Welcome to my annual 12 DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS!
If you’re new to this – here’s how it works:
1. Each day from December 1 through December 12 I will put up a new giveaway HERE on my website with instructions on how to enter, a detailed description of the prize, and some stuff about the book or series. Each giveaway is different and each has ONE WINNER. MY GIVEAWAYS ARE ALWAYS OPEN INTERNATIONAL
2. Each giveaway runs UNTIL DECEMBER 13.
3. Winners are CHOSEN and NOTIFIED on December 14. I will be notifying winners USING THE EMAIL USED TO COMMENT ON THIS BLOG – and all winners will BE LISTED AT THE TOP OF EACH GIVEAWAY POST HERE ON MY WEBSITE on December 14.
4. Winners have 24 hours to respond, then another winner will be chosen.
5. ALL PRIZES WILL BE MAILED ON DECEMBER 15. If I’m waiting on a winner to respond and they miss the December 15 mail date, that prize will be mailed when I get around to it. I live in the middle of nowhere so a trip to the post office is a “thing” for me. 🙂 So make sure you’re checking for winners on the 14th.
6. I will send newsletters announcing giveaways on December 1, December 6, December 12, and a Winner newsletter on December 14. I NEVER send this many newsletters in a month so sorry if that feels spammy.
7. You can also FOLLOW MY BLOG. I will also make a blog post HERE announcing ALL WINNERS on the 14th. If you want to follow this blog there will be a form at the bottom of each post to do that. Then you get an email when I POST HERE. I don’t do that often – December is the exception because of the 12 Days and my yearly “Wrap-up” post.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
THAT’S IT! I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THIS!
The world is INSANE right now so I’m just trying to spread some cheer and give back to all of you who support me and enjoy the stories I create.

THE FIRST THREE BOOKS ARE PART OF THIS MASSIVE SPECIAL EDITION HARDCOVER IN TODAY’S GIVEAWAY
TRAGIC
Down-on-her-luck Rook meets top-model Ronin and gets offered the opportunity of a lifetime—a modeling gig with a famous photographer for a campaign called Tragic. It comes with a paycheck, a roof-top apartment, and a bad-boy called Ronin who has a sketchy history of breaking pretty girls. Despite his reputation, Rook finds herself falling for his charm. But can she trust him? Not just with her safety, but with her heart?
MANIC
The money is flowing but stripping naked and letting your boyfriend’s best friend paint your body in order to sell custom motorcycles isn’t the ideal way to start a brand-new relationship. Add in a TV reality show, another best friend who seems determined to make Rook notice him, and that in order to get paid she will have to strut her stuff in public wearing nothing but body paint and yeah—there’s not a chance in hell the love of her life is going to be OK with this.
PANIC
Rook and Ronin are both chasing the same dream. Love, a family of their own, and a future that has nothing to do with modeling. But both of them have been running from a secret past and all those mistakes are about to catch up. Lies, secrets, and shocking truths will rock the foundation Rook and Ronin have built. Can they put the past behind them and move forward together? Or is this just another too good to be true relationship that will crash and burn in the end?

HOW DID YOU FIRST FIND MY BOOKS?
MY ANSWER
Of course, I wrote my books! So this is a silly question for me. But I’ll tell ya how I started writing. Lots of you probably already know this but I actually went to school to be a scientist. Actually, before that I was going to be a veterinarian—which explains my undergraduate degree in Equine Science. But I quite my PhD program because I hated the people and it was so political, I just knew I was gonna be miserable if I stayed.
So I had all this education and it felt like a waste. But I had been homeschooling my kids for several years by this time—and by homeschool I don’t mean the fake homeschool the public school is selling these days that’s nothing but shitty online classes. I’m talking full-on hand-selected curriculum each year for my kids and sitting down with them each morning to work and learn.
So instead of wasting my science degrees I decided to write homeschool science curriculum. I had a master’s degree, I felt pretty qualified, and it was pretty successful for a small company. I was making like $4K a month part time with this stuff. Which was almost twice as much as I was making working part-time for the State of Colorado as a hog farm inspector.
I did that for several years (2008-2013). And I stopped because in 2012 I started writing fiction. My first, as most of you know, was the Junco series. It’s still a cult favorite with my fan base (even though it is sci-fi and not romance).
But in 2013 I wrote my first romance, TRAGIC – BOOK 1 OF THIS ROOK & RONIN SERIES, and the rest is history. I’m like 95 books in now.
