that’s added to the story.
Paranormal
I like paranormal/shifter and enemies to lovers
My favourite trope is enemies to lovers.
I love a good brothers best friend book! Thank you for the chance.
I like dark and twisty and taboo romances. I enjoy the unexpected.
I like forbidden/taboo and enemies to lovers. I love the anticipation of what’s to come and I always love twisty things, especially if they surprise me because I rarely get surprised in books or TV shows, etc.
So many things I love… single dads, opposites attract (especially if it’s a more outgoing person getting with a more reserved person,) second chances, enemies to lovers. While I like friends to lovers, I hate that the problem is always “But I don’t want to lose you as a friend.” I also really like most anything dark and devious.
Romantic suspense with lots of twists in the details.
This one is hard lol i love secret pregnancy trope.
A slow burn.
I love them all except some fantasy. I love historical Et enemies to lovers. . Younger older romance.
I can only handle so much emotional angst but I’ll take suspense and danger with my romance all day long.
My favorite trope is a good twist ending/unreliable narrator!!
My favorite romance trope is forced proximity. It forces the characters to confront their feelings or issues and allows them to let their guard down and just be themselves without any outside interference.
Love so many tropes! But one of my favorites is time travel 😉
I love them all but mainly Mafia dark romance friends to lovers
I like a good surprise pregnancy or pregnancy pact for a light read. However I like your enemies to livers with plot twists you never see coming.
I’ve been thinking about this all day and all I could come up with was I really like most everything. I don’t enjoy historical or time travel type books, but if an author can draw me in I’ll read it.
I like a book that keeps the plot moving, keeping the suspense going and keeping you on your toes wondering what is next.
I LOVE childhood friends to lovers books!!!
I love when my best girlfriend has a really cute older brother and he has tons of friends. I grew up in that scenario.
I love a twisted plot – I love when a plan works out.
A story that Keeps the suspense throughput is so stimulating. Even if I suspect an HEA I love a story that you are never sure will work out until the end. That is like “In to her” and so Hussian ( not a word I know) she can be sinister in her writing and I love it.
Right before the shutdown, I got into zombie, end-of-the-world books. I am still into those books. I also love the mind fuck books. Where you sit there for a bit and you say wow, what did I read? I love books that have twists and turns, and I can’t figure out the ending before I read the ending. I don’t know if that is a trope, but it’s what I like.
I like almost all Tropes but right now I’m into forced proximity and the bad boy with a secret soft spot.
Enemies to lovers is my favorite.
Forbidden love is probably my face trope.
Forced proximity x Enemies to Lovers. It’s the best! So much angst and tension and deep burn.
I love enemies to lovers also!! There is always so much drama and I love it!
I like a lot of different ones like friends to lovers, small-town romances and second-chance romances.
I LOVE the “Why choose” genre. For example, In To Her, Joey, 3,2,1, and the Creeping Beautiful series are perfect books to demonstrate my favorite genre. Relationships are never easy, but when you add in a third (or more ;)) person, dynamics change. I enjoy reading about the characters and how the story starts, the juicy, dangerous dark middle, where some, but not all secrets are revealed, and then to finish it off with an ending no one could’ve predicted. I LOVE THAT SHIT!!
Anything that Sabastian York narrates! I love his voice. It is soooooo sexy!
I love almost all romance stories but dark is one of my favorite but lately I’ve done a 360 and ready little/ daddy books
I don’t know if I have a certain troupe that I loooove.
I love so many different types- bully, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, romcom, suspense…
I love the Rook and Ronin series, 3,2,1; Eighteen, the Mister Series… just love everything you write!
My favorite troupe is polyamory. Two men loving a woman and the woman loving them, to me is the ultimate test of love. This is my favorite book. It was the first book I ugly cried over. The ending just tore me up.
Second chance
Like all kinds of tropes. As long as the plot is good I’m all in
I like when there is a little bit of suspense in a book
I don’t know if I have a specific trope. I love a good story! I tend to lean towards a bit more suspense with a sexy side. I love angst grumpy alphas that have to work to get an alpha female. I just enjoy plot twists and thinking I know but I don’t really know. lol. Thank you so much again for the amazing chance! ❤️📚🎄
I like a good enemies to lovers time travel mystery 🙂
Thanks!
Hmmm not sure I can pick one, I tend to be more about the plot and also depends on the mood I am in. The plot has to have guts, twists a turns and something surprising.
Enemies to lovers with lots of angst
I really like a good Enemies to Lovers story. I like the angst and the buildup to the love part in my stories!
I like second chance and surprise baby. I love romantic suspense.
My favorites are Forbidden love or enemies to lovers
enemies to lovers
I really like second chance romance, especially ones with a lot of drama and conflict!
I love second chances, but I also read everything. 😅
No favorite trope as much as a preferred writing style. I’m an audiobook fanatic, so if the narrator’s voice doesn’t hit the spot I tend to loose interest.
It all depends on my mood… I can go months with the enemy to lover then switch to forbidden love then over to the anti-hero, in any genre. I do have to say it is easier to say what I am not fond of, …… time travel (missed love…like the ongoing just meet up already kind ) , mafia and political/royalty(but that’s more genre) .. but then………. if it has a good twist or unexpected turn and a good underdog with a hea, i’m in! I love the wow factor…. Harem Station series, for example(just to name one), had that for me …the wow! I loved it.
I know what I don’t like and that’s a predictable storyline, with the exception of who is going to get together, weak characters’ personalities, and plots copied from other books. I like conflict between smart, strong personalities, surprising twists, and complicated storylines so have to really read, and not just skim, the book to follow. If I finish and think, I want to reread this soon so I can pick up the little nuances, that’s a great book!
