Welcome to my annual 12 DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS!
If you’re new to this – here’s how it works:
1. Each day from December 1 through December 12 I will put up a new giveaway HERE on my website with instructions on how to enter, a detailed description of the prize, and some stuff about the book or series. Each giveaway is different and each has ONE WINNER. MY GIVEAWAYS ARE ALWAYS OPEN INTERNATIONAL
2. Each giveaway runs UNTIL DECEMBER 13.
3. Winners are CHOSEN and NOTIFIED on December 14. I will be notifying winners USING THE EMAIL USED TO COMMENT ON THIS BLOG – and all winners will BE LISTED AT THE TOP OF EACH GIVEAWAY POST HERE ON MY WEBSITE on December 14.
4. Winners have 24 hours to respond, then another winner will be chosen.
5. ALL PRIZES WILL BE MAILED ON DECEMBER 15. If I’m waiting on a winner to respond and they miss the December 15 mail date, that prize will be mailed when I get around to it. I live in the middle of nowhere so a trip to the post office is a “thing” for me. 🙂 So make sure you’re checking for winners on the 14th.
6. I will send newsletters announcing giveaways on December 1, December 6, December 12, and a Winner newsletter on December 14. I NEVER send this many newsletters in a month so sorry if that feels spammy.
7. You can also FOLLOW MY BLOG. I will also make a blog post HERE announcing ALL WINNERS on the 14th. If you want to follow this blog there will be a form at the bottom of each post to do that. Then you get an email when I POST HERE. I don’t do that often – December is the exception because of the 12 Days and my yearly “Wrap-up” post.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
THAT’S IT! I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THIS!
The world is INSANE right now so I’m just trying to spread some cheer and give back to all of you who support me and enjoy the stories I create.

WHAT ARE YOUR BIG GOALS FOR 2024
MY ANSWER
Oh, I have a LOT going on in 2024. I have written 3 books now that I have not released. There are a few reasons for this. One of them I’m holding back until the trilogy is done so I can do a rapid release. One of them is my next vampire book and I’m just too busy to do a proper release, so I’m waiting until I have more time. And the third is a HUGE Romantasy that I’m doing final edits on right now. Again, don’t have the time to release anything right now, so no dates planned as of yet. The first two even have completed audiobooks and the Romantasy is going to narrators first of the year.
I also have two side projects that I’ll be working on in the two weeks off I have between this Friday and New Years Day. One is for readers and one is for writers. (Yes, I am finally getting the writing courses up.) I have a whole website and lots of infrastructure for this project, but again, no time. So I’m making the time. Because there is no extra time. You have find room for things you want to do.
The special thing for readers is still a secret, but it’s a fun thing. Two fun things, actually.
Aside from the books I have already completed and the new projects I have FOUR more books I plan to write in 2024. The final Vampire book (at least for that trilogy). The “Cowboys” and if you’re in my FB reader group, Shrike Bikes (Link in the third ‘follow me’ option below if you want to join) then you know what the “Cowboys” are. And the second and third books in the upcoming rapid-release trilogy.
Plus one signing event at the very tail end of summer (DarkStar Con) and I have been itching to write more homeschool curriculum. I don’t “think” I’l have time for this in 2024, but if I do, this will not be science curriculum. It will be a set of ‘Learn to Read’ and “Early-Reader ” books and workbooks.
HERE’S A SNEAK PEEK OF TOMORROW’S GIVEAWAY!
BTW – THERE ARE FOUR FUN WAYS TO STAY IN TOUCH with me.
ONE – FOLLOW THIS BLOG – FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW and you will be notified via email whenever I put up a new blog post. I usually do this about once a month unless I’m having a cover reveal, or a new release, or something special like this 12 Days of Giveaways. This is not a newsletter list. It’s ONLY tied to BLOG POSTS.
Subscribe to Blog via Email
TWO – JOIN MY NEWSLETTER – you will get an email when I send a newsletter. I don’t send very many. Maybe once a month unless I’m up to something special. But you will NOT be notified of blog posts.
DON’T FORGET TO CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL or it won’t sign you up.
THREE – or if you don’t like to get emails – YOU CAN JOIN MY FACEBOOK GROUP. This is where I hang out on the daily. We’ve got a nice group going with ZERO DRAMA. And if you ever have a question about something, you can tag me in there and I’ll answer you. I’m literally in there all day, every day.
FOUR – If you like more personal things, then my Instagram is the place to be. This is where I post everyday stories about my ranch and farm animals.

My goal is to continue working on me and to be the best gramma I can
Well my goal for 2024. I am downsizing my house. I am taking better care of me. The rest will be in time, 5yr, 10yr. When you have lived the past 26 years in daily pain. Well, I appreciate each day.
My goal for 2024 is to learn how to drive hopefully I’ll get it done by the time I’m 36
Making it through the grieving process or at least being able to cope with my husbands loss.
To just eat healthier. I’ve lost weight and I want to stick with it. Thank you for the chance. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Blow the dust off my writing and be consistent.
Go on a date- it’s been decades.
Imma biggest goal for 2024 is to pay off my credit card bills and buy some land.
To move out of California and move to Texas with my grand babies🥰
2024 Goals aren’t set yet. I know I want to volunteer for events at work more. Get rid of garage and storage stuff that we’re not used in the last 12 months. And pay off debt. But most likely I’ll end up winning at naps and snacks.
To get my grandchildren home where they belong, start homeschooling my granddaughter. Lots of therapy for her.
Building another house on the property for our daughter and grandchildren. That way they are always close…
My goal is to just to be the best parent I can be to my girls and survive the teen years 😂🤣
I know this sounds very cliche but diet and exercise. I have started an exercise program early that I am now in day 15 so far so good. I also want to connect with my family more. We get so busy with our daily lives that sometimes we forget about what’s really important to us. So just trying to be a better person for my grandchildren and myself.
My biggest goal is to get back to work. The strike that lasted pretty much all year was very stressful, not to mention emotionally and financially draining. So time to get back up, and get back out there.
My big goal for 2024 is to pay off some debt and actually get ahead
My 2024 goals are to be able to get passed my mailbox. I really want to beat my agoraphobia. But mostly I really would like to get my house organized and cleaned up and cleaned out of needless things hanging around.
My goals are to take care of my health, be more consistent and I’d really like to develop a hobby or new skill. Thank you so much for the chance!
to travel to Scotland.
Get my life back in order. I think I might possibly have ADHD and I’m struggling.
My goals for 2024 is to travel a lot and take so culinary classes because I love cooking and I want to get better at it
Thanks
Martha L
My goal for 2024 is to be the best person I can be.
With so many horrible things happening in the world, I tend to get overwhelmed with helplessness. My goal is to help my mental health by focusing on the things I can control and assist where I can.
Big goals are to finish some home Reno’s
My biggest goals are house related. I need a shit ton of trees cut down on my property. I definitely need a great beach trip this year.
We are committed to continuing our health journey, celebrating our sons wedding in January and going on many fun adventure in the new year.
Hoping to take my sister and nephew to Disneyland Paris. 🤞🏻
My biggest goal for 2024 is to relocate, hopefully nearer to where my elderly aunt lives, she’s in Maine and I’m in the State of Washington. I think life on the East Coast of the US is pretty good, heard food prices are lower as well.
2024 – get back in the game with work. I feel like I’ve been just floating along, not really putting my all into my career.
I also want to spend more time growing with my family; my kids are getting older and I want to help them learn and grow. Again, I’m just going with the flow and need to be more engaged with their lives.
I’m really hoping to get in better shape and start making some routines so it becomes habit
So many goals. I need to get a job. I’m not making losing weight a goal, but instead I’m making exercise a goal. Then I really need to work on decluttering!
I don’t really have a goal for next year.
The hubby and I have been having lots of discussions this year about the next few years ahead and when he will decide to retire. My job is to start scouting places to move to. We don’t plan to stay in Vegas, we want to move East and my plan is to get us as close to our oldest son as possible. I’m looking at the tri-state area of Tennessee/North Carolina/Virginia. We’ll see.
My goal for 2024 is to continue to lose weight for my health. I lost 160lbs and I’m now at a good spot I just want to stay this way. Thank you.
My goals are to finish losing the weight I need to, pay down my debt, do more crafting and read more.
One of my big goals for 2024 is to pay off my credit card and get out of debt. I also want to be able to go out on a date…maybe. 6 years single and sometimes I feel I’m ready and most of the time I feel like I’m not. The unknown is scary.
