Welcome to my annual 12 DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS!

If you’re new to this – here’s how it works:

1.   Each day from December 1 through December 12 I will put up a new giveaway HERE on my website with instructions on how to enter, a detailed description of the prize, and some stuff about the book or series. Each giveaway is different and each has ONE WINNER. MY GIVEAWAYS ARE ALWAYS OPEN INTERNATIONAL

2.   Each giveaway runs UNTIL DECEMBER 13.

3.   Winners are CHOSEN and NOTIFIED on December 14. I will be notifying winners USING THE EMAIL USED TO COMMENT ON THIS BLOG – and all winners will BE LISTED AT THE TOP OF EACH GIVEAWAY POST HERE ON MY WEBSITE on December 14.

4.   Winners have 24 hours to respond, then another winner will be chosen.

5.   ALL PRIZES WILL BE MAILED ON DECEMBER 15.  If I’m waiting on a winner to respond and they miss the December 15 mail date, that prize will be mailed when I get around to it. I live in the middle of nowhere so a trip to the post office is a “thing” for me. 🙂 So make sure you’re checking for winners on the 14th.

6.   I will send newsletters announcing giveaways on December 1, December 6, December 12, and a Winner newsletter on December 14. I NEVER send this many newsletters in a month so sorry if that feels spammy.

7.   You can also FOLLOW MY BLOG. I will also make a blog post HERE announcing ALL WINNERS on the 14th. If you want to follow this blog there will be a form at the bottom of each post to do that. Then you get an email when I POST HERE. I don’t do that often – December is the exception because of the 12 Days and my yearly “Wrap-up” post.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

THAT’S IT! I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THIS!

The world is INSANE right now so I’m just trying to spread some cheer and give back to all of you who support me and enjoy the stories I create.

NOW LET’S GET ON TO THE FIRST GIVEAWAY!

IN EACH POST I WILL HIGHLIGHT A BOOK

TODAY’S BOOK HIGHLIGHT IS THE SAVAGE RAGE OF FALLEN GODS

THE SAVAGE RAGE OF FALLEN GODS
Savage Falls #1
Dark Fantasy Romance
Paranormal Monster Romance

Welcome to Savage Falls, where the men have horns, doors have agendas, and the God of Love will never fall in love.

Hate is his soulmate. His soulmate is hate.

Love. When mutual, it’s Heaven on Earth. When one-sided, it can tear you apart.

There is no greater weapon than the heartsick soul. That is the power I wield, for I am the God of Love. No one has power like me. No one can poison a heart and pollute a mind the way I can. That is why the gods kicked me out. That is why they made me fall.

But then a door appears on the side of my hill. The opportunity to ruin kings and destroy gods is mine once more. I can crush the whole wicked world if I can just get back the power I lost.

But this magic of mine requires sacrifice.

And now, I have to decide… am I willing to pay the price?

Savage Rage of Fallen Gods is a story of a broken man. It is a tale of regret, promises, and how revenge can darken a god’s soul. It is a new start of a spinoff series by New York Times bestselling author, JA Huss, writing as KC Cross.

The Savage Rage of Fallen Gods is a story of a broken heart. It is a tale of regret, and promises, and how revenge can darken a god’s soul. It is a standalone book in a brand new series by New York Times bestselling author, JA Huss, writing as KC Cross.

(1) COMMENT HERE on the blog (below) and tell me –

WHAT IS THE BEST MOVIE/TV SHOW YOU SAW IN 2023?

I’m asking because I’m rewatching Gossip Girl, that’s how much of a dry spell I’m in. I think a lot of what’s coming out lately is pretty shitty. But I did just see that movie The Creator and while I would not call it great, I did watch it all the way through and would give it a 6.5 out of 10. Which is a very good score for me these days. Usually I just quit like 20 minute in. So I would recommend The Creator.

Here’s the trailer if you’ve never heard of this one.

AND HERE is a sneak peek of tomorrow’s giveaway!

Make sure you stop by and enter!

I am not good at even turning the TV on. I’d rather sit in silence with my audiobook. When the husband turns on TV I might pay attention to the aliens and space talk about worm holes.