This is a tough question because I LOVE so many tropes and I like to mix it up so I don’t stick to the same kind of stories.
As long as it is romance then I am willing to read it.
I do Love Rockstar though they are among some of my favourite reads…Enemies to Lovers, forbidden, Mafia,
MC,Hockey, romcom, small town, age gap, forced proximity, Tattoo artists…etc
Grumpy Sunshine..I love a tattooed male character too a bad boy with a heart of gold.
Thankyou so much for the chance.
My favorite trope is Enemies to Lovers.
I don’t like Tropes! I want to read a good story, not something that fits in a box. If the only way to describe your book is ‘secret baby’, how is it any different from a thousand other books? Why should I read it? I want to read a book that has imagination and surprises me and makes me say, “Wow”. Is that too much to ask?!?!
i think a throple who has to work out the kinks, working through the awkward stages.
Anyone of yours!
I like enemies to lovers.
Enemies to friends/lovers
I will read just about any trope but forbidden love and enemies to lovers just does something for me
My favorite trope is enemies to lovers!
I enjoy the enemies to lovers. Love when it have a mafia feel to it too!!
My favourite trope is always enemies to lovers!
I like a mystery that doesn’t get solved until the end (and i don’t see it coming!)
Enemies to lovers, but second chance runs a close second!
forbidden
My favorite trope is enemies-to-lovers, because I love tension and push/pull too! I loved In To Her, so thanks for the chance!
My favorite tropes include the ignored-little-sister who later meets her long lost brother’s best friend. I also love a strong, rebellious woman as a main character. Some humor thrown into the mix is also enjoyed.
My favorite trope is enemies-to-lovers.
Second chance and age gap are my favorite!
I don’t know. I like a good story and plot – nothing predictable. I like twisty surprises.
Change of heart and outsider
I can’t decide! Enemies to lovers for sure, second chance, mystery with little nuggets to catch along the way. I just need a happy ending at the end.
I don’t know that I have a favorite trope…..it depends upon my mood. However, I do know that I’m not as fond of the Secret Billionaire or the Royal tropes. I like my characters to feel more real with inner conflict as well as conflict between characters. I also like more than a little snark or sarcasm in my characters!
My favorite trope is friends to lovers.
I love enemies to lovers because of the angst 👀
I agree, I like some angst and twists in a book. Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope too…there’s usually a little snark in them too. Love that!
But when I don’t even want to think or if m stressed, I read cozy mysteries.
I love enemies to lovers trope with a taste of psychotic thrills that will have you sitting at the edge of your seat!!!!
I love Romance books enemy to lovers is beyond my favorite and also brothers bestfriends also, but I will read any Romance books I just read a few m/m/f books those are different but definitely worth a read for sure..
I love a good enemies to lovers but splashed with a bit of the psychotic!
I don’t know that I have a favorite trope. I listen to so many different types of romance books. It really depends on my mood. I typically listen to more dark romance and romantic suspense, but I do have to balance it out with a romcom, billionaire, paranormal or sports romance, so that my mental health doesn’t suffer. I love me some morally grey, tatted up bad boys, he’s obsessed, touch her and die, why choose, etc. I’m an audiobook whore and will devour almost any romance that has a trigger warnings page. (especially if it’s narrated by one or more of my favorite narrators) I love books that have amazing plots, well timed plot twists and well developed story lines with a heavy dose of spice.
I love a good slow burn with great character development!
My favorite tropes in books are the Mafia, taboo relationships, and morally grey characters.
My favorite trope is enemy to lover☘️
I like it when I know kind of what’s coming because I’ve read the authors writing for a long time. But at the same time I know I’ll never see it coming, I’ll end up in tears while Simultaneously screaming at the book. But I did I know I’ll be put back together.
I love enemy to lovers. That’s my favorite. Even as a child my favorite movies were like that. Kidnapped by a handsome pirate, Robin Hood and Maid Marian, a dangerous bad-boy Cowboy and the spitfire female ranch owner., The Silent Man with Maureen O’Hara and John Wayne. Just to name a few. And as I grew older into a young adult my reading followed suit. I loved Rosemary Rodgers, Ginny and Steve Series in the 70’s. Lots of angst and danger and a love hate thing going on. Kathleen E Woodiwiss did that in a lot of her books and I really adored her writing. First book by her I read was Shanna, angst, enemies to lovers, Wolf and the Dove, angst, enemy to lovers., A Rose in Winter, angst, enemies to lovers. So yeah that’s definitely my favorite. 😁❤🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
I love enemies to lovers to read what happens and how they finally figure it out and a good romance with a little of everything that’s why I love your books so much
My favorite trope would be billionaire or mafia trope with a lot of misguided feelings and ex’s.
I totally love a good romance book that always provides a HEA. I have started enjoying interconnected series – just like The Mister Series – hot, alpha billionaires even better! These are some of my favourite tropes that I love … together with lusty hot and sexy love scenes 😊
Billionaire Romance / Enemies to Lovers / Friends to lovers / Second chance / Fake relationship / Playboy/rake in love / Plain jane gets the successful hottie / Forced Proximity / Dare/Bet / Marriage of Convenience / Work Rivals or Adversaries
Billionaire, Boss/Employee
I have a lot of favorite tropes but on top of that list are Enemies to lovers and Office romance! I love a good banter and the sexual tension is 🔥🔥🔥
My fave trope is the secret baby trope. When he finds out he had a child and now they’re an infant – 2/3 yrs. Bonus if he’s an alpha male. And yes Into her sort of ends on a secret baby reveal sort of.
I enjoy many tropes. I do not have really any I do not like.
I don’t think I have a favorite. I will read just about anything, even nonfiction occasionally. Lately, I’ve been reading forced proximity and friends to lovers.