One of my main goals for 2024 is to narrate at least 50 books and also have the chance to do a romance book with any of my favorite male narrators e.g. Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, Joe Arden, Shane East …I know that is one in a million but I can certainly dream….
I love the men in Creeping Beautiful series….thank you Julie
I don’t do big goals. For me, it’s an exercise in failure. However, I do have a focus. I want to move more. That’s it. Just move more. I’ve got some pretty daunting obstacles. If I’m feeling really ambitious, I’ll add getting more sleep. Crazy, I know.
My big goal for 2024 is to finally finish my schooling. Although there will always be continuing ed for my job I am excited about bring done with all the mandatory classes where I have no say in what I want to learn.
I hope to be more health conscious and part of that plan is going on more hikes. They are great for physical and mental health! I am surrounded by national forests with great trails so its time to take advantage of them!
Make major progress on downsizing the stuff in my basement.
To teach my kiddo to drive. Honestly, I have never been more terrified of anything in my life.
To stay at a level of health that I’ve battled to get to. Hopefully to keep improving and waking up to some pain-free amazing days!
Next year..I want to travel more (especially to somewhere I’ve never been) and to visit family more..I recently had a cousin pass away at a fairly young age and it made me realize you have to make time for family and friends that you don’t see all the time as they may not be there the next time,
The short answer?? Get out of debt. When we moved from California to Arkansas it cost a lot more than we expected and we have been trying to get out of the hole. Christmas will not be the same this year but we are blessed and we will be together. 💕
Creeping Beautiful, my absolute obsession! These are my favorite books <3
Anyway, my goals for 2024 are to get healthier, budget better, and have the best time ever at Dark Con which I can not wait for!
Continuing to eat healthy. Merry Christmas 🎄
I want to get back to a healthy weight. I’m only 10-15 lbs away but I’ve gotten out of my healthy eating/exercising habits.
Next year my husband and I will be celebrating our 30th Wedding anniversary and will be cruising to Alaska with 3 other couples, looking forward to relaxing and seeing all the wildlife we can!
We will also be doing a little travel to visit our 4 grandchildren in Maine.
Later next year I will be turning the big 5-0… with that goals is to do more self care, weight management rollercoaster is always on the list! Another goal is to volunteer for complex projects at work and last but certainly not least is to enjoy all the books I can!
Happy Holidays!
Just started listening to this series again. Not sure what my goals for 2024 are, happy to keep plodding along, spending time with my family who I’m so proud of, getting lots of hugs and loves from the younger grandchildren and to keep enjoying life ❤️
I don’t have a big goal. I want to continue working on my health but it’s very overwhelming. I want to find things that make me happy because I’ve struggled this year.
Very excited to be a part of your 2024 🥰
I have a lot of smaller goals I hope to accomplish including getting my self a little healthier. That takes time. A big goal or is to have my elderly parents settled more where it is easier for them in their final years. They are both 83 and stubborn.
I have a new job starting 1/1/24, so getting that sorted will be my main goal for 2024. I am also hoping to be a grandmother this year – but that isn’t up to me!
I just started a small business and my #1 goal for 2024 is to make it as successful as I can.
My goals for 2024 would be to continue praying, continuing listening to positive affirmations and to not focus so much on doubting myself despite what life has been/felt like.
My big “goals” for 2024 is to stay sober, find a better job, and spend time getting to know myself again.
Self-pub! I’m so excited about your writer stuff, I’ve studied everything about it you’ve already put up!
I have toomanu goals, but that will help drive me. First is to schedule, plan and take a family vacation of which we have not done in 6 years. Something new and exciting. We deserve some family fun. Next is a professional one, I want get off salary and on the comp plan which is a big step. Last one is to work on me and my health both physically and mentally. Going to be a good year!
My goals for 2024 is to get all the little things done in our new house. We moved in the end of April and I keep finding more to do!
Walking again without crutches \o/
I have three goals for 2024. 1. Write a first draft for the book I’ve been meaning to write for the last decade. 2. Get in at least 6,000 steps every single day. 3. Stop eating when I’m full.
Well, my oldest is getting married, first one, it’s our 20th wedding anniversary and my husband turns 50 so its a big year! Maybe a grandchild if I’m lucky! My goal is to enjoy the heck out of 2024!
My goal for 2024 is to get back into my walking kick and spend more time with my kids and husband.
My goal for 2024 is to embrace more joy and fun.
My goal for 2024 is to get the house decluttered and organized again! I’m tired of looking at stuffed closets where you can’t find anything 🤪
I’m semi retired, but I have several projects to do to our house before I fully quit working. Also, I have a bit two week trip planned. I’m not telling too many people about it because I don’t want to jinx it. But I’m looking forward to 2024.
My big plans for 2024, is to go on a trip, just go somewhere new and explore!
Get off my lazy butt and improve my health and diet.
Goals for 2024
Be healthier and get used to my new retired Husband. I’m still working and he’s retiring.
Figure out why I am so tired all the time.
Maybe work towards doing my tax paperwork all year instead of at the last minute
Wow Julie, I sure love how your mind works and all your goals for 2024. My goals are to keep up with all your releases as soon as they are out!!😁
My goal for 2024 is to make as many memories with my husband while we can. He has stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma so every day counts. We’re planning a trip to Amsterdam in the fall.
To convince my husband we need to go to Alaska this summer, a definite bucket list trip for me. Life is too short to keep waiting.
My goal for 2024 is to have a successful return to work (at a different location). I am off on a medical leave because the harassment and bullying was so bad from some coworkers (think mean girls) and my admin that I had heart palpitations, couldn’t sleep & dreaded going to work. My admin was an expert as gas lighting and I had enough, put myself and my health first and went off work. With the help of an exceptional therapist, I am doing so much better now that I am away from the toxic work environment!
My goals in 2024 are to spend as much time as I can with my new granddaughter!! Other than that nothing set in stone. 😀
My big goals for this new year and to try and relax more. It has been a very bad year. I have to learn that things are out of my control sometimes and to deal with things as they come.
I really don’t have any goals for next year.
Growour business more and gain more customers and contacts
My big goal is to try to start writing again – even if it’s only a paragraph a day, I’ll get there!
This year kicked my ass hard, so 2024 is going to be a year of recovery. I also want to make my writing a priority again.
I will be moving from my lifelong home. I am heartsick but I have to.
Big goal for 2024 is to finish the book I’ve been writing and working on for years.
I’m hoping my heart issues cause is finally found and treated but that one is more so on my drs than me. All I can do is keep fighting for answers.
A goal in my control is to actually put words on paper for the based on true life story that is living in my head, but dang that self doubt voice is so damn loud.
Goal is to be more organized!
Goals for 2024 is to read more books in a year. Actually, I’d like to spend more time with my family. Schedules are hard to organize. I also Need to stop getting hurt. I just broke 2 ribs. In Feb I broke 4. It has to stop.
Not my goal but my son goes to kindergarten next year and I’m a bit nervous about it. I hope it ‘ll going smoothly.😅 Thanks for the chance!❤️
Well, I hope full that the job I applied for I will get. So I will get to start a new adventure at a new job.
My first and most important goal in 2024 is to get my diabetes under control. I think my most immediate concern is to find time to work out.
Secondly, I would really love to learn a new language.
Last but not least, I really want to concentrate on my book blog/SNS. I have been reading for almost 4 years now and I have started a book blog about 2 years ago. I have been neglecting it due to my pregnancy and my new responsibilities with motherhood. In 2024, with my daughter turning 4 and my son turning 1 year old, hopefully I will finally have the luxury of time to beef up my book blog and IG.
I want to learn how to swim next year.
My goal for 2024 is to maintain my weight loss from the last year.
My goals are to continue to exercise and loose weight. I’m also hopping to do more de-cluttering and turn our extra bedroom into and office.
2024 is a big year for us! We will have our 31st anniversary, our son will graduate from high school and our daughter will graduate from college all within 3 days, so we are taking a 3 week family trip to Europe to celebrate. I feel like it’s our last opportunity before “adulting” responsibilities take over their lives and significant others will factor into their free time. I’m really excited to have one more big family adventure together!
My goals for 2024 is definitely to get toned up and exercise daily. Need to get back to myself after having my son. The other one is to work remotely so I can take care of my son since he’s so small. Lastly I want to make moves to make more money.
I don’t really have goals or make resolutions. I just play it by ear and one day at a time.