However I did really enjoy sex education on netflix which is a more newer series I’ve watched. I am also rewatching the vampire diaries which never fails to grab my attention haha

My favourite TV show for 2023 was an Australian show called Scrublands. The book by Chris Hammer was brilliant. A journalist visits a small town to do a story about the town a year on from the local priest shots five guys, then is killed by the policeman. So many unanswered questions? That the journalist want answers to.

My favourite show that I watched this year is Shining Vale. It is a comedy/horror or ghost story or possibly mental health related story. Courtney Cox and Mira Sorvino star in this hilarious series. It’s a bit cheesy at first but as I watched it kept my attention. The darker the plot somehow the show also became funnier.

I agree with you about TV these days!! Somehow my man got me watching Naruto, which was never even a consideration before. But there is something to be said about having an open mind, because I’ve actually enjoyed it! I’d give it a 7 out of 10. Points deducted for unnecessary repetitive scenes (I’m sure they had their reasons). But the story and character building is really good and now has me asking when we can watch the next episodes instead of him lol!

Good Omens, s2. (Altho Loki s2 was really awesome!!) Ever since the miniseries ran, I’ve rewatched it maybe 30 times (at least), talk abt it endlessly on Reddit, and finally watch both fanvids and fanfiction. It takes up WAY too much of my time (which I don’t really have) & it even leads me into watching all of David Tennant & Michael Sheen’s other works. I’m positive I’ll have plenty to do before season 3 arrives!!

It resolves around a art thief / con man working alongside a detective to solve crime.

Both the conman and the officer are so charismatic and the on screen chemistry between them is super intense.

This is light hearted, witty, funny, heartwarming and intelligent.

If I am going to be perfectly honest, there hasn’t been a single movie or TV series I watched this year that I can say, “OMG! I loved it and I want to watch it again!” I thinkbi am going to have to go old school and say I would much rather read a physical book or an ebook, or listen to my favorite authors and narrators in audiobooks. I can go anywhere and do just about anything and listen to a book. I have discovered some awesome “new to me” authors this year as well as some of my favorites who released new books this year. I have also listened to my favorite narrators read books I probably would not have given a second look at, had I not loved their voice.

This is a hard question because it’s hard for me to find a show I like and even if I do my memory doesn’t retain it until I see at least clips of it so to ask me out of the blue I have a terrible time remembering. On tv in the spring there was a TV series I think called Endgame and it was pretty good. Each week a woman would tell a story to an FBI agent to help them (and her) solve her riddle. It was good.
I watched Don’t Worry, Darling (a movie) and it was good, too. I think it could have been a limited series and been really good.

I can’t pick one single thing that stands out to me from this past year. If you knew me, that would be considered almost sacrilegious – the TV always on in my house. I have been in a slight fugue state for a while. Now that I think on it, it’s been since 02/14/2022, when my mom passed. Ugh.

Black Cake is a gut-wrenching multi-racial/multi-cultural family story. Fellow Travelers follows the love affair between two men spanning the 1950s – 1980s. They are superb!

I binged on Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Bones, Phryne Fisher Mysteries, Sex in the City and Xena, Warrior Princess. We had a blast at Halloween with all of our Halloween tv episodes and movies, especially the Halloweentown and Hotel Transylvania movies. We totally cheated when we only watched the fights in Karate KIds 1 – 4 but it was so fun! There’s other shows and movies we’ve seen but I honestly forgot how funny the original Major League and Necessary Roughness movies were until we rewatched them. 🙂

I watched a movie that was so touching and based on a true story titled “Rescued by Ruby”. It’s so heart warming. I am a relatively new Netflix subscriber and that’s where I found this movie. It’s a Netflix exclusive so for those of you that have Netflix I would recommend watching this movie …even with the whole family. I cried and I applauded.

There are several shows that I have streamed and loved. Right now I am watching Julia. I don’t cook, but I love this show. I thought Fargo was done and I could binge the entire series. Imagine my surprise when I saw a commercial for season 5. The Crown. The Princess Diana storyline gutted me. Our house is a Marvel Universe home. Our son’s name is Storm (he is 26). No Way Home was a favorite in our house. I loved seeing all 3 of the Spidarmen together. I was excited about the Barbie movie. It was okay, but I love the positive woman power messages. Let’s face it, Weird Barbie was amazing.