Tragic and the whole Rook & Ronin series still sells and all the audiobooks are FREE (link above) if you’re new and haven’t read the series yet.
The ebooks are in KU, so you can read them free using the link above for ‘KINDLE’ above.

On Facebook. Thank you for the chance. Merry Christmas 🎄
I found Sick Heart at my local used book store. Devoured it and was instantly obsessed with your work! 🥰
My first book I listened to was pleasure of panic… I just happen to come across it on Audible… Once I heard Ford and Five. I was hooked.. I had to read the whole series from the beginning.
I was introduced to Rook&Ronin on a book fb group. It was my first introduction to romance suspense!
I woke up every day at 5 a.m. TO RUN (I hate running!) just so I’ll get the chance to listen to your books. 5 a.m. wake up with these amazing characters, was the perfect beginning to my 14-hour work days.
THANK YOU for writing them and for the chance to participate.
On Facebook. Thank you for the chance. Merry Christmas Everyone
I was on You Tube and saw 321 it was actually the 1st audiobook I listened to. Then I was hooked. So ofcourse us adults ask our kids where to go buy book that B&N don’t sell. As they say the rest was history.
I was browsing for something to read by a new author to me, and came across Three, Two, One… Was absolutely hooked. Went back and got every book I could find by you. It has been a love relationship ever since!
On Facebook. I think in a group you did a few posts. It was forever ago. But I remember being so excited for a new author and a whole new level of romance that I had never seen before. Thanks for the chance ❤️ Merry Christmas!
I honestly don’t remember how I learned of 321 my first book but then I had to have more. I now own every ebook and audiobook you have ever published and will continue to as long as you write them.
Bookstagram!
Found your page on FB or IG..can’t remember. Lol. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway opportunity.
I can’t remember how I first discovered you, but it was Rook & Ronin. I love this series.
Found your books on Facebook.
I think it was on Facebook at a new release book party. When I was first introduced to you and your books.
While Browsing through indie books on kindle I came across Tragic and I loved the cover so I bought it and have been a fan ever since. You are my favorite author! Thank you!!!
I was looking for something different and your Social Media series caught my eye. I’ve been hooked since.
I found them on facebook from a shared post! thank you for the chance!!
The giveaway is the first book of yours I read a friend introduced me since then I’ve been hooked and a big fan!
I found the mister series on audible. I went through the misters fast and I was hooked!! Not only is your writing so good, you always have the best narrators!!
I found your books through a giveaway.
It was advertised on Facebook then I couldn’t get enough of your books. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My sister found you first and told me I needed to read your books.
I first discovered your books via either Goodreads or Bookbub, can’t remember which one.
It was a chance meeting looking for something to read on my new Kindle. I will never forget I started with the Mister series. I was hooked and made it my duty to read everything Julie has written.
I ran across In To Her abed feel in love with your writing. I have since accumulated the audio books and ebooks of your complete library so I have read or listen to them over and over again.
A fb book party several years ago.
Just scrolling through audible and boom, 321! The cover caught my eye. The title intrigued me. Read the summary and was SOLD. From there it was a deep dive into the world of Julie.
Oh wow, I first found your books over 8 years ago. From what I can remember it would have been from a FB blog page. Then – book signing in thr UK. Since then I never looked back.
Although I really loved the whole series, I’m afraid my heart fell for Ford and Ashleigh instead of Rook and Ronin 😍 xx
I can’t quite remember but, I think it was from browsing Amazon. I found 321 and the Turning series. I was also tickled when I found out you’re a fellow Equine science major and a gardener. I love your books and always look forward to new releases!
I drive 50 miles to work in LA traffic and I was listening to podcast when a co-worker encouraged me to listen to books on tape. I found the Harem series and loved them. I became a huge fan of yours and have listened to almost all of your books 😍
Tragic was actually the first book I read by you. It was a recommendation on a Facebook group. It’s still my favorite series of yours and the audios are exemplary!! ♥️
I believe it was a ebook sale on this very series and I needed more!
I’m pretty sure I came across your books through a Facebook page. I began reading romance when a friend of mine of course said “you need to read Fifty Shades of Grey”. I read those and was like well what else have I missed out on reading. So I took to Facebook and found one romance reading group, then another, and somewhere J. A. Hiss popped into one of them.