I have so many goals for next year, but my main ones are to get my work life under control and back on track….this year has been insane!!!
That will also help me get back on track for my home/married life and get me healthier. I’m exhausted all the time….do not want to deal with issues at either place right now. I just pray I can get it together enough to accomplish it!!
To finish my barn to make it for my dog rescue
My goal is to try to downsize and organize my house.
My goals for 2024 are to continue to stay healthy. Which means following my doctors orders. I am super bad at this. And to get my husbands truck loan paid off. One thing off our monthly budget.
My big goal for 2024 is not to die – I have a broken heart.
Just to be happy and healthy. And to read lots and lots of books
My goal is to increase my exercise routine!
My goals for 2024 are to just keep working on getting my body in better shape to help with all the back problems. Also to spend more time with my grand babies.
My goals are to finally finish the book I’ve been writing for the past 10 years. Not that it will make any kind of splash but I want to do it for me!!
And also, get in better shape, which is always a goal.
Thanks and cheers xx
I want to lose weight. I started a thyroid medication about six months ago and I have put on weight. I don’t like the feeling.
It sounds super vague, but I want to find some purpose in 2024. I feel like I’ve been floundering for years with no true direction. Maybe venture toward one of my pipe dreams. That would be something!
My goal for 2024 is to get my home made goodies up for sale in an Etsy shop and local craft shows 😀 Hopefully this will be there year to get it done!
Biggest goals: be able to walk again likely thru surgery but happy if turns out can be done thru less extreme measures (I find out later this week.) I imagine rehab & then a goal I already had, more exercise. Lose weight, which has lately been stymied but I was on a bit of a roll. (Altho it’s more than the above commenter’s 10-15 lbs). Make sure all finances are in order, bc I got particularly sloppy this last quarter [hope tax auditors aren’t your biggest clientele] & finally go back to being a much more effective caregiver. It’s horrifying, truly horrifying to have your shaky ill 84 yr old mother w Alzheimer’s coming in to YOUR room to ask if she can do anything to help. (She actually fell 2 days ago. Luckily she didn’t broke a bone and tho she hit her head fairly badly, there was no loss of cognitive function. That is to say, no further loss.) I can’t even express how low I’ve fallen in my responsibilities by that action- her coming to help me. I’m fairly certain there’s a special place in hell for children supposedly caring for a parent switching places w the ill parent. I’d prefer not to end up there. Perhaps that’s not so much a goal as a prayer. Or both.
But while still here & before being judged, your books have given me a necessary escape – when possible – to different worlds, other places than our apartment and for that, I truly thank you with all my heart! ❤️ Enjoy the upcoming holiday season!!
My goal for this coming year is to get my house fully furnished with brand new furniture. All of our stuff really took a beating moving every 2-4 years for 20+ years with my husband’s military career. I have been slowly replacing things but it is very expensive. Plus I hate shopping, so even though this is something I want, the shopping part of it all isn’t fun for me so it’s taking a while. I just need to suck it up and get it done so I don’t have to think about it anymore.
My big goal is to downsize all the junk we have, especially sitting around in the basement. I look at it and I cringe when I see how much work will be involved. But, it needs to get done.
In 2024 I am hoping to move my daughter home and get my husband’s health back on track.
Have a more successful year with my business, would love to get a friend for Tommy & a new car. Last not least good health & to be happy
My goals for 2024 are to declutter my house, get my kitchen repaired, get my yard landscaped, and to set the date for my knee replacement surgery
hopefully planning a family vacation
My big goal for 2024 is to resolve some medical issues. I found a new doctor who has ideas.
My fin goal is to attend a couple of author events. Dark Star is one. I haven’t been to any since Covid.
That is supposed to say FUN goal.
To get healthy.
My goal in 2024 is read more books. My reading has seriously declined this year not exactly sure why but it’s annoying me. So yes READ MORE BOOKS ALI (I’m shouting at myself 🤣)
My goal for the next year is to get my health in order and lose some weight
My current contract ends in 2023, so #1 is get new contract….
Help daughter finish her home rehab, once she and her critters move, we will update our home.
Continue planning for retirement.
My biggest goal for 2024 is to chabge jobs move out of California, currently looking at Alaska.
I want my body and mind to start working together and make me exercise snd eat right in order to be healthy.
My goals for 2024 are to try and control my anxiety, make more time for my family, advocate for myself 100% better and live every single day and cherish every moment. Thanks so much ♥️ Merry Christmas everyone ☃️ 🎅🎄
I plan to keep working to get my physical back to what is was before my two operations this year
One of my goals for 2024 is to eat more healthier then I do now because when I am at work I tend to eat out or not at all. To be more active, I have a desk job so I am always sitting and I don’t do the walking I use to do.
Have our house redone like replacing the roof, redoing the kitchen and master bath. Lastly travel more with my husband and maybe the kids.
I would like to be more active and social in 2024
I’d like to say I have some grand plans but I don’t just pay off some bills and maybe lose some weight
My BIG GOALS FOR 2024 are 1) find a new job that i actually enjoy and 2) loss a significant amount of weight. Both huge endeavors but I am READY!
My main goal is to quit smoking and be healthier so I can have weight loss surgery. I’m slowly working towards the goal already.
I have a huge goal for this coming year. I am planning on selling our family home and moving away completely. Since losing my husband this year, we have decided, as a family, to make this change together so we will all relocate. Exciting, but daunting. It won’t be easy to leave the home in which we raised our children, but change can be good. 🤞🫰
I love this book…AND I have this book signed! Lol! I never really have goals for the New Year. Just to be healthy and happy and to keep moving forward. Happy holidays, Julie! 🎄
My goal for 2024 is to continue to exercise and rehab my knee(torn meniscus)
My goals are to actually finish some works in progress and get back into an exercise routine other than skating with my daughter’s hockey team.
My big goal is to hopefully get my business growing
My goal for 2024 is finding my way to better health and improved balance in my life.
I’m honestly not a goal setter (not sure if that’s a good thing or not lol) but at best I have tentative plans. I hope to be able to get married in 2024 and possibly start on growing our family, in whatever way that may be. This plan started in 2020, and as you might can put together, things did not work out the way we expected lol. But that’s life! 🙂
Eating healthier & exercising. My husband & I decided we want to lose weight and be healthier. We’ve already started by cutting out sodas & rice from our meals. I bought us a sodastream so we are drinking bubbly water instead of sodas. And I’ve started buying cauliflower rice instead of grain rice. We’re on our second week of “healthier habits”. So far the kids haven’t complained about our changes in meals so that is a plus for us. It’s really hard making separate meals.
My big goal is to knit up my large stash of yarn as I’m running out of storage space. So lots of blankets, scarves, jumpers and cosy shawls!
My big goal for 2024 is to invest in myselfand do things I actually enjoy and make me happy. Like hiking more.
Cannot wait to read your upcoming releases!! Major goals for me going into 2024, there are a few. One, to get in better shape physically since I am turning 40 this year. Two, I have ADD and I struggle with keeping organized, so my goal is to find better ways of managing organization at least within my home. Three, be more health conscious in my eating habits. Four, become more financially stable and reduce debt.
To be better organized, expand my business, and have a little more ‘me’ time to do the things I enjoy, like read more books!
My biggest goal is to quit smoking and also to go to the gym more
To travel more and not take any days for granted, life is too short.
My goal for 2024 is self acceptance. Loving myself and seeing the good things in myself as seen by others…such a Lofty goal but I just want to find peace in my heart and acceptance.
My Goal for 2024 , exercise a lot and loss weight, my so is getting married in May 2024 so I really need to loss weight. Also I would like to read more
Finalizing my divorce and if it’s fate to find my true mate
Read as much as I can, try to lose a few pounds, have a few house projects that need to be done, maybe get a new dog…
The first goal is to find out what’s wrong with my hands and that they are getting better.
Then I’d like to go on with my first book.
And to save as much money as possible to be able to buy a farm soon.
I need to take more time off work and go on mini family vacations.
My biggest goal is to buy a house. I’ve always rented but would love to have a fixer upper.
My biggest goal for 2024 is to use my planner to its full potential tracking goals, exercise, and budgeting – basically getting super organized so I don’t stress out and have all the opportunities for success. I also have goals relating to health (quitting smoking) and finances (save more money) but the organization will help with those.
My main goal for 2024 is to get control of my health and lose weight. My other goal is to continue to read/ listen to books.