I mostly listen to audiobooks or read, so I rarely turn my TV on anymore. Here lately I’ve only turned it on to watch college football. Other than that, the only shows I really watched this year were Yellowstone and Wolf Pack on Paramount+. Yellowstone is probably the best show I’ve seen since Son’s of Anarchy or Game of Thrones. Sad it has to end, but the good ones usually do.

I actually asked my husband if there was anything really good this year that we watched. Nope, nothing that he could remember, and he’s good with the movie stuff. Most of the junk we saw this year we turned off after a few minutes of us looking at each other and asking, “what the hell is this”. We watched a movie that was from 2018, Cock Blockers. This was very funny due to the stupidity, but at least I laughed out loud. Storyline was ridiculous, but I just didn’t care anymore. How sad is that?

I have to say this series has pulled my head out of my books and have fueled a few different debates, discussions on what would you do if put in these situations, and I know I could not last too long before I am tapping out looking for food that I don’t have to kill, clean and prepare with minimal supplies, dependable heat, and a hot shower!

I liked Star Wars Andor because the story wasn’t predictable and was more geared toward adults than kids, so they left out the corny characters Disney is known to slip in the hope of gaining more revenue. I watch lots of British crime dramas and I often have to binge rewatch the past seasons before the new one comes out to remember continuing plots. Endeavour, Happy Valley, The Unforgotten and Annika were some of my favorites. Also, I love the Call the Midwife series.

It’s about an everyday woman who is called upon to save the universe, while having a business and family crisis at the same time and trying to deal with that and to believe she’s the one who can save everyone. It’s funny and heartfelt at times, and very action packed, and with subtle meanings and or right in your face stuff too. And I loved it!❤ I think it was on Prime. 🎄🎄😘🎄

Hmm. That’s a good question.. tbh, I can’t really think of anything right now that I could class as a favourite. It’s been a pretty stressful year though and for the most part, as there wasn’t much new on tv wise, we pretty much just watched a ton of hallmark movies and i know how that sounds. But you know what? It’s actually one of the best ways to destress. You already know things will work out for the best, and there are no real issues that can’t be resolved unlike in real life. It’s just helps us have a nice, relaxing night. And frankly, that’s what everyone needs right now. I hope you’re enjoying your nights as well. Happy Holidays! 🎄💕

Well, I do have a 20 year old with Autism so I have seen Wish (it was okay), the Marvels (I actually enjoyed this), the Paw Patrol Movie (always a classic) and the Trolls movie. I am trying think of a non- kid movie I watched. I did just see Sound of Freedom, great movie- such a sad and horrfying topic- A haunting in Venice was also a good who-dun-it.

TV shows, I did love Yellowstone. We watched Survivor for the first time in year, now I can’t decide it I like the actual show, or it was the one time a week I had my husband and both boys with me- that was probably it. And the game play has changed in the past 10 years.

Oh, House of the Dragon. I am really enjoying the whole Game of Thrones thing.

I actually went to a theater in 2023 for the first time in 4 years, lol…I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1!!!! I will say, I’ve always been a bit of a Mission Impossible junkie and this one was no exception…it’s action-packed, crazy, and totally impossible which makes it so much fun to watch! I can’t wait for Part 2!!!

As far as a movie, I was intrigued, horrified and turned on all throughout the movie Saltburn. It was great.

I’m not a big TV person. I generally watch very little of it. However, I read ‘Lessons in Chemistry’ and loved it. Then I found out that Apple TV was making a series around the book. So I got Apple TV so I could watch it. I loved it!! I also watched two other series’ this year. Our daughter also shared ‘Drops of God’ with us (it’s about wine and takes place mostly in Japan and Europe.) It was extremely well done and filled with complex characters that were fascinating. The other show I watched was 5 episodes of ‘Limitless.’ It’s about Chris Hemsworth and how he challenges himself to face his own fears and weaknesses to become a better person. It was also awesome! That’s it. That’s the sum total of my TV experience for 2023. And each of them were excellent!