I’m a mood reader, so i don’t think I can pick a favorite trope.
I also like enemies to lovers; it’s so much fun!
Love it when a bad boy corrupts an innocent girl…
I love books featuring single parents. Children add another dimension to a romance.
I have many favorites. MC, mafia, shifters are what I normally read. Like you I love a good mystery in a book with twists and turns. I always go for the underdog in a book. I hope you have a Merry Christmas!! ❤️
I don’t think I have a favorite either. I enjoy them all. If I had to pick then I would say maybe where there is a love triangle involved
This changes regularly. Right now I’m reading a lot of age-gap books. Last month it was friends to lovers.
I don’t have a particular trope, I love a great story, enemies to lover’s, brothers best friends,
Enemies to Lovers is my jam. Love that tension and passion! In To Her was my introduction to all things Julie and I was hooked!
My favorite trope is second chance romance.
So a tough question!😂
I am not limited to any tropes. I love discovering and exploring anything I haven’t read before.
However, since I am a mood reader.
Here are the tropes I am currently in the mood for
🎄Enemies to lovers
☃️single parent
❄️snowed in and only one bed
⛷️royalty (prince/ princess falling for a local)
🐾A fur baby ( pet dog/ cat/ lizard) that brings the MC’s together
🩼Injured/ Handicapped or MC with a disability
🏳️🌈 Any sort of representation (could be the maon or side characters)
Main*
I agree! Enemies to Lovers…
Enemies to Lovers is my favorite. If it’s dark, even better.
I don’t really have a favorite but if I had to pick it would be Enemies to lovers with a good plot and lots of twists.
I have a few 😉
Age-gap.
Paranormal romance.
Sibling’s best friend.
Step-siblings.
Threesome romance.
Reverse harem.
Prob enemies to lovers….something so hot, hot ,hot about that!
I don’t have a favorite trope because I listen to certain types of books for a certain mood of mine – I need both dark books and RomCom in about a 1 to 3 ratio. Teaching is very stressful so I need different escapes for different times. If I need something light and mindless, (like in TV) – I turn to sports and seek out sports themed books with a bit of humor in them or the enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, controlling boss, hometown love books, but I listen to them at 1.70 speed in the car so I don’t think about work. Amy Daws Harris Brothers series is one of my favorites because of the British characters that sound more Irish than British. The narration is phenomenal and the banter between the family will have you in stitches, but it did get a tear or two out of me and that’s hard to do. I lean heavily toward books that have strong characters – both male and female – even when the female has been kidnapped, abused in her earlier life, or has controlling family/coworkers/friends. I don’t like the rich boss trope unless it’s being used in a dark and twisted part of the plot. Just jetting off somewhere for a date or throwing money around is too Hallmark and turns me off to the story. I love the virgin trope if it’s used well – hate it brought into the story as part of the storyline and then the male immediately has sex with her and poof the trope is wasted …. there should a writing class on developing your tropes. I’m twisted and dark in my head though. Love to have a little fear, suspense, raw kinky sex, sexual attraction that builds and not the “I can’t keep my hands off you ” and then we have basic sex against the wall and call that the hottest sex we’ve ever had … boring -yawn- finger down my throat. I enjoy a good kidnapping, a chase, the forbidden, head games … lots of head games, multiple sexual partners in the relationship, mentally or physically scarred characters, the voyeurism in BDSM clubs (hate a book that puts the club aspect into a book, takes the characters there and the male character takes them immediately to a private room because he doesn’t want anyone to look at her – WTF – I want my money back). Ashley Jade’s Duet called The Devil’s Playground has a lot of dark twists, scarred characters, MF, MM, and MFM, revenge, lust, control and nail biting to get to the end. Jade just hasn’t been able to do that with any other books – It’s like she channeled her inner Huss for that Duet. I crave mafia or international kidnapping and danger, even military men going to find and protect a heroine if it’s done with dark undertones – hate when they always get there just in time and not a scratch on her, she wasn’t defiled in anyway -it’s the CLIMAX (definition) people and I really want it to take me up to the top of the tallest roller coaster hill and then drop me down and send me through cork screws and loops before the book ends. If there is a gun fight, knife to the throat kidnapping, I want it to be well thought out because I’ve read books that build up this brawny, testosterone filled character and then he uses none of that to save the damsel in distress and I feel robbed. It’s like the guy in your town who drives the big Ford F250 extended cab, KC and fog lights, extended mirrors, lift kit, running boards, and stickers to imply he hunts – and he won’t go down your dirt driveway because he doesn’t want to get dust on the truck. If you put muscles on your character, I want him to use them. If he has SEAL training, I want him to smash his feet through a window and knock a guy out with his bare hands.
I also like books that go back and forth from past to present. I know some people find them hard to follow, but I love the puzzle – in real life and in books, it’s the challenge. I don’t want to be able to see how a story will play out after listening to the first 2 chapters. Throw me some twists and turns – and the “I did not see that coming” and I’m hanging on til the last page. It’s not so much about the trope, it’s what you do with it. Take the
Return to hometown/reunion romance” – it’s always light and expected … she or he returns home because of an ailing relative, inheritance, or to get away from a failed relationship/job. The returning character tries to avoid the hometown romance, but we all know the ending. Predictable. Why can’t there be a good plot twist … puzzle to solve. Maybe the house she is left by her sister’s death leaves lots of secrets about her sister’s “real” business in this quaint little town. Couldn’t we throw in a secret sex club or a man living in the basement who she wants to evict, but he lures her into his twisted fantasy. Maybe the high school crush turns out to be part of this game and she finds out her sister was the reason she lost her high school sweetheart. So I suppose my favorite trope is much like yours Huss … I don’t have one. I just like developed stories that grab me in some weird way.