Since I have retired my goals are different than when I worked. I feel these are better goals for me personally. With that said my goals are to continue to workout at the gym, travel in our little camper to National Park hopefully Glacier, do some more traveling and spend time with family.
My main goal is to have total knee replacements on both of my Knees.
My main goal is to improve my walking distance. I also have a quilt I would like to finish. A sweater that I am knitting I want to finish and a cross stitch project that I hope to finish in 2024
My goals for 2024 include some of the basic ones that will last a few days and will enevitably will fall by the wayside. Those are the ones everyone thinks about for New Year’s Resolutions- lose weight, eat healthier and try to cut back on my chocoholic obsession. I also plan on finishing 2 books I started writing during Covid. First time I have ever tried to write anything, so, I’m not sure if I’ll be brave enough to let someone else read them. The first book is almost done and I’m on the Epilog, but I just feel like there is something missing. The second book is close to the end, but I’m trying to decide if I want to add one more scene/event. It is in my head so badly, but I can’t seem to figure out how to put it on paper that makes sense the way it does in my head. I have had to change some stuff around because 3 or 4 times now I have had stuff written down and I loved it, only to find out there is an almost identical scene/event in another book I read AFTER I had already written it into my story. It must be good if some of my favorite authors stole the ideas from my head and published them. Lol So this year, I will be brave enough to let someone else read what I have written.
Biggest goals are a home reno and a trip for the husband’s birthday. Hoping we have enough savings for both, yikes!
In 2024, I’m looking forward to celebrating by 20th anniversary. We’ve rented a house on the beach and it will be great. I’m also looking forward to having a high school senior next year.
I’m not much of a goal setter, but a couple of bigger projects I hope to tackle include downsizing my craft supplies to what I actually use, not what I think would be useful “one day.” I think it must be FOMO, innate FOMO that I inherited from my Dad who would keep a calendar from 1977 because it could be used again one day when the days are all the same, right?? Time to ditch the Barbies I saved for my nieces who never played with them, and the legos that have been outgrown. Less for family to have to sort through if I get kidnapped by a sexy guy and leave my life behind.
My goal is similar. I finished writing my first novel this year. Almost done with my second. Hope to write the third by summer (I’m a slow writer) then release them in fall and winter.
I don’t have one. For real. I just want to keep doing what I’m doing and it’ll be enough.
My goal is to get my health under control; I’ve worked on getting into the gym this year but need to work on my eating habits & mental health. I’m also looking for the ‘prefect’ job to give me the flexibility I would like to enjoy time with my kids. Currently work part-time but would like full-time since they are in both school now.
My biggest goal in 2024 is to find a job in my field now that I have graduated. I am also going to be working hard on getting into a class for editing here in denver. However it is very hard to get into.
My goal for 2024 is to help my mother with my dad who has metastatic cancer get through his treatments.
Become a healthier version of me. Already going to the gym, but need to figure out nutrition stuff.
My main focus is just to focus on the positive and be the best person I can be. And hopefully plan a vacation!
To save money so that I can go on holiday abroad in the summer, lose weight and take knitting classes.
My goal for 2024 is to stick with my healthy eating habits and to get out more with friends.
We have a 3 year goal to save and buy a house, so for this year we are working on paying off our debts so we can start saving.
My husband and I are working on a small business together called Blue Ridge Artworks, hope to have the website up in January- selling handmade charcuterie boards and knife racks out of exotics wood and resin, also going to sell other resin art, canvas art and jewelry that I have made. Would like to go to our nearby summer festivals. It is something we enjoy doing together. I just love every piece we have created so far.
Plans for 2024, to get in more travel jobs this year, & focus on learning more about narrating. I’m interested in it, & who knows, maybe it could become my full time hustle. Idk, I’m not an actor or anything, but I would like to learn more about it & focus more on my reading this year too. So 2 birds 1 stone kind of thing…Merry Christmas 🎄
exercise more
My biggest goal is to get back to work somewhere since my old job got shut down because of Covid and the higher cost of products being shipped in. Also, keep my health issues in check.
My goals for 2024 are: To help myself and both my parents get through the year since I am caregiver and since I write for fun hopefully, I can get two books written.
My fun goal is to travel to Ireland. My other goal seems rudimentary, but I want to organize my house. Now that the kids have moved out, we have years of “stuff” that isn’t needed or wanted. Papers, receipts, old files are just some things that need to be sorted because they are simply out of control. I just hope it doesn’t take me most of 2024 to succeed.
My goal for 2024 is to take better care of myself, and I’m planning a trip to Japan.
Thanks for the opportunity!
My goals for 2024 are to pay off some debt, get more organized, take better care of myself, and go on more adventures.
in 2024 I plan to remove all the toxins in my life people and things. I plan to travel a bit, work on me, and read a lot lol.
Recover from knee surgery and finish grad school!
My big goal for 2024 is to help my daughter and her Girl Scout troop earn their Bronze Award. It’s the second step toward the Gold Award and my daughter wants that bad! Gold Award is equal to Eagle Scout for Boy Scouts. The Gold Award makes the girls eligible for college scholarships, internships, looks really good on college applications and all kinds of stuff. So much of my year will be spent doing a lot of research, paperwork and legwork to help her reach that goal.
I have a goal to get serious about getting debt paid down so I have money to invest.
My goals are pretty simple this year. Live healthy and spend more time with family and friends.
My goal is to continue to lose weight and get healthier. We also want to finally get our kitchen remodeled (we are doing it ourselves)
One of my goals for 2024 is to take better care of me.
Hi Julie,
I love that you write curriculum too. I teach business at a community college, so I am constantly writing curriculum. My big goals for 2024 are to finish adopting all of the new textbooks for my classes and start writing one of my own (business law – trying to find the sexy in that LOL). ~A

My goal is to go to nursing school to become an rn and become individually stable. I would love to read a lot of books this year
To get my house more organized
my big goals for 2024 are to get my home organized completely and try and lose some stubborn baby weight.
Wow, Julie. Those are some goals you got there. I don’t really have anything concrete to achieve but I’d love to take a big trip with my husband for our 25th anniversary. It’s hard to arrange since my kids are still living home and need things but that’s my goal. Finger crossed 🤞
Find a new job.
To get back on track with diet and exercise. To also build back up my savings-got very lax with that.
To hit my goal weight
To move better so that my husband and I can enjoy our vacations. I have had difficulty with walking, standing for long periods of time since my ACL replacement last year.
This may sound strange… BUT I wish to make it a year without so much death and sadness. These past couple of years have almost broken me with the amount of loss in my life.
My goal is to find a new job with better hours so I can have more time for side projects/hobbies I want to start.
To get my health back on track
My big goals for 2024 are to be kinder, more thankful, more patient, slow to anger, quick to forgive, appreciate the small things, love unconditionally, and take better care of myself.
Thank you for all these amazing and generous giveaways! Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Goals for motivation: travelling, reading and working on staying healthy.
In addition my son Is getting married and a real goal is to have him and his bride have fun and great memories
Getting settled in our new house and finishing the yard! Lots of work goals to advance in my position. And of course the standard lose weight, drink water and be healthier (hope to stick to this one this year!!!)
My goal for 2024 is to build up my savings more and write a review for every single book I read. I’m on book 193 this year and that’s not counting beta and alpha reading but I think I’ve acutally reviewed less than 1/3 of them.
I want to pay off debt and save more.
My goals are to stay healthy and to seriously declutter the house and get rid of things
we’ve held on to for years and really don’t need.
Read more..I have slacked off a bit toward the end of this year. Spend more time with family.
I’m trying not to have a surgery in 2024. I’ve had 33 surgeries. One every year; some years two. I’m trying to stay healthy and happy in 2024.
Remain cancer free
Adventuring! Going to a Disturbed concert in February, an Alaskan cruise in April/May and Dark Star Con in September. And spending more time in my sewing shop doing what I love.
My goal is to loose another 20 pounds in addition to the 10 that I have already lost
I would love to go back to school to get a higher paying job. I’d love to do sonography!!! I have completed about half of a bachelor’s in bio-med but don’t think I’ll finish it. I’m 37 and I feel like I’m too old to go back to school but would love it all the same. For the love of it but also money talks 😊
Big goal is to downsize our belongings
My goal for 2024 is to focus on what is important in life and not fall into the trap of self doubt.
No true life-changing goals. Continue to see my grandchildren as often as possible, continue fixing up my house, and cross stitching.
My goals for 2024 are to lose some weight so I can be healthier & hopefully better manage my MS. Also to craft, scrapbook & read more.