I’m not sure, but so glad I did. I love menage and you write it beautifully with lots of angst.
I would say it was probably on Facebook a number of years ago.
I saw a Facebook post about Rook n Ronini.. read it and fell in love with all your books.
I was searching around for different types of books to read and I happen to come across 3, 2, 1. I loved it. Since I liked that book then I decided to try other Huss books and I haven’t stopped. My absolute favorites are 3, 2, 1 and Vic Vaughn, that dude is a hoot!😁
On Fb. I first discovered 18 and loved that story so much, it made me look for your other books
I found your books when I sign up for Audible and I was hooked, the first book that I ever listened was In to Her by you and I loved so much one of my favorite books ever
Thanks
Martha L
A friend recommended and I’ve been so grateful, I’ve become a huge fan, I’ve enjoyed reading your books!
Facebook, some time ago.
I was recovering from a kidney transplant and was reading again and found the R&R omnibus on kindle and I dove in and never looked back! I was forever a fan!
I pick up Rook & Ronnie but I’m not sure if it was free!
It’s been awhile, but I believe one of your books was in a recommended list on Amazon and it sounded intriguing. After reading I purchased everything that was already published and then you are one of my few one click pre orders, I don’t even read the blurb anymore, I know it will be fantastic.
Short story I found your books on audible.
Long story: I was broke the Christmas of 2021 and was looking for a book to listen to that was included in my audible plus. I found bossy Jesse. Fell in love with the series and then realized that it was in the middle of the Rook and Ronin series. So, I then started from the beginning and really enjoyed listened to the entire series. Then I went down a rabbit hole from there and listened to every single one of your books.
Audio book, I’m a dog walker and decided there’s only so much of the same music you can listen to everyday so decided to give audio book a go and in all honesty I never even read before, I did read little blurbs that you get on Facebook so had some sort of an idea of what I would find interesting. Yours was one of the first I came across and now I’m addicted to buying books and audio books. You opened up a whole new world for me
On amazon. I was browsing books to read when I came across the Mister.
I know you’ve heard me answer this many times. It was in the Bend Anthology when I read “Come” and fell in love with James Fenici, Harper Tate and Sasha Cherlin. Man, that short story was the beginning and I immediately looked up your other books and dove into Rook and Ronin’s story. The rest is history, you’ve been stuck with me ever since! Sorry about that…
Audible
Intruduced by friend
I found on Facebook and was hooked, Rook and Ronin, Ford, Spencer, all of them, thank you for the opportunity, Merry Christmas to you and your family
I stumbled onto Junco on Audible, and even though I typically prefer romance, Junco really intrigued me. I love it, and went looking for more, and was happy to find your other works were romance (with lots of variety)! I’ve enjoyed all of your books and love your style!
I happened upon Three Two One. I was completely sucked in! Within a year I had read every book Julie had released with the exception of the Harem Station books. I have read and reread every book over and over. Julie is my go to author and fave of all time! Can’t wait for more to come!
I found your books through the suggestion from another Author and then was so excited and happy to meet you in person at BB23. 🤩
I’m not exactly sure how I found your books. I think it was through Facebook somehow.
I had gotten a Nook for Christmas and I was looking for books and Tragic was suggested to me and the rest as they say is history lol
Not 100% sure. I know it was Rook and Ronin on audible, but I can’t remember if I found it on audible or if I seen it on Facebook then searched for it on audible. Either way, I feel in love with that series.
Got a free book off Bookfunnel and I was hooked.
Audible
First found your books from a friend’s recommendation.
It’s been a while since maybe 2014, so I don’t really remember but I think it was recommended by Amazon based on my previous reads. It happened to be for Tragic with the original glittery lips cover. I’ve been hooked ever since.
Early 2021, I was transitioning into a new genre of books. Had my fill of incredibly large historical fiction. I went to one of my reading apps and hit discover! Voila!
“Mr Perfect “changed my reading life. I went on a reading binge and read everything J A Huss I could put my hands on. This continued in 2022 and to this day with may repeats in audible, kindle etc, whatever I can get my hands on – you can always re-read her stuff Really Awesome❣️
Amazon/FB recommend a book of yours, In To Her. I enjoyed it and started looking into your other books. I was totally hooked with the Mister series.
Facebook recommendations in several readers groups 😀
it was a feature artist on an email that i received
I had just finished the Hatcher series by Meredith Wild and wanted something new to read and Rook and Ronin popped up on GDR as an option so I read it. Have been hooked ever since.