My favorite trope is Happily Ever After. I love a good romantic happy ending! <3
My favorites are enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, and captive. Those are usually all the mafia books that I love
I don’t have a favorite. Dark and twisty, enemies to lovers, single parent in a new town.
I don’t have a favorite trope …. I just want to be surprised and keep on my toes my the story. Although I do love some emotional angst!
I don’t have a favorite trope. I overall just enjoy books that aren’t overly predictable. Keeps it interesting.
That’s tough I read almost anything. That said. I will chance a new author for an enemies to lover story. I like the angst.
I like suspense / unexpected twist where you truly did not expect something to happen and you make that audible gasp or “OMG” when you are reading.
I’m a mood reader so this one is quite hard for me. I like most tropes as long as they are done well.
But I like enemies-to-lovers, Age-gap, Forbidden, morally gray hero, he falls first, forced proximity. That’s just a few I can think of. I’m sure there is more.
I like passive.tension.suspense.and a alpha mail. That love is women serverly
I have to switch around to keep reading interesting. I like first person writing with both male and female points of view. Age gap is getting too predictable now. Sex is almost always at the halfway mark in the book and the baby/marriage/ HEA progresses with some sort of anxiety inducing situation that is eventually resolved. Geez I guess I’m reading too much.
So many to choose from but some of my favorites are poor girl/rich boy and age gap.
Best friends
My favorite trope is enemies to lovers or single parent or accidental /surprise pregnancy following one night stand
I don’t have a favorite trope. I love a good Alpha male with lots of angst. I do enjoy the friends to lover or enemies to lover vers as well.
Thanks for the opportunity!
I honestly love so many but one of my favorites is enemies to lovers. The hatred fueled desire is intense
I love anything to do with romance I love tropes that have hea even if it’s an eventually
Oooh thats hard to choose – fake dating or fake fiancee maybe especially if one of them is a billionaire 🙂
I love enemies to lovers it’s my favorite 😊
I love the bad boy (on the outside, but who has a good heart) gets good girl trope. And if it’s a group of guy friends and a series – even better.
Be Honest, I read, anything I can get my hands on , but it has to be Romantic, got to crab my attention, with a good, ending, spice would be in there😂😂😂. Love MC books. Single parents, enemies to Lovers. etc. . 💓 to read and review, alot. Love finding new authors, and help all my authors , I read promote their books.
I enjoy stories with unlikely allies. I also enjoy combining history & fiction in dual timelines.
I feel like I dislike more tropes than I like, but one that always gets me are fairy tale retellings. I guess they are my comfort food.
Hate to love or forced proximity .
Friends to lovers
I don’t really have a favorite trope — I do love stories who have some mystery or suspense in them.
Favorite trope…..hmmmmmmm that is a great question. It turns out I do appreciate the strong take care type, even though they seem to bad ass to be caring. I appreciate the the characters who are also funny. Most recently, not trying to be a total suck up the characters in RoBro, I love the underlying funny. The suble language literally cracks me up. But I also like the quiet mysterious and well, I suppose I like most things I read.
My favorite trope is the secluded house cut off my heavy rain or snowstorm. I like an element of suspense or mystery that that type of trope brings to the story. I also like holiday themed stories, not sure if that counts as a trope, however.
I don’t have a favorite really. I read them all. Lately RH but they should all have action/suspense/danger…..
I’m not sure I really have a favorite but my least favorite is second chances.
I don’t have a favorite trope. I do like a plot that moves along. I like some mystery in a book. I do read/listen to different kinds of books, depends on my mood…lol.
Friends to lovers
I love so many tropes-brother’s best friend, single parent, stepbrother and enemies to lovers(especially when there was a misunderstanding,or lie that caused the rift)
I’m a big fan of enemies to lovers and/or bully Having said that, sometimes I just need a good rom-com!
I love huge number of different tropes… I enjoy age-gap, forbidden, BDSM, and more 😅
I really love military and sports tropes.
The only trope I can’t quite get into is fictional history. Anything else is fair game!
I like to read everything although a good mystery wrapped around a good romance is where I spend my money. I love enemies to lovers especially when the story has unexpected twists. They hold my interest. I like any trope with a lot of action that keeps .me turning the pages.
I don’t have a favorite trope. I read a lot. I like MC, friend to lover, enemy to lover, age gap, billionaire,
I like them all. It also depends on the books too. I don’t choose a book because it’s an enemies to lovers or rom-com etc. That doesn’t matter to me. I want a book that is going to suck me in regardless of the trope.
I also feel that its based on the authors writing style. Each one has a style of their own….. example, rom-coms come in a wide variety. I’ve read books from authors that sucked me in and I’ve read all their books to date and then they’re are some that, in my opinion, are not at all funny and it’s a boring read.
I guess I’m strange that way. I’ll never not finish a book no matter what trope(s) it is unless……aliens. I have a terrible phobia of aliens but I like to read paranormal romance.
I typically gravitate to true crime
I would say I like lots of group journeys and missions with lots of action going on. So found family, friends to lovers, and forbidden love are probably the most popular ones that I read.
Enemies to lovers or age gap/reverse age gap.
That’s a difficult question 😕 In non romance books I like lots of death that keeps me on the edge of my seat. For romance I like forced proximity, ddlg, protector anywhere from villain to first responder males, arranged marriages and non-con.
during the winter its snowed in, other times of the year its fake dating.
I can’t remember if I entered this one so I apologize if this is a double comment.
I really enjoy frenemies to lovers!