I try not to set goals per se, that way I’m not too let down when (notice I didn’t say if, lol) I break them. I do need a new vehicle though. So that, I guess, could be my soft goal.
In general be healthier and do something just for me once a week.
My goal for 2024 is to find a profession that I am passionate about!
We have started renovations in our home in the city. Our boys are living there throughout the renovations as it’s on direct bus routes to their work and schools respectively. We want to complete the renovations and hopefully sell the house for a good profit. Barring the possibility of a good profit we will rent the house to gain income. Of course get more camping in during the summer months a must and plan our next vacation destination all while spending as much time with our family we can.
Work less, garden and read more and just find the positive in every negative.
To be less poor!
My big goals are to travel and maybe start a new job.
My goal is to get my health under control. I have two torn shoulders and need to get at least one fixed. I’d really like to get that done.
I have to get healthier and cut back on treats
My biggest goals for 2024 are to lose weight for my health and spend more quality time with my grandsons. The first will not be easy, and the second, well, time just seems to slip away.
volunteering more
To put more money away for retirement.
I spent most of 2023 in survival mode, I want to get back to living in 2024!
My biggest goal is to be more active on social media, by blogging and getting a book published.
To be more patient. To listen more
My main 2024 goal is to allow myself to take more ME time and ask for help. I always feel guilty asking for help but I need to start taking better care of this tired mommy. Happy mommy equals happy family
Every year I say lose weight. While it is still one of my goals, this year I’m spending my time getting rid of clutter. Learning how to let go of things that really have no value in my life.
I just turned 60 and I want to get healthier to be around a long time for my family.
I hope to get more motivated and organized.
My 2024 goal is Im starting a new job on January 2nd. I hope to love it and spoil my grandkids a bit more.
To lessen the pain I have daily
Big goals that I have for 2024- get toned, lose around 45lbs, pay for my daughter’s wedding and top my reading goal from 2023, which is currently sitting at 190 as of today.
I haven’t really given goals a thought yet… But for years that’s been a struggle. I think I would like to make one goal for 2024 to focus on building my own business.
My big goals are to continue to eat healthier and take a trip to Australia or Rarotonga to see my sisters.
I need to learn how to treat my body better. I don’t drink, smoke or take any recreational drugs, but I do eat too much takeout food. There are too many things that I like. I also need to get into better shape. We’ll see what I can do!
I want to read more books than this year. I will continue to pay down my bills with the goal to be debt free by the end of the year. Another goal is to clean and organize my junk room. Merry Christmas!
My goal for 2024 is to complete several creative projects that are half finished and to begin new projects.
Be happy. Make my beloved ones happy. Enjoy myself and life in general.
My goal for 2024 is to find balance in my life- I feel like I have trouble staying in healthy patterns & end up back in bad habits. So I am hoping to find the balance between being healthy and being happy without denying myself the little things.
My big goal for 2024 is actually to relax a bit more. I think stress might actually be killing me, and it would be lovely to not get sick all the time!
My goal is to get a better handle on my health
My biggest goal for 2024 is to finish my dissertation. I have carried this project for far too long. The weight is oozing into other areas of my life. I am ready for FREEDOM! After I complete my PhD, the next items are to start a new career/ job, go to Puerto Rico, Dubai or Hawaii, and make my home my sanctuary again.
I have two big events happening next year and I’m going back to the gym to get into better shape for those events. The first event is in late August, and my hubby and I will be attending the Dark Star book Con. The second event is taking a trip to Salem, MA for Halloween and attending the Witches Ball. I need to hit the gym, not because I’m over weight, but because I want to tone everything up. At age 47, it gets a little more difficult every year to keep in shape. I want to look so damn good in my dresses, for both events, that I knock my hubby out with one look! After almost 27 yrs of marriage, the man still makes my heart beat fast! Well, I guess I do have a third goal. That goal is to meet you, Julie, next year at the Con! 🙂
I am really serious about proving my health in 2024. Not just to lose weight, but to become healthier overall…getting more sleep, getting back to the gym, eliminating processed foods and limiting dairy & sugars.
The other big thing in 2024 is a two week vacation in Italy. I’m so excited! I haven’t taken a true vacation since 2010, and I am way overdue!
My goal is to get myself healthier so I can do more things that I love !
Be kind to others even if they aren’t so kind to me,
My goal is to find and spend more time for myself, do things that I love, or discover new things that I like. Oh, and finally get my degree, which I’ve totally neglected while raising my two daughters… 🫣😳
I guess my main goal for 2024 is to be more patient. I’m a hot-headed Aries and I have a bad habit of snapping at my family when I’m irritated. I’d like to learn to breathe and count to 10 before I strike. Haha.
I’m attempting to become fluent in German so hoping I can achieve that in 2024
My goals for 2024….
1. Lose weight. (That’s every year’s goal.
2. Read more books
3. Travel more
4. Enjoy more family time.
2024 is quickly approaching and I really haven’t set goals yet. I do know there are many areas of my house that need purged. I’d really like to get some stitching projects finished. Hmm – sounds like a beginning of a list!!
My goals for 2024 are to get my editing business up and running also improve my PA business
I want to finish all of my started projects. I have quilt tops done that need to be added to bottoms, crochet projects, and so many more in different stages of completion. I need to get them finished!
1. I want to be more healthy… not necessarily loose weight, but just eat better and exercise more…
2. Read more and get my family to join in…. Get the kids into audiobooks….
3. Go camping at least once a month…
My goal is to find out what is going on with my health. It’s been a crazy few months and have several appointments in January so I hope I get answers. Then I want to clear out the mess in my place. We emptied our storage space and we have so much shit to go through!
I have my biggest goals yet for 2024, I’m helping my daughter make the best choices for her after she graduates. She has college, a vet assistant program or a job and maybe a mix of some of these options. Some of it’s limited by finances or working out a schedule and all of it by hard work and determination. I am very fortunate to have a daughter who listens to advice from her and dad and me. We sit down, list out every option and talk about different scenarios until we work out what work best. My daughter’s struggle with ADD has made her so determined in everything that she does and I am just so excited to help her figure out what will work best for her in all avenues of her life. This is truly a year to look forward to for our family, YAY! 🙂
Lose weight and get some items checked off my bucket list.
Travel more- time to tick off those wish list vacations
My big goal for 2024 is to beat my cancer and regain my health.
Finish paying off my car, retire early and improve my fitness. I work 12 hour shifts sitting and it’s boring, exhausting and so very hard on my body.
Organize my house so I have time to do crafts
My big goal for 2024 is cliche but my bf and I did really well at health things in 2021-2022 and then 2023 fell off the wagon hard! So this year we are getting back on track and really trying to get our physical health to a decent place. I also want to thoroughly de-clutter and organize my house.
And I’m super excited for the new books you described!
I haven’t sat down and thought about goals for 2024 as of yet, but since you ask I think it is time to evaluate what I would like to accomplish in 2024 and set a plan in motion so I can achieve these goals. The typical goals that is on my list every year:
a. change my lifestyle to a healthier lifestyle
b. pay down my bad debt
c. improve my good debt
d. relocate to a new state, town, city, suburbs (my forever home)
e. help my son keep focus on his goals
f. transition into a new role at my job
That’s all I can think about today.
My big goals are to keep myself and my family healthy and happy, as best as I can.
I do not really have any special projects or goals for 2024. I just enjoy my day to day life to the best of my ability.
Focusing on continuing to organize!
Get rid on one item each day! So at the end of the year, I will have gotten rid of 365 items!!
My main goals for 2024 are to pay off my debt and to lose 50 pounds.
My big goal for 2024 is making it to my 25th wedding anniversary in June. Another goal is seeing my oldest daughter graduate from college in May.
No matter what life throws at me, my goal is to find at least a little bit of joy (not to be confused with happiness) every single day. Every step I take by physical, emotional, and spiritual self-care, practicing mindfulness and gratitude, connecting with nature, and sharing my joy with others is a step toward achieving my overall goal of finding my joy.
As Mac Davis sang in the 1970’s: “You got to stop and smell the roses. You’ve got to count your many blessings every day…”. Who’d of thunk a 16-year-old girl would learn a valuable life lesson from a catchy tune on her transistor radio? Yeah, I’m THAT old!
Lose weight so that I can get to the bypass surgery and after that I want to travel to some destinations on my bucket list.
Exercise more.
Practice more self care and get out of some debt!!