The Boy and the Heron. I pretty much always love Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli films, but they’ve really hit it out of the ball park with this one! It was breathtaking in its scope, with mind-bendy interdimensional concepts, a sense of wonder, so much beauty, as well as having plenty of lovely slice-of-life stuff. I give it a solid 9.5 out of 10.
I’d also like to mention Toy Soldiers, from 1991, which I saw recently and was impressed with. It was surprisingly great. Good story progression and pacing, with one of my favourite tropes – the formation of a good team, with each member using their unique strengths to get them out of a dire bind.

I do love Bosch. It is one of the few shows I found that stays true to the book. The events aren’t exactly the same (budget restrictions I’m sure), but the character is the one I know. The other is another Michael Connolly book, Lincoln Lawyer. I’m sure it is because he is so active in the process. I just binged the first season of Reacher, another good book-to-TV story. I will watch season two when it releases this week.

I can honestly say that the authors, writers, and the actors are doing some great work in these movies/TV shows.

This isn’t a new movie. However I just saw it this year. A Wing and a Prayer. It was incredible movie of a family and an ill fated plane ride.

I really enjoyed Wednesday this year, and it reminded me I hadn’t had the change to watch Sabrina, so I pretty much binged that series after finishing Wednesday.

I love a lot of the nature series type TV shows on Netflix. It is awesome to learn about animals and creatures, and even plants and how they survive and function and how we all play apart in the world.

I watch a lot of tv but it’s actually hard to pick just one movie/series. I definitely enjoyed Red, White, and Royal Blue and found it to be a well-crafted adaptation of the book.

Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Holidays!

Because I do nothing but listen to audiobooks, I rarely get into television series. However, recently I did catch a very old series that I had never heard of. McMillon. The McDonald’s monopoly game scandal. Damn it was interesting. I remember that something happened and they stopped the game but I didn’t know the details. I had no idea that the mob was actually involved. Wow, it was great. I’m glad that I stumbled on to that.

I have’t seen a movie in theater since before the pandemic. We are also a family of rewatching classics like Good will Hunting and The Shawshank Redemption. I’m waiting to watch Oppenheimer streaming in a few days.
For TV, anything Star Wars. I love the story lines and it’s my way to connect with my 6 year old Grandson who knows literally anything about Star Wars. he knows who fought who, what color their light saber is, what ship the drive, what planets they have been on. He blows my mind.

I’ve developed some new health problems over the past few years which makes watching tv incredibly difficult. It messes with my eyes and brain. I can listen to it in the background, like the news or something, if my eyes are shut, but that’s about it. I haven’t watched any tv shows in a few years. I’m homebound due to illness so I haven’t been to a movie theater in a very long time… Seriously can’t remember the last movie I watched. Thank goodness for music and audiobooks… I’ve listened to a ton of audiobooks this year. Julie, your audiobooks are the best!!

Sacred Trinity

THE DANGER IN THE DAMAGE

A soldier searching for redemption.
A man addicted to control.
And the woman caught between them…

Ean Shephard knows trouble when he sees it and Olive Creed is the kind of trouble that can burn his whole world down. As Collin Creed’s baby sister, she’s completely off-limits. But her quiet strength, combined with her sad vulnerability, keeps pulling him closer. Shep came to Edge Security to escape his past, but falling for Olive could ruin his second chance and the fragile peace he’s fought so hard to find.

Brose Sinclair has always played the long game. He and Olive are more than just partners inside the shadow organization they both work for, they’re lovers. His absolute authority keeps her on track and Olive likes it that way. But her sudden attraction to their target threatens everything they’ve worked for and for the first time, Brose finds himself questioning whether control is enough to keep Olive by his side.

Olive Creed has spent her life learning to play her role perfectly. She can’t afford to mess up. Not with Brose watching her every move, looking for mistakes. Mistakes she sometimes makes on purpose just to spur on his titillating punishment. But as she starts to fall for her target and her world begins to crumble beneath her feet, Olive finds herself wondering—which one of these two men would truly be there in her darkest hour?

Brose—the one who owns her mind?

Or Shep—the one who wants her heart?

The Danger in the Damaged is a battlefield of betrayal and control, where loyalty is a weapon and obsession takes no prisoners. It’s a best-friend’s-little-sister romance caught in the crossfire of dark secrets and mind games—and this time, Collin Creed isn’t the one calling the shots.

Inside the pages you’ll find…

Enemies to Lovers
Best Friend’s Sister
Power Dynamics
Forbidden Love