I found you more by luck than anything else. I was looking through Kindle to find something to read and so glad I found Rook and Ronin, what a blessing to start at the very beginning and didn’t stop when I got to the end. Just found more and more of your books ❤️
I first found your books as another authors suggested read. It’s been a while so I don’t remember which author.
I was looking for audiobooks books narrated by Jason Clarke and found the Rook & Ronin trilogy. Lucky for me it landed right at the beginning of the most incredible collection and beyond. ❤️
I think it was audible back in 2021 I started with Harlem Station series KC Cross then I moved on to JA Huss books I haven’t made it through them all yet but I’m working on it! I some time get distracted “squirrel!!!”
I first stumbled onto a book by you, on audiobooks. I was trying to read something different l, and it exceeded my expectations.
I don’t recall how I stumbled down the Huss train, but I remember 3,2,1 was my first book. I fell in love with your writing style and was searching for all of the books on your back list. You are really talented.
In a Facebook group
I don’t remember actually – I’ve been a fan for several years now! It probably was a freebie from an author newsletter or BookFunnel promotion that got me hooked 😊
I believe I first came across you through Facebook or Amazon I can’t quite remember 😊
I found your books from a friend!
On Facebook thanks for the chance
A friend asked if I had read you….I read one book and was hooked.
I read the free Spencer prequel and was hooked! Read all the Rook and Ronin and Ford books while patiently waiting for Spencer’s book.
Not 100% sure. I know it was Rook and Ronin on audible, but I can’t remember if I found it on audible or if I seen it on Facebook then searched for it on audible. Either way, I feel in love with that series!
I’m pretty sure it was Creeping Beautiful that I first read that opened a new world of unique and dark reading from you. I was pretty hooked by your side from that moment forward.
My first and true love read of yours is Taking Turns, which was a free giveaway in iBooks – I’ll never forget reading it for the first time and the impact it had on me – I still love and recommend it every chance I get – and love the spicy parts you put in your books. I still have a lot. Ore of your books to read, but am forever grateful for the recommendation and free giveaway which led me to your world of literature 😘♥️
I came across a social media post for The Dirty Ones, a sexy teaser, and I was hooked!
I first found your books because I read mostly audiobooks. I love Christian Fox and Emma Wilder so when I saw they had narrated a series (Naughty Things) I had to give it a go. I’ve loved YOU as well ever since!
Found you through Amazon.
I saw a rec on Sierra Simone’s website for 321. That was a deep rabbit hole. I think I did nothing but read your books for four months. I caught up right around the time Creeping Beautiful was released so I have been able to read as released after that.
Honestly, I’m still relatively new here to you and your books….I found you through one of the things I subscribe to that let me know discounted and free prices of books daily. Your “Bossy Brothers: Jesse” was on there, so I snatched it up, devoured it and now I’m hooked….
I really don’t honestly remember, but I’m assuming it was through a recommendation from a group on Facebook. The first thing I read was Taking Turns and it’s still my favorite series to this day!!! I have been hooked ever since!!! 😍
I saw a rec on a Facebook group a while ago for 321 and ever since I have been hooked.
I downloaded a free book Pretty sure it was bossy brothers,Jesse. It was on Amazon.
I first found your books on Amazon I believe. Have been hooked. The Rook trilogy was the first ones I read
I found you through this series! I loved the cover of Tragic, it totally caught my eye and I devoured the trilogy.
I think it was fb!
I found your books via Facebook. There was a post for an ARC of Mr Romantic, I applied and was successful. Yay! I then realised it was the second book in the series so I read Mr Perfect (The Misters #1) and became hooked on JA Huss. Of course I then had to go digging for more books by this incredible author, found out that Rook and Ronin was the place to start and… the rest is history.
I have been reading your books so long it seems like it’s always been that way. I first read Tragic and was hooked.
Pretty sure it came up when I was searching on kindle years ago and I found rook and Ronin. I’m thinking it was before Facebook lol
I think I found your books through Amazon, but then I fell in love with reading them and I have a bad habit of once I find an author I like, no matter what genre it is, I read everything that they have written before moving on to another author and that’s what happened with you. Thank You for the amazing books
I found you I think on the libraries RB digital app. It was only about 6 months and only a few of your books available so at the end of the month the libraries lost the right to offer over 40k or so books and yours were gone. Even the new apps they offered didn’t have any of your or several other authors I liked (Christine Feehan) so I then got a 30 day free try of Audible and I’ve been hooked on you since Julie. I believe I have every one of yours now.