For me I’d like to be healthy and thriving.
Finishing the work on the home we bought ..having better health hopefully
Putting myself out there more.
Well, Goal #1 will be to re-paint my bathroom. Goal #2 will be to re-carpet my family room. Goal #3 will be to have the outside of my home painted. Not sure how many of these I’ll accomplish, but I hope I can at least get #1 done! LOL
Get in shape and feel better
I have no big goals except to try and be happy and I am going to be a Nana to my third grandchild in June so I guess that would be a goal. To be the greatest most awesome Nana around to all three of my grandchildren 4 year old Avary Rose and 2 year old Leon Daniel and the new baby boy.
Rejoin the gym and get in shape.
My goal is to finish unpacking from my move of 4 months ago. I want to find a place for everything, get it organized and finish hanging all my art and pictures.
I guess my goals are boring. I want to be more organised. Stop procrastinating and make big decisions. Work on my house, do some decorating and hopefully 2024 will be a better year.
to win some fabulous prizes
My goal right now is just to be healthy.
My goal is to get my Poshmark and Etsy running better and quit my job selling on eBay for a local consignment store. I have been selling for her for 20 years and she is driving me crazy. It is time for me to move on to do my own thing.
Get my bedroom, and more specifically my closet, organized and purged.
to have a quiet year! 😆 2023 was so crazy busy that I just want a quiet year! no crazy ups and downs and big changes!
Read more, travel more and choose healthier food habits.
Be more active in my community.
Hopefully finally my house will start being built. I can start shopping for windows, doors, kitchen cabinets, counters and all the fun stuff to make this house a home. More reading and volunteering.
I hope to finish up some home improvements I want to get done. Finish my very first homemade quilt I’ve ever made. (For my Mom)
Be happy I am my biggest enemy. I don’t allow myself happiness have success carrier 4 kinds …. Feel alone have husband wonderful man still lonely
I’d really like to find the time/energy to get some home reno done; been meaning to get started for a while.
I’d love to manage my time better in 2024. Prioritize and get my life organized. I’d love to add some me time.
Get my son a a new IDP for his learning disabilities to help ease the burden on school. Figuring out the best ways to help him learn and feel better about learning.
To manage my time and to get my son, who has autism, get a little more motivated to go out and try to socialize
one of my goals is to start taking yoga again…it really relaxes and calms
I look forward to experiencing the joy that comes with accomplishing my goals in 2024 and each day I will write one thing for which I am grateful.
1) I will prioritize self-care & my mental state and reach my optimal health before Christmas 2024.
2) I will endeavour to wake up earlier three times a week so that I can start a new hobby to complete colouring my creative Bible by 31 December 2024.
3) My goals will allow me to have a positive impact on the world and I will be the happiest I have ever been before the year ends.
To try to get us more out of debt…….
For 2024, I plan to lose some more weight and get healthy. I may even go ahead and get the knee replacement surgery that I need. Been putting it off for about 4 years, and I can only get one a year.
To have healthier habits (earing and exercising)!
My big goal is to make my house look like a home. I have barely ever out anything on the walls in any place I lived. Between being very indecisive, lacking creativity and growing up in DONT DO ANYTHING TO THE WALLS HOUSE, I have just never really decorated.
To lose weight
I want to read more and cook more. I also want to finish the class I started almost two years ago…good thing it’s a go at your own pace certificate class!
To continue with my PTSD and grief counseling and hopefully that will allow for me to be able to get my medical doctors to take my neurological issues seriously.
I usually don’t set goals for the new year, but I did set a goal for 2023 and 2024. The goal I had for 2023 was to finally end my toxic marriage and file for divorce. I did accomplish that and my divorce was final in November. My goal for 2024 is to work on me. I plan on working on my mental and physical health. I know it won’t be easy, but I know it will be worth it.
My big goals for 2024 are to take care of some health issues I have and to cut back on my spending!
To get out of debt!
I want to catch up on work stuff. I own two businesses, so there is always more to do, than time in a day, but I am going to rearrange some things and hire some additional support people. Something a little more fun is I want to plan my 30 year high school class reunion….class of 1994…it feels like yesterday. I am going to have to get on this one in January or it won’t happen. I’ve always found that if you want something done, you should ask a super busy person. Especially one that has a hard time saying no🤦🏼♀️
My goal is to be healthy, do more exercise. Diet and exercise. Same old stuff.
Mt biggest goal for 2024 is to finnaly go through my dad’s stuff and purge. He’s been gone 3 years and it’s still hard to even touch things, but what good are they doing just sitting in boxes? I think I’m finally ready to tackle this.
Another great question. I have a lot of goals for 2024. First is to leave my corporate job – woo hoo! Then pick up my writing again, take the 300 hour yoga teacher training I’ve been thinking about for years, road trip across country with my dog to get to Vermont to drink cider as the leaves change and just to be present and grateful everyday.
My 2024 goal is to find 20 new family dinner recipes.
I’d like to get a new job.
Sell my (big) house and find my perfect (cozy) house. Business success/financial freedom. Meet my life partner and dive into epic love relationship.
Big goals for me for 2024 are to get in the habit of creating. I like to write and so I am making an effort to do so. I also need to spend more time developing my blog again which I think of more a positive guide to life from my point of view. I also want to say yes to as many things or new experiences I can. I turned 50 this year so I think this next year is about stepping more into me and that means saying yes to things that bring me joy. I also have a house project that needs to completed and would like to see that done. I would also like to put travel on that list of goals. I tend to be a home body so in the spirit of yes; I think travel rates up there.
I’m taking a long trip with my husband that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. We’ll celebrate 30 years next year.
I am determined to get my photos organized!
Continue my efforts to become more physically fit and co-host a wonderful wedding for my son and his fiancé in Colorado
Since my kidneys are failing, I shall concentrate on that.
Losing weight and eating healthier. I’ve been gaining so much weight that it’s making me depressing
Losing some weight and exercising.
1. First litter of Maine Coon kittens!
2. Transition to my new role at work
I am changing careers so finding a job I like would be great! I also want to try to go out more since I’m a major introvert
2024 goals are to hopefully slow down and enjoy things more. I just go, go, go and days bleed into days. Not bad but I need to learn to stop and smell the tulips more.
To get my home in better order and work on my time management more.
I want to continue to loose weight. I’m 14 pounds away from the onder land😜 I haven’t been this small since I was very young. I have always been extremely overweight.
I just finished college while working full time, so maybe find a better paid job in 2024. I adore my job but childcare is paid very little here in Ireland so I might need to look foe something else. As for the rest, just relax and enjoy the time off I have
Buy a house.
After reading your goals, I’m exhausted so my goal is to nap. Lol. My biggest goal is to go through every room in my house and get rid of or donate things we are not using anymore. We have a lot we could clean up around here.
My goal for 2024 is to really start to get organized a bit better :/ we moved and I have to say I have been a little lazy dealing with the upstairs out of sight out of mind! Also we are taking the plunge and surprising the kids with trip to Disney. I myself have never been so I am very excited to see them have the time of their lives and me too!
My goals are to pay off all the bills possible and save more for retirement.
I plan on going on an overseas holiday.
My goal is to get myself in shape and healthy
My goal for 2024 is to keep growing my business and keep it successful. I think the same as everyone I also have a weight goal I want to achieve, work on my mental health and get out of bad habbits. I also want to now start saving some money as I have a wedding to plan!
I have a lot of goals for 2024 – get promoted, pay down credit card, and work on losing weight!!
I’m retiring in 2024 after 43 years. So looking forward to spending more time with my grandbabies, reading more and getting through my to do list.
My big goals is to have my house remodeled. It needs quite a bit done. And we have just started the process. I’m very excited to see when it’s completed
My goals are to slow down and enjoy life.
I am getting ready to retire in 2024.
My big goals for 2024 include getting to a much better mental and physical shape!
My big goal is to not have bad luck. If that is even possible. 🤣
To take a family trip
Get outside more, declutter and cook some fabulous recipes
Get a better job with the degree I just earned.
My husband and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and we’re planning a 2 week road trip of the Deep South.
To remodel my house in preparation for retirement.
Enjoy myself more.
My goal is to declutter the house and get rid of things that I don’t need.
I don’t do resolutions because I never keep them so I like that you’re asking about my goals for 2024.
I am slowly lowering medication and trying to strengthen my body. I have had six spinal fusion surgeries and experience terrible pain and have lost a lot of my physical independence. I am trying to regain some of my life. Get healthier and stronger, but it’s a slow process.