Enemies to lovers
I’m a mood reader, so I don’t really have any favorite tropes. I have read a lot more of dark mafia this year than in the past, but then jumped to rom-com as a palate cleanser. I think I have dislikes that I stay away from, like sci-fi and historical romance more than tropes I look forward too. I want a plot and decent dialogue, or I feel like the time I spend reading a story is time I will never get back.
My favorite trope is Friends to lovers and Fake relationships
That’s a hard question since I read so much (ebooks and audiobooks) and I want variations. I really like so many tropes that It really depends on my mood.
Sometimes I need light and fun…friends to lovers, best friend’s sibling, sunshine/grumpy. Other times I just want suspense, with or with darkness, especially with twists. All of those are my favorite at the moment.
Dark/Bully, hockey, best friend to lover, enemy to lover, RH, step brother, brothers best friend.
My favorite trope is a man in a uniform. There’s just something so sexy about it that I find irresistible.
Enemies/ friends to lovers, rockstars, single parents, sibling’s best friend, fake relationship are a few of my favorites. 😍
Enemies to lovers and reverse harem!
I read a lot of books and a lot of tropes. I do not have a favorite. I like MC, mafia, billionaire menage and second chance.
I love angst. Enemies to lovers, best friend that sort of romance…..also dark
I like a story that hangs together.
I don’t know if this is my favorite but what came to mind was 321 book where he was totally unaware of his feelings for JD. It was a different kind of love.
Definitely enemies to lovers is the best!
Enemies to lovers
I like bad boys, so I guess I like enemies to lovers. But what a really like is smart writing. I like the characters to be multifaceted, not perfect. I don’t like being able to see the ending from page one. I want a HEA, but not an obvious arch to get there. Which is why I love your books, clever lady!!!
All the companies books are my fav and I love how many of your books have a character somehow linked to the company story
Ooohhhh there are so many!! But probably the one I most click on without even reading a description is Enemies to Lovers especially if it’s MM or Stepbrother
I love them all. I’m a mood reader, but the few tropes all of my moods are a slüt for is RH, Touch them and I’ll ☠ you, villainous characters get their love, and sooo much smüt!!
I love all trope but most of all is enemies to lovers. Thanks you!
I’m particularly fond of psychological thrillers and I’m not sure there’s a trope that I’m drawn to, although I do enjoy a female detective.uu
Enemies to lovers is hands down my favorite!
Enemies to lovers and grumpy-sunshine are my absolute favorites! I love a good story with lots of push/pull, sexy times lol
I’m pretty sure it would be easier to list my least favorite as there are fewer options. But I’d say I’m extremely fond of MM romance 💕😍😍
My favorite troupe is enemies to lovers
I love stories with a twist and some mystery in them. Tropes like forced proximity, sunny versus grumpy and enemies to lovers are always great.
My top favorite tropes are fake/arranged/forced marriages and snowstormed or stuck in a cabin stories.
But really anything that has dark, loner, determined, protective heroes and strong, independent heroines. The darker, the better.
Even more when they take me on a rollercoaster ride, give me all the feels, make my heart ache and then bring redemption with a blast. And are hot af of course!
💜
Marriage on the rocks
I love fake relationships even better if it’s m/m.
I like age gap and Rick boy/poor girl.
Love a good boy/girl next door or a blue collar worker. And military.
I read just about everything, so I am not sure if I have a favorite trope. However, I love a book with angst, twist and turns that I cannot predict, and an ending that surprises me.
She’s grumpy and he’s sunshine
milwaukee, wi – love smutty stories
I enjoy twisting angsty books that are well done and include good communication.
I like lots of different tropes
Dark
Bully
RH
Enemies to lovers
Paranormal
Just to list a few
Favorite groups, hm friends to lovers, enemies to lovers
I don’t have just one. My favorite tropes are; breeding, pregnancy, cinnamon roll, and romantic suspense.
Dark enemies to lovers trope all the way— the darker, the better’
I’ll read just about anything as long as the writing is good. There are so many good tropes. I love when characters make cameo appearances in other books and when authors reference other books (especially in ways that somewhat self deprecate in an I can laugh at myself way).
I enjoy the good vs evil trope.
Twists and turns, suspense, danger, sexual heat, all are good
Dark enemies to lovers, bully, etc type of tropes are my favorite!
I love banter and chemistry! Although my OG trope is enimies to lovers.. I adore a stepbrother or best friend’s brother also a second chance and can be soothing to the soul
Gosh, I love soooooooo many tropes, but right now I’ve been really into taboo/age gap/forbidden romances! For some reason, books with those themes seem to keep calling my name, LOL!
I love MC romances. The hot bikers with tattoos covering their body. These guys are loyal, have your back, and love deeply.
I love military and MC romance. Strong heroes and equally strong female counterparts.
Can I just copy your answer Julie?? Because that sounds pretty damn perfect to me!
Or can JA Huss a trope? Because that would be my top one!
Enemies To lovers
I don’t have a favorite trope but mysteries and mindfucks are definitely genres I’m greedy for. I love the thrill of not knowing what’s going on and finding out little by little what’s going on. Bigger pictures are dizzying in the best way ever
I like the mystery/suspense thriller aspect. And have recently started liking the fantasy/paranormal/scifi also
I love a great reverse harem-Enemies to lovers. I truly enjoy when an author has great character development and world building. I love it when a book can pull me in and I can feel it. And of course, a great plot twist never hurts. I love how all your books build on and connect in some way.
I love enemies to lovers, also “forbidden”, anything where love has to overcome something
i can’t pick just one. stalker. serial killer. bdsm. why choose. primal play
I don’t think I have a fav trope, but I really enjoy snarky commentary so maybe enemies to lovers. I want humor, suspense, intensity & twists.
Kind of sappy but I love the HEAs. Too much of life is hard.