I have to tell you this too, if you didn’t have yours on audio I would never have found you. I do not and will not just sit down and read. But however once I listened to them with the different voices and I could listen as I worked I was hooked for life. Thanks so much for your great storyline and the awesome characters and narrators you find that really makes your books so wonderful. You are the greatest author by far!! 💜💚💜
I really don’t remember because it was so long ago but I probably Google “if you liked 50 shades” try this.
I used to go to m local library at least once a week. This was when I lived in NY.One of the librarians suggested Tragic. I have loved your books ever since then.
I honestly don’t remember how I found its been so long – I did used to be on your review team years and years ago.
A friend recommended your books to me. I looked you up on Facebook and was instantly hooked. Merry Christmas!
I started with the Junco series which I loved
An ad for your books consistently popped into my Facebook feed. I figured if it kept coming up, I’d better check ot out! And here we are…
I remember, I bought 321 when it first came out, I saw a FB ad and I had to have it. Then I realized there was more to”The Company” ( even though you say it’s a standalone, I knew there was more) so I went back and got every book I could and devoured them all. Now I just preorder everything. Yep I’m a fan! 😁
I first found you on audible while looking for a new audiobook. 😊
I first found out about your books through a book friend years ago. She reccomended the Taking Turns series and I have been ever since.
Oh this is an easy one. We met you in San Francisco. We talked a bit and you convinced me that MMF is very hot and I should give it a shot. So I did. Thank you, it’s changed my view on many genres. 💕🥰🤗
My first JA Huss book was 321. A friend, actual see you every week friend, recommended it to me and it blew my mine. Next I read Tragic etc. And that was it I can’t miss any of your books. I love them all contemporary, sci-fi, PNR or what ever Blood Lovers is. I love them ALL!
I believe it was Facebook and this series was my first and loved it
I’m honestly do not recall where I found you, probably a recommendation on FB or Amazon. All I know is that on 10th January 2014, I downloaded Tragic on Amazon and have never stopped reading your books. Getting ready to celebrate my 10 Year Hussiversary. 😘😘
Amazon recommended it based on my reading preferences and I’m so glad it did. I’ve binged all your books and are always excited when you release a new one. You’re one of 2 authors that I just can’t get enough of and have to read everything you’ve written.
I’m pretty sure Amazon recommend 18 and after that I just started going down the list trying to catch up with all your books. I’ve still not gotten caught up yet but I’m working on them. Thanks Julie!
I found your books when I started to use the Kindle app for reading. It took me a long time to give up a physical book. I believe that Kindle must have suggested your books based on my reading habits. I believe it was in 2015. Rook and Ronin started me reading everything. This is my favorite giveaway because of this series. Thanks for writing this crazy company world. You rock, Julie.
It was fate. I did a search for books on Apple and yours came up. Fell in love with your stories immediately.
I was taking a solo 8 hour car ride to see my bestie and wanted to give audiobooks one final shot. I tried many in the past and just couldn’t stand the narrators. I came across The Turning Series which of course has phenomenal narration and have read almost everything else since. 🙂
I don’t even remember how I first found you, but I devoured Tragic, Manic, and Panic in 3 days in early 2014 (I had to look back at my Goodreads history to figure this out, lol). Anyway, however I found you, I am so grateful as I have been hooked ever since!
I think it was recommended by Amazon.
I bought Tragic in December 2014 and was hooked. I don’t really remember how I found the book. I guess it was a suggestion on amazon.
I fist discovered your books through a fellow book lover and book blogger. She raved about your writing.
I first found your books at the local library. Our librarian had made a “if you loved 50 Shades of Grey, then you’ll love …” display and had about two dozen books under it. I actually didn’t love 50 Shades, but I really loved the idea of it, so I tried out a few. Paid off! Love the whole genre …
I found a review on a book blog, I believe, some time ago.
I first found your books through an Amazon recommendation.
I’m pretty sure I found your books through Kitty Thomas. Thanks for the opportunity
I entered a blog contest and won a paperback copy of Tragic.
Been hooked ever since.
Can’t recall the FB group I saw your books featured in and downloaded 321.