I also want to continue a project I started doing this year which is knitting afghans for animals in the shelters. I read about a woman who does this and I thought, “hey, I need something to do and the animals need comfort and warmth so why not try to knit little afghans?” I’m averaging about one per week.
I plan to make a goal of reading 75 books next year and after reading your goals for 2024 it sounds like I’ll have great choices.
Other than that I want to spend as much time as I can with my parents. I’m 57 and I’m lucky enough to have both of my parents still alive and well. God willing they will continue to be with me and I plan on being with them as much as possible.
My goal is just to be healthy and happy. I’m back in school, and I need surgery on my foot. So I just want to relax and not plan. Let everything happen without pressure of planning.
2024 is going to be all about DIY remodeling. It’ll be a little at a time but it’ll get done!
I lost almost 40 lbs. this year and I want to continue on with losing more and make better choices in my life!!
To be a better person 🙂 Thanks!
my big goal for 2024 is to go back to school
big goals for 2024 are to progress in my education, and spend more time with my son.
I want to have more energy to do more crafts! I want to have more hobbies and have a creative outlet to manage stress!
My goals ..
I lost my mom in June
I’ve been dealing it was hard.
Bigger garden in the spring
And painting inside the home
Home improvements..
Quit smoking. Forty year habit is going to be tough, but something I really want and need to do.
My goal is to update my resume and look for a job that I am passionate about.
my big goal is to finally start selling my photography
Starting a new career, it’s scary to start over this late in life but I’m excited for something better.
2024 my goals are to work on getting my book published, start the second one to the series, and possibly other story projects. Continue what I’ve been doing regarding my path, being in the moment, being more creative, hacking into the Matrix 🤪, and living my dream life.
I think I kind of expressed this in another comment, but my main goal for 2024 is to focus on my mental health and get my life to a place where I am much happier than I am right now.
My goal for 2024 is to not sweat the little stuff so I can keep my stress and anxiety to a minimum!
To be able to sell at least one house during the year. I know it’s going to be hard. The market sucks right now but I’ll be proud for a beginner agent to sell one house
My goals for 2024 are to take more time for myself. I find myself so busy with other people that I forget to do something for myself. Like just sit and relax occasionally.
My health is my goal for 2024. I shattered my ankle a few years back and I haven’t been able to walk normally since and it’s painful to stand,or walk for too long. I’ve gained weight because I’m not moving as much as I should and I need another operation (this’ll be #4) to see if they can clear out some scar tissue and improve my range of motion. I’m hoping for the best!
My only goal is to take control of my eating disorder and become healthier…
Try to stay alive
try to stop getting stressed over silly things.
Thankyou so much for the chance.
My goal for 2024 is to be healthy, happy and read more books. 😁
To sell more of my resin art. Sell my house and find the best house for my family and myself closer to town. Keep me and my family as healthy as I can as well. Praying my hubby’s lung cancer shrinks so much it extends his life expectancy.
For my husband and I to take a vacation, by ourselves! We haven’t taken time for just ourselves in the last 5 years. We have always put our grown children and their children first…but we need a break from all of that and have time away to just relax.
Big Goals – It’s more like a laundry list.
– Finish painting the trim and doors in the house white (they are eggshell right now)
– change the ugly PVC white railing on our deck to wood and horizontal rebar.
– sand, paint, and distress several pieces of furniture that I want to lighten.
– Cross my Blue Wheaton roosters with my Welsummers for some olive egger chicks
– Take a few trips with my husband and friends.
– Plan out the sex room I’m going to create with my son’s bedroom as soon as he graduates college and moves out of the house. 🙂
– Clean out my storage room.
– Sleep More, spend more time at the beach, and read more books
My goal for 2024 is to be more sociable and leave my house more often. It’s just so peopley out there…..
In 2024 I want to waste less time! I’m a huge procrastinator, big fan of sleeping in, and I tend to get lazy after I eat supper. I want to take advantage of time that I waste by waking up earlier, using my evening hours wisely, and not putting things off until the last minute.
My goals are to continue to keep myself healthy. Maybe try some meditation. Get my sons graduated from college and out of the house!
My biggest goal for 2024 is to make a baby quilt for my newest great-nephew. His daddy is a fireman and I found the cutest focus fabric with fireman motifs all over it. It’s perfect! My next biggest goal is to feel well enough (I’m disabled) to get a part time job so that I can pay for the car I had to buy after wrecking my 20-year old car last month. Bad luck, but nobody got hurt so that’s fortunate. My third big goal is to train my dog better! That could take the full year…
My big goal for next year is to continue to grow in my teaching career. This year I stepped out of one teaching role and into a different teaching role/administrative role. I am more administrative at this point and I absolutely love it. I think it suits my skills more. My bosses wanted me in that role and I have thrived. So I plan to press into that especially since we will be moving our ALE into a bigger school, doubling our students , and expanding our program to better serve our population of students.
I have a lot of goals in 2024. Getting my mental health and physical health under control. Getting out mobile home stuff done.
Find a Lyme Disease doctor who can treat my Chronic Lyme Disease and the co-infections that go with it. This will mean spending more time out of state since there are no specialists here in NM. If anyone knows of someone please let me know.
I feel a bit at a standstill, maybe even a crossroad. So much has happened with my family over the last few years. I’m looking forward to the new year and new opportunities for work, for time with my family, and just all around finding the good. It’s a mission 😂❤️
My goal is to stay healthy so I can enjoy my grandchildren
My goal is to still stay on my workout regime and keep eating better and lose my next 15 or 20 pounds i have until my goal i set!
My goal for 2024 is to get a new job and to save enough money to visit my granddaughter in Carolina.
My biggest goal is to be healthy and get back into exercising. It has been a bad couple of years, actually since 2018 when I broke 11 bones and had 10 surgeries. Believe me that is just the beginning. I also want to see my family who i haven’t seen since 2017. Get back into reading instead of a few books here and there.
Finish one of my writing projects and get my health routine back in check.
Getting my health under control and then hopefully working on losing some of the weight I put on since I’ve been under physical restrictions.
Starting over! New life, new job or promotion, new house! I’m ready for it all!
Believe in myself, and finish projects.
To stay healthy
I have several goals for 2024! Finish a romance novel I started writing years ago and start writing other ideas I’ve had. Find a work-from-home part time job. Keep losing weight.
Thanks for the chance!
My goals for 2024 are, to finish the blanket I am crocheting. I recently learned how to crochet, so I’m trying different projects. I want to go see my daughter and grandkids this summer.
Get healthier…both mentally and physically
My goal for the new year is to enjoy life more.
After waiting for 12 years we are finally going to break ground building our lake house. We purchased the property 12 years ago with the hopes of building within 2 years. Blueprints are being delivered to our builder this week. This year has been extremely difficult I lost my sister 3 days before Christmas last year and then in October my sweet Yorkie passed away. I have picked the spot for her ashes on our lake property. She will be with us always! I’m excited for this project it’s a dream come true! Hard work 😓 pays off.
getting out of the house more than 2023
In 2024 I want to work more on my house. Remove popcorn ceilings, paint rooms, get new appliances, etc.
My goals are to start cleaning out my house of 30 years and start downsizing. I also want to remember to take time for myself as well.
Mine are to finds new apartment and to eat better.
Get healthier and exercise more!
I would like to be able to stop procrastinating so much! I need to get my sewing and craft room straightened out so it’s not a storage room that it has become. I have backpain off and on, but on more than off, so that’s part of the reason I procrastinate. I’m going to make a to do list of things I really need to do and do everything on it, not put it off. I’m going to get out of the house more, and visit my children more. I’m retired so it’s easier for me to do the traveling. One is close by about 10 minutes away, the other much further about 1 1/2 hours, but doable. I want to physically be there for them while I still can. I love them so much and they are my joy. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
In 2024, I have to find a new bigger home. I need a 3 bedroom, 2+ bath. I WANT a 4 bedroom so that each of my boys can have their own rooms and my mom would have a room if she ever decided to leave her husband. My mom has always supported my brother and I in whatever weve wanted to do in life, so its important to me for her to know that if my stepfather ever gets physically abusive instead of just the mental side of it that he is now, that she has a safe place to go, and she wont be crashing on a couch and feel like she is imposing. I need a room that could be a library room, but my biggest priority is making sure my mom knows that when she decides enough I’d enough, that she has somewhere else to go. It’s time for me to me her biggest supporter and cheerleader.