This is really hard for me. I love a good hot and steamy romance in all my books. but there needs to be action, mystery or twisted aspect. I love a good rom com too, but with the same underliers. Like Mr. and Mrs. by JA HUSS. That book was HILARIOUS!! NINJA KITTENS!!! But still had all the other good stuff that you could literally make a movie out of.
I will read just about anything, but I seem drawn to reverse harem and enemies to lovers.
I don’t have a singular favourite but enjoy several. Enemies to lovers, age gap, second chance
Enemies to lovers
Billionaire bad boy or angsty rockstars, enemies to lovers are some of my favorite tropes.
In don’t really have a favorite trope. As Long as it jaz lota od twist and turns (and sex) and a happy ending I’m game.
I read everything! Love a great second chance romance or a single dad romance, especially if he had a precocious little girl.
Don’t have a favorite but will say surprise baby is my least favorite.
I enjoy quite a few… marriage of convenience, single dad, age gap, boss/ employee, etc.
Enemies to lovers, opposites attract & sibling’s best friend are my top 3 favorite tropes.
I like a book that is complicated with several problems. Sometimes books are too simple, with something obvious happening, which I can predict, then a quick HEA. I want a little mystery; sometimes characters reminise about the past and things that happened to them which made them who they are.
Love lots of tropes but they need to have a nice plot and characters with substance.
Simply The Antihero. and you do them so well. You can’t help but fall in love and root for them.
I love books with twist and turns that keep you on your toes!
I’m not real tropey, but In To Her is my FAVORITE of your books. Probably the first MMF book I read and enjoyed. I do love my HEA endings, and I was so glad to see that they did, finally, get their forever. As for other tropes, frankly I don’t want to know what to expect. I don’t want to know that a book has a secret pregnancy or frenemies. I don’t read blurbs or even reviews before listening (I’m an audio listener primarily) because I really like to be surprised. Let the book take me where it goes, I guess. 🙂
I love MC books, or secret babies. Thank you for the chance.
I love my reverse harem tropes! They are all different!
Forbidden or secret baby
No favorites but don’t care for secret baby reads.
I’m all about forced proximity.
Enemies to lovers, bully romance (light, not hard core), brothers best friend, best friends brother, angsty.
Reverse Harem, I really love a book with characters that are sassy and have funny banter back and forth – much better than a book where the characters are constantly edgy and angry!
I do not really have a favorite. But I think the Sports trope is starting to become a favorite.
Second chance romance. That would have been, could have been but wasn’t right then and maybe just maybe it’s right this time.
I like Forced Proximity and Friends to Lovers.
I’d say I love military romances but especially Second Chance ones!
I will read most tropes, if they’re well written and hold my attention.
Friends to lovers or billionaire
Hate turns to love.
I Love a lot dark romance mafia are one of my favorites! Merry Christmas to you 🙂
Grumpy sunshine
Insta love
I love enemies to lovers but I’m currently more on an age gap/forbidden trope.
I don’t have a favorite trope per se. I would read/listen to any trope, I enjoy a well written book ( a smooth writing flow gets me every time). I just need a HEA or HFN.
I like a lot of tropes; I don’t know that I have a favorite. Currently reading a shifter series. Then next in my tbr is a second chance, secret baby/enemies to lovers’ type of book.
Not sure I have a favorite, because my favorite is often the one I’m currently reading. I enjoy friends-to-lovers, enemies-to-lovers, secret baby, silver fox, second chance, mafia, MC club, sports, and many others. I’m not as big a fan of new adult books, because it’s hard to relate since that stage was several decades ago for me. However, I still occasionally read them. I’m also not as big of a fan of insta-love; they just don’t seem as satisfying as the ones where the protagonists have to face challenges to find their HEA ending.
I’m not sure what it’s called exactly.
Enemies to lovers I guess but I also like stories that have me clinging to the bread crumbs. For example when Ford pops into a flea market and meets a little Sasha and you just think okay will I learn more about her or never hear her name again?
I love that shit in romance… the mysteries within…
I’m a huge Romantic Suspense junkie.
I really like second chance trope.
I like changing it up because I get bored reading the same ‘ole, same ‘ole. I do enjoy suspense, I like it a little dark, but a single dad gets me ALL the time!
I don’t necessarily have a favorite bit ai really like Military and Medical ones with secret babies added to it.
I don’t necessarily have a favorite but I really like Military and Medical ones with secret babies added to it.
My favorite trope is enemies to lovers as it usually involves dialogue or situational humor, but a close second is fake relationship as that often leads to humor too.
I don’t read trope specific. I like good writing, a good plot without loose ends, and characters with growth. I love twists, I love humor in unexpected places, and I don’t like closed doors.
Grump/Sunshine and Enemies to Lovers
I love a good romance story but with some flair. Alpa men, enemys to lovers, supernatural or historical based. Right now I’m really on a supernatural kick fae, werewolf, vampire, ect.
MC Romance is probably my favourite. I like the badass bikers with soft spots for their women. They usually have a bit of mystery/suspense in them too which gets and extra thumbs up from me.
Enemies to lovers is my favorite. I also like when there’s a twist or mystery.
Personally, 2nd chance is my trope of choice.
Enemies/friends to lovers
Merry Christmas 🎄
My trope depends on my mood. I love a good enemies to lovers, forced proximity, rejected mates (paranormal) are some of the top ones lately.
It changes with my mood. I like mostly romance no matter if it’s mf, mfm, mmf or even mm or ff etc. As long as it has a twist and a shock factor to it. Not just sex scenes with no story to it.