I discovered you on Audible. I was looking for something by SebYo and found 321. Absolutely loved it! Then binged all of your audios and still re-listen to them regularly 🥰
I came across Rook & Ronin while on was on a search for new authors. I was on a book reading binge for several months. There were quite a few that just didn’t have enough depth or limited character development that i was getting bored. Then one day Rook & Ronin popped up as a recommended read on Kindle and I became so invested in The Company that I had to read the entire series. The rest is history. I’ve read every book you’ve written. And like most of the Julie Huss fans, I anxiously wait for new releases. It took a bit for me to get to Junco but it’s truly a close second to Rook & Ronin as my favorite (and for entirely different reasons).
A giveaway is how I found you.
It was the cover of Sick Heart. Then I read it and it sprang to the top of my best read of the year list and stayed there.
Strolling on Amazon I’m sure.
I have been here so long I honestly don’t remember. It could have been through a group giveaway or something along those lines. It was definitely not through social media because I don’t do social media, so either a giveaway or found you while scrolling Amazon or Goodreads.
It was an Amazon recommendation for Three Two One, loved it, and have been hooked ever sense.
If I remember correctly, I met you in a writing forum before you or right after you published Junco. So I’ve known you a long ass time and have been in awe of how you do everything basically on your own, and you’re quick about it, and really good at what you do. Not to mention, smart. lol. And I’m not blowing smoke up your ass. I mean it. It’s cool watching you thrive throughout the years in this business and knowing that our paths are different, but also the same. 😊
YES! We have known each other for SO long. That’s crazy. We traded books, remember? I still remember your story! It’s funny because I haven’t read romance in so long but early on, back then, I was reading a lot and I remember most of them. It was a such a great time for me.
Oh wow! I remember reading Rook and Ronin years and years ago! Probably when I first got an ereader! And I think I found u by just searching!! ❤️
I’m an Audible listener. Lots of driving. First book was Anarchy Lincoln. I immediately bought the rest of the series. I was blown away. Then I bought Harem Station (another Awesome series). So I googled this KC Cross author. Lo and behold it’s a pen name for JA Huss. Next I listened to The Company. I was so taken by the story I joined the website and FB group. That’s when I realized I missed the beginning of the story, I devoured Rook and Ronin. So needless to say I own all the adult books Julie has written. I’m so happy to see there are lots of people that share the same tastes in stories and i’m not alone. Thank you
My very first JA Huss book was a “free” selection from Audible. It was either the Bossy Brothers or Sons of Anarchy. Once I devoured all the free books, I have systematically purchasing the rest of the books, borrowing them electronically from my library, downloading the free ones from Julie’s website, and scanning my local used bookstores for her hidden jems. I’m ot exactly sure how many of her books I have read, but I know there is still enjoyment out there to read the ones I have not.
I read Mr Perfect in a billionaire anthology. Then I searched for JA Huss, and found some audiobooks in Audible Unlimited, and started with In To Her, fell even more in love with your writing. It was full speed ahead from there and now about 2+ years later I’ve read pretty much everything you’ve written. Some many times over.
Love ya
PS – I’m laughing because I have my son in the fake public online homeschool. I work full-time and he has had a lot of bullying in school; so we pulled him. Anyway, I’d love to use other curriculum; but I just don’t have the time. The fights we’d get into would be a big issue as well.
Hey, I’m not knocking anyone’s choice of schooling. Homeschooling the way I did was no joke and I was working from home or in school, so I could do it. I’m SUPER happy that your kid is getting what he needs to thrive! 🙂 That’s the only thing that matters! <3
I came across you on audible, I listened to the Junco series and loved it. Then I started reading Rook and Robin and got obsessed with your books.
I found Tragic on either Facebook or one of the sites ie bookbub or the like. After that I HAD to finish the series and go on with your other books 😃.
I believe I got one book free and then I devoured the rest but I don’t think I’ve done the audio yet
I found your books through listening to this very series Rook & Ronin on audible. I was so blown away by the depth and complexity of the characters that I got hooked! I went on to the Bossy Brothers and I just couldn’t stop! To date I’ve read/listened to 90% of your books and I can’t get enough. Your books are truly amazing and addictive!
Way back in 2014 or there about s an advert popped up on my Facebook or kindle for the rook and ronin series I bought it and been a fan ever since x
Audible
I first found your books at a used bookstore.
At a local bookstore – a friend recommended it!