Besides losing weight (😬🫣), I wanna get healthier, focus on my mental health more, and just try being happier 🫶
To work on my health and keep going to grief support to help me.
I would love to do more with my son, go on more trips, vacations, roadtrips, museums, zoos, etc. I would also love to camp & hike more.
My husband and I have long distance motorcycle riding goals we hope to accomplish next year.
My goals for 2024 includes applying for Social Security & planning a trip to the Azore Islands with family & friends.
I need to get myself back on track. I procrastinate way too much and have a lack of get up and go. I truly want to work on getting back to being active and not just talking about handling tasks that need to be done and done in a timely manner.
I have a few goals for 2024. First of all, I will be starting a new medication to help reduce my chance of my cancer reoccurring. It can have a lot of side effects but my goal is to live with this medication and not let it affect my quality of life. I’ll also be putting a surgery behind me and I’m excited for that. I have 3 book events I’ll be traveling to and my goal is to make it to all 3 and have a fantastic time. Lastly I’m going to try to find a little latent artistic talent I might have so I can do rock painting.
Going for new job opportunities
I feel like this last year has been a complete blur, so my biggest goal for 2024 is to find balance in my activities and responsibilities to be more present and enjoy what I’m doing. Rather than running from activity to activity and worrying about what’s not happening because I’m too busy.
Find a new job!
Get my life a little back im order 🤪
Spend less and save more.
My goal is survival for 2024. My husband has had 2 serious falls in the last 2 years both requiring surgery and rehab. The last fall was the end of November and he is currently in rehab after breaking his hip. We’ve been married 50 years and I want us to make it to 51.
This coming year marks a pretty big year for me. Yes that big number … 50… my daughter will graduate from her second degree, my sister n is with eking 6 days a week and I’m still doing shift work as a first responder. My biggest goal is to take my birthday off and go somewhere hot with my two kids and their partners and my husband for being on the earth half a century. We’re hoping we can make it happen before they’re both so busy they can’t take a week off! Thank you so much for the chance!
I have three Big Goals
1. Find a more fulfilling job which also pays me better😉
2. Actively start eating healthy and exercising more to stay fit and lose weight. (For health reasons)🥒🫒🍳
3. Being more social and going out more often with friends and family.
(To be honest post lockdown hasn’t been easy. I had gained a ton of weight which hampered my self confidence and I used to be an outgoing person but recently I choose to make execuses and stay at home watching TV and reading rather than having any social life whatsoever.
Mind you bineging Netflix and reading is not bad at all, but I aim to strike some balance in my life 😊)
To complete my itinerary for my dream trip to Ireland in May of 2025 for my 50th birthday!
I have so many!! #1 is to take care of me first. My entire life (I’m 42) has been about caretaking for others and people pleasing. I’m working on getting healthy, losing weight, mediation, self-love and kindness and building new habits.
My dad’s continued treatment for pancreatic cancer is my top priority, so my goal is to continue to be as involved and supportive to both of my parents as possible and help them get through the remainder of the treatment and the HUGE surgery to come. My sister is also getting married, just before her 50th birthday. I want to help her plan a great wedding and make sure it’s low stress for my parents. For myself, I want to continue my weight loss journey and prioritizing my health.
Make more money to pay off house/debt and also get healthy. Money stresses me out and I eat when I’m stressed. It’s a vicious cycle.
Certification and one of my projects, haven’t decided which one yet
My goal for 2024 is the get more exercise. I need to start moving more.
My health is my priority so that’s physical mental and spiritual health…. I’ve got a number of goals for each category… I find that my overall happiness skyrockets when I make my health a priority.
Try and get healthier so I can do more physically.
I would say, my goal is to get a permanent teacher contract with my school board. I just took on a temporary one, and can’t wait to continue to succeed in teaching!
I’m planning a move in 2024…. I tried to scale down and nope… it’s not for me. I also have big plans to lose the 40 lbs I gained in 2023….
I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes. My big goal is to keep on improving my diet and to lose weight. I would like to lower my A1C and just be healthier overall.☘️
To get my life organized!
I have had the best year! I hope I continue on this “healthy ” trajectory. Health and happiness are always my main goals. I almost kicked it in 2022 so I appreciate my life so much more. I’m going to voluntarily the local animal shelter. I’m helping out with my elderly parents who are still independent (91 & 86). They have been looking after me as my body screwed me over (23 surgeries) so it’s my turn and I’m loving it. So goals for 2024… keep doing what I’m doing and appreciate absolutely everything in life !

I’m going to do some things for myself. For years I was in mommy mode, caregiver mode, be there for everyone mode. Now that’s two of these are no longer needed, you ready never stop being mom just less demanding. I’m taking some classes and focusing on my personal needs.
My big goal is to be healthier in many aspects of my life.
My big goal for 2024 is to reduce my debt so I can decide where I want to move after my son graduates high school.
Pay off loan and save money for more shares of the farm

I want to me around for many more holidays with my daughters. I also need to budget my money better but one thing at a time. 🙂 Thanks so much for the chance. Happy Holidays.
My goal for 2024 is to live an overall healthy lifestyle! No preset deadlines, just to live life to the fullest and do more for me. I haven’t focused on myself in a long time and it’s the right time to focus on me! My children are adults now, my youngest just turned 21 and hubby just transitioned into a great new job! For 2024 I need to get my health under control. I also desperately need a vacation. I’ve not had one in many years. I’ve just been working too much.
I would like to better my health. I know many people say that and not as a resolution but a couple years ago, I did take that step. I have lost some weight but I had surgery and while I’m back at the gym, I need to take those extra steps and add some weights plus watch what I eat more than when it goes in my mouth.
I am actually working on opening up a digital shop. My side hobby is digital scrapbooking and I’m planning on making kits for other people to use. Eventually, I want to upgrade to making book covers/teasers, etc. But for now, I’ll stick to what I know

Travel, exercise, clean out certain rooms in my house I’ve been avoiding 🙃
My biggest goal is to get my life back. Due to life changing ill health my whole life as I knew it changed, I plan to return to the land of the living with a bang!
I don’t really have any goals yet just to take things one day at a time! Merry Christmas to you 🙂

My goal for 2024 will be a difficult one for me. I’m going to put myself first. I have never put myself first in all my almost 66 years. I’m going to take care of me, mentally & physically.
My big goals for 2024 are working on my family’s nutrition (various food allergies & tastes make it a challenge!) & finding the right assisted living facility for my Mama. Her 2020 stroke has taken a toll & her memory has only gotten worse but it’s going to take time to find the right place that we can afford.
I have some trips planned, and I’m making a quilt for my daughter-in-law
To get fitter and be healthier
I would like to get fitter and healthier
My goals are to keep growing and developing my skills and better manage stress and anxiety. To focus on what important and not dwell on things I can’t change
To find my passion in life again
To not spend the last half of the year in a dr office after discovering a kidney stone A massive on in the xray I had done for my back. It was 19mm and I had to have surgery on it twice. It has been the awfullest thing ever. I hope no one ever has to have a stent They are the devil. I want to travel this coming year and now that my daughter is married and has moved into her house I guess the time has come to rediscover married life without my daughter around.
Thanks so much for the chance.
Hi Julie, this will sound trite but definitely getting more healthy and losing weight. Blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol are getting too high lol. Also breast cancer runs in my family so it’s important that I take care of my body for my son. I wanna be there for him as long as I can.
My big goals for 2024 are to lose weight, get organized and clear out some clutter. I also hope to start a new job. I hope I can achieve at least one of these things.
I’d like to take better care of my health. So I will start slow by eating healthier.
Live healthier, decluttering my house, and taking time for me.
To work on my health and lose weight and live longer
My big goals for 2024 are to revamp my Scentsy business and do more to make it more profitable. I also want to get my dining room painted and take on the big task of completely renovating our kitchen!
Most of all I want to make more date nite with my hubby so we can keep our flame rekindled after 35 years of marriage.
To take good care of my health
My goal is to fix up my house and declutter it!
Make everyday and memory count with my dad ( and mom ). Dad is end stage heart failure so we set goals to keep
Him going. This new year we will get to spend his birthday in Vegas and hopefully he gets to spend his 50th anniversary with mom.
My goals are too stop putting it off and put more of an effort into getting myself healthy.
I am grateful that I did not die and the love of my family saved me
To become financially sound
2024 was pretty rough. Hoping 2025 is a bit easier to cope with!