That is so hard because I like so many MC, BDSM. Enemies to Lovers, Best friend, Mafia
I like all kinds of troupes, it all goes on how I’m feeling as to what I want to read but I prefer older characters to college age, a real slow burn and not instalove but lots of angst and lust is good and I love strong FMC who are sassy and don’t take s#it. They could be enemies to lovers, second chance romance or even supernatural.
My favorite are MC tropes.
I like fake relationships that turn real and puzzles that have to be solved. I especially like it when the two main characters are super smart and figure out all of the confusing intricate details of a massive cluster of a puzzle or problem and they figure it out while they are falling in love. Then of course they save the day, get married, and have babies, lol.
Romantic Suspense is always good. I like intertwined series, with characters recurring during the books. I’m a sucker for a good story, whatever the trope, if truth be told.
I love enemies to lovers.
I am a sucker for Enemies to Lovers, too. I love this giveaway today. Into Her was my introduction book to your work. Such a twist at the end and honestly brought me to tears. I started grabbing your books after this one left and right! Such an unique writing style!! LOVE it!!
Enemies to lovers and why choose.
Romantic suspense and enemies to lovers are my go to books. Throw in a good rom com to shake things up and I am a happy camper.
Dark bully or enemy to lovers
I too love ‘Enemies to Lovers’ with a bit of mystery or suspense mixed in. I love when she is a strong confident woman & he’s equally strong & gets what he wants! The angst level needs to be off the charts. Seeing both of their weaknesses is a plus.
Enemies to lovers!
I like Romcoms and Billionaire romances and a mystery/surprise.
Favorite trope, is hard to choose but I like Alpha Men with Alpha women working together to solve a problem whether it’s a crime, rescue, or overcoming issues.
My go to’s usually are MC/Military/Paranormal Romance but lately I have been reading more mystery/suspense stories.
Enemies to lovers but I have so many others as well. It’s hard to just pick one.
Single parents. Enemies to lovers. Friends of family members. Family series are always great.
I love all tropes, but mu favorite is why choose.
For me, it’s always the older man and younger woman scenario. Probably something back in my psyche but your books nail it. Figuratively and literally! Thank you for that. Your books keep me going keep seeking.
childhood best friends to lovers.
I love psychological thrillers, Paranormal romance, Second chances at love and lately Reverse harem. I read almost everything. It depends on my mood.
My favorite trope is enemies to lovers.
I have to say I love many tropes but if I have to choose one, enemies-to-lovers would likely to be my favourite. It would be best if there are elements of bullying and some angst to go with the plot (like some issues or misunderstandings that forced the FMC to leave the MMC and the MMC goes all crazy because of it). Lol.
My favorites are age gap and RH. I love most tropes but these are my very favorites to listen to.
I flip around a lot. Going from Romcom, Paranormal Romance to manage to small town, just needs to have an intriguing story.
Most definitely enemies to lovers followed by friends to lovers. Lots of steam and great banter!!
I love age gap tropes for sure and definitely psychological thrillers.
I don’t know if I have any real favorites but I really enjoy dark, age gap, anything that will play games on my mind.
I’m a big fan of enemies to lovers and second chance – I feel like there’s always of lot of feels with those types.
I love anything dark!
I’ve been on a Rom-com kick lately.
Rom com
Reverse Harem
don’t have a favorite. What I do love is that when I’m reading the series and you feel so invested in the characters
I don’t think I have a favorite, however, I do love an Alpha Man/Alpha Woman battle with a great story line….
Second chance romance and enemies to lovers.
I don’t have a particular favorite.
My favorite is enemies to lovers I love them
Fav trope is a bully dark rh & Romantasy. I seem to be in my vampire era right now!
Alpha woos, then callously destroys relationship only to realize he’s lost the best thing in his life. Epic grovel to get love of his life back.
Enemies to lovers, fake dating, and only one bed.
Love enemies to lovers! This was actually my first JA Huss book and started me down the rabbit hole! Like you mentioned I love when one of the characters completely surprises us with the outcome.
Older woman, younger man
Second chance if I had to pick one.
My favorite is enemies to lovers
I don’t really have a favorite trope but it has to have romance and some kind of mystery/suspense
cozy mysteries
Evening everyone! I am behind by a few days because of a viral cold going through the house! After reading your favorite trope description JA, I would definitely have to agree with everything you said. I know that is the easy way to comment, but it is true. I love the angst, the building of the MC characters, I like that one of the MC is not in the same “social” area/status as the other. I need the suspsense and mystery of an actual storyline for the characters and not just a wam/bam, so to speak! I don’t want the HEA to just “be”. I want them to have to work for it, to make it ‘real’ so to speak!
Angst, dark romance and a little taboo!
Billionaire second chance, especially if there is a secret baby/child involved.
I go through phases. Lately, I have been really into romantic suspense. I also love paranormal romance, romantic comedy, MC books.
Love dark romances with lots of twists and turns. Couples that shouldn’t be but… are amazing and hot!
Paranormal/ Fantasy romance, Sci-Fi Romance and Dark contemporary.
I like when the characters come back together after years of not seeing each other.
As soon as I saw “Love in a Snowstorm” I knew what book it was going to be. I loved this book and the total unpredictability of it!
My favorite trope is almost any of them. I like to change things up and read/listen to a different kind of story each time, especially after coming off a series. I’ll go in a whole different direction. I do like to be challenged with a plot and characters that aren’t transparent, so I guess I like complexity. I appreciate an author who can include those features in any trope. Like you do!
I really do enjoy a enemies lovers trope. The struggle and the fight. I’m really being into the syfy romance as well.
Hi Julie
I love enemies to lovers with a bit of dark, lots of spice and plenty of comical banter. x
Mystery, enemies to lovers, secrets all the secrets. Found family, community or friends. Fated mates. Bay shit crazy plots that work beautifully.
