Yall. I’ve been watching Yellowstone recently and thought to myself I’d love to read about a gorgeous Native American man with those long pig tail braids down the front and he’s actually a Native American God or maybe some type of shapeshifter. Or maybe not maybe he’s just total alpha male like Kocoum from Pocahontas. And he meets a damsel in distress and they fall in love. But there has to be such good plot bc I need depth with my spice. I haven’t read about any Native American bad asses and I fear I’m missing out.
I would have to say, currently my “vibe” is warm summer days in a small town. House set off the road backed up to a national forest. A town with one main street, lots of cool little shops, everyone knows everyone, but it’s a tourist town so this lends to lots of strangers swarming, and the most likely suspects when someone starts stalking the single mom who runs the florist shop. And her lifelong best guy friend who has secretly been in love with her all along insists on staying with her to keep her safe.

First this is why your a great author you see shit!. This is tough and had me really thinking about what I’m seeing when I read a book. Dark like the first Godfather movie. The cinematography was such a part of the movie. It doesn’t have to be sinister just description of deep jeweled tones. Just put that in a MC or mafia setting and I’m good to go. The darker the better with a little bullied damsel in distress thrown in.

This is a tough one……. I don’t think I really have a book vibe.
Dark, thrilling and a little snarky are the first things that come to mind!
I always struggle with these types of questions so here’s my best answer. I love all the vibes and all the tropes. I have no specific preference in general other than changing from day to day. One day I might want a sweet country romance with some sexy cowboy and then the next I might want a thriller or a dark romance. Let’s me honest, in my real life I would not have a sappy romance with some overly sweet guy. I like them right, tough and bad, just be good to me, so I like reading it too. But sometimes I don’t want any romance at all in a book.
My book vibe is dark, creepy and fantastical!

I am really into books with the painted/sprayed edges. I love the book vibe of a woman who knows herself in a horror environment she couldn’t control being left out of. Like witnessing a crime that she missteps in reporting or reacting to because of shock or her own traumas. I like the college campus vibe or historical location with details I wouldn’t expect.
Love a good banter. Mysterious, dark, intriguing and that may have funny moments.

I enjoy darker setting, world with clearly defined bad guys/ good guys and grey area where MC need to make important decisions and fight for their HEA.
My vibe usually changes with the type of mood I’m in. I can go from extremely dark to extremely light and everything in-between. I love a book that has a classic Gothic macabre feel but also a small town shiny southern brightness as well.
I don’t really have a book aesthetic. If I like the cover, I’ll usually give it a shot, especially if it’s in the romance genre.

My book vibe is strong characters that know what they want. It’s ok to doubt a situation or there to be a misunderstanding to add some angst to the plot, but fighting against your own nature or personality gets old quick in a book.

I love a beautiful spray edge book. It’s just aesthetically pleasing to read and when finish having it beautifully displayed on my book shelves. I also love the character art inside the book and separately especially the NSFW. I have some books where the NSFW is on the cover and omg it’s so pleasing and scandalous at the same time. I’m obsessed!
My vibe is intrigue, with a good person that saves the day. No whimpy characters.

Mine is chaos. I’m too suspicious if things are going well in a book.
Im a series girl but the more crossover and connection with characters the better I need to be left guessing about those conecti9ns and how they effect the plot and right now I am more dark and smarty but the smutt can’t just be there for its own sake it has to still fit in
My book vibe is kinda all over the place. I’m a mood reader so it solely depends on how I feel. Sometimes it’s dark so the aesthetic is reds black and white. Sometimes it’s playful so yellows and pinks and purple. And sometimes it’s just calm so neutral tones.