Idk if this is actually a troupe but that big giant moment of OH NO HE DIDNT!
I love, love, LOVE single dads. Especially if they’re babies. So yummy, Thank you for the chance.
Usually romance but it depends on my mood.
I definitely don’t have a favorite. I love them all. As long as the story line is good and the characters are interesting not good or bad but interesting then I’m in.
Favorite trope
Well I have several. Love the small town scene as well as friends to lovers. Romcoms are also a favorite.
Loving dark romance atm, although my favourites change depending on mood. Why choose and bully are currently hitting the spot!
Billionaire
Sports
Office
Menage
Why choose
Enemies to lovers
Marriage of convenience
List goes on and on
Hi Julie and all
In to her it’s my kind of plot! I love it absolutely, another one is in Sexy, with Tiff and Fletcher or Adam in Creeping beautiful!
I think my favorite trope is friends to lovers. I am not sure why. I love so many others, but I just keep coming back to these books more?
I really like second chance, reverse harem/why choose, friends to lovers, sibling’s best friend/best friend’s sibling…I’ve come to enjoy more forbidden romance and age gap lately.
I really don’t have a favorite. When I’m reading a book what the author is writing is what I like/love at the moment. Sorry I just can’t pick one.
Dark and Dirty
Siblings best friend
Single dad/mom
Best friends dad
Age-gap
Dark
What I read depends on my mood. I love the dark twisty books. Other days paranormal/shifters. But always billionaires! Grumpy/sunshine
If I had to choose it would be Friends to lovers, I guess because it is reality fantasy.
Can I just say “ditto” to what you said?? In To Her is my absolute favorite of all of your books. So I guess what you said about your favorite trope(s) and how it describes the book would be mine too. In To Her is the book that has scenes running through my head at random times. It just sticks with me.
Romantic Suspense
I am pretty much an equal opportunity reader. I do love
Enemies to Lovers
Second chances
Angsty
Mystery
Grumpy & Sunshine
I don’t think I have a favourite trope but I do love a brooding hero who has to protect her but can’t have her…
I like almost any trope but I love best friend’s sibling/brother’s best friend.
I love all romance tropes with favorites being enemies to lovers and friends to lovers.
I like a lot of tropes, I sometimes prefer paranormal/fantasy romances, I like reverse harem as well, but the thing I like best in a book is when the female character is strong and capable, I’m not sure that is a trope in itself.
I really really like a wide variety. Just depends on what mood I’m in at the time.
My favorite trope is friends to lovers
Enemies to lovers!! Though my favourite thing is seeing a couple fall in love, seeing exactly why they are perfect for each other and then how they face obstacles together. And if they happen to start off as enemies and work through everything together to be a couple who can communicate and lift each other up and not give up on each other then it’s just ~perfect~
the sun shown, having no alternative, upon the nothing new!
Would have to be enemies to lovers
The bad guy or girl.
I am a mood reader so this is tough question to answer: enemies to lovers, small town, age gap, fake relationship, forbidden, mafia, grumpy-sunshine etc
My favorite trope is the older woman/younger man and don’t see it near enough. As a disabled person, I always hope to see more characters that look like me too.
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Holidays!
The Scarf Princess
Reverse harem/why choose is my favorite trope in contemporary or paranormal fiction
I love action thrillers and suspense. A good mafia book or an MC or gang related books with alpha males. I love a crazy unexpected ending. Especially in series. But no cliffhangers. I want the story tied up at the end. But not too tight so I can look forward to the next. But, regardless of the trope, it has to have romance tied in.
Enemies to lovers
Ah, this is a tuffy. But I with you, I like a lot of tension and angst. However the conflict comes about isn’t as an important as journey. Storytelling is the key.
My favorite trope is friends to lovers.
I really like the secret relationship trope. Mistaken identity is really good too.
My favorite trope changes periodically but lately I have been really enjoying Age Gap or anything with a forbidden feel really. I favor those with lots of emotion, drama, angst, and steam. It has to have steam. Lol…😆
I don’t have a favorite, I love them all
Thanks for the chance!
Definitely enemies (or friends) to lovers, dark/forbidden romance, age gap. But it all comes down to how well the story is told… I love different/unique takes, twists and turns, tension/suspense.
Usually depends on my mood but I’ve been really into dark romance and mafia books.
I like angst and drama. Second chances Mystery. Friends to lovers. I really like all different kinds
Military/bodyguard
I don’t know that I really have a favorite, it really depends on my mood. If I had to choose I’d say enemies to lovers. The more angst the better, because then it makes the happy ending (there has to be a HEA) so much sweeter.
I don’t have a favorite trope, but I do love a good, steamy read, be it between two or more people.
I love fake relationships especially
m/m. Thanks
I have a couple. I love dark, bully, RH, mafia, and MC. I love all reads but these are my top favorite. I guess I really love angst, huh?
Hmm… I do not have an absolute favorite… I like to have a good variety.
I don’t really have a favourite troop I seem to go in phases. I’ve just read Sick Heart and Sick Hate and no I’m reading a Hockey Series
Taboo and Morally Gray such as Reverse Harem and Mafia Romance
I am a dark romance lover. Bonus points if its reverse harem or bully
Thanks for the chance
Hi Julie, I would also say I like enemies to lovers.
Severely inappropriate/taboo relationships are my favorite! For example, doctor + patient or inmate + correctional officer!!!!
Thank you so so so so so much for the years and years of enjoyment you have given me through your books!! And thank you for the chance to win!
I hope you and your family have the happiest of holidays!!!!
I really like a dark romance and . reverse harem.
It changes, but right now I am really into mafia romance.
My favorite is MC.