On Facebook. Was scrolling & was lucky enough to see a post about one of your books !
I found you on another author’s facebook.
Oh my gosh, it’s been quite a while so I honestly can’t remember. I do remember the first series was the Social Media series, back when they were separate books (and when Jana was your PA) 😁
Thanks for the chance 😁
Goodreads I don’t remember which book it was that I read but I clicked on see books that are similar and yours came up and I read them.
I think I found you on Facebook
I ran across one book as a free d/l and that started my quest to read all the books in all the series!
Through Kathy Coopmans 💕
It was from the website Fantastic Fiction. I looked up a book and yours was one listed as looked at by other visitors. I was addicted from that point forward. I still cannot get enough of your books. Thank you for writing such wonderful and thought provoking books
Amazon recommended it. Best purchase ever.
I don’t remember where, but I saw the blurb for Tragic on fb like 10 years ago. Thought it sounded good and it’s still in my top 5 favorite series.
321 was the first book I found on audible and I was immediately hooked!!! I listened to the whole thing in one day!!
I read the blurb for the first Bossy brothers and had to read it
Found the Mr Series on KU and fell in love with your writing/story telling!
I was browsing audiobooks on YouTube and the very first audiobook, I listen to was Mr. perfect. I instantly fell in love with this world and searched the rest of the series. I was so excited because I never read a book in my life for pleasure. It made me feel so good I went back and researched the author, which was you. Then I went back to the beginning with Tragic.
Thank you for creating this world that let me fantasize about these hot men!
I can’t remember where I first saw your books but Rook & Ronan series were the first of your books that I read.
I think the boddy Brothers were my 1st and it’s been going strong since. And i just thought o havent seen merc and wolla there it was and I grabbed it. Thank you
From one of patients who said I needed to spice up my love life. Boy was she right! I’m still working on it 🤣. Too many book boyfriends. I’m such a HO!!!!!!!
When I first subscribed to audible I snagged tragic and I was hooked.
I found you on Facebook. The first book was the Social Media series.
A recommendation through Amazon. Then I signed up for your newsletter and have been here ever since! Thanks for the wonderful and generous giveaways!
It was a facebook ad 🙂
I saw a post on Facebook about your books. Went and downloaded some and loved them.
It was when I finished listening to a book by cd reiss. Your name came up. After reading about Rook and Ronin. Then listening to there story I was hooked. I then began to find all your books….that was about 2 years ago. I have been hooked every since. I love your books. I’m slowly purchasing them. You are my favorite author ♥️
I was wondering through Amazon & found a free book. I don’t do audiobooks but I enjoy reading your books.
I found this giveaway from an email I received.
It was an Amazon recommendation. Best one click decision ever!!
on Goodreads
Thanks for Audible Plus and the Bossy Brothers first few books being offered with my membership. After reading Bossy Jesse I was hooked and after that I spent all my credits and bought more credits! I’ve lost all interest in traditional romance novels because they just pale by comparison. Julie’s story telling and world building knocks my socks off!!
I’ve read every single series and every standalone. The Rook and Ronin/Ford/Spencer books are my favorite, closely followed by the company. I’ve yet to be disappointed by anything she’s written. I am addicted to audiobooks and, again, her narrators have made me especially picky about anything else I listen to.
The Sin with Me series with Jonathan and the Misters Series. I’ve listened to these over and over. Mr & Mrs is the funniest thing ever and my go-to listen whenever I need a pick-me-up. Thanks, Julie!
I was browsing through Audibles and I found your books. I was hooked from the start. The books just keep you guessing.
I LOVE this series! I win a copy of Bomb, likely during a takeover. And, I’ve loved you since 🎄❤️🎄
I found you on Kindle Unlimited right after I joined it. It took me a while to figure out what order to read your books, but it was worth it. You amaze me with your creativity and work ethic!
The narrator / audible plus. I finished a series and was looking for a new book and I saw the narrator was narrating one of your books and it was in audible plus so free (my favorite way to find new authors) and I was hooked, next thing you know I have purchased all your audio books. It was love at first read 🙂
In one of my FB audibook groups there was a post about The Company. It immediately caught my attention. Someone commented that in order to truly experience this world she recommended to start with Rook & Ronin. I was hooked and have listened to every audiobook by Julie, numerous times! If only I could go back and thank those ladies in that FB group!
You gave a book of yours free and I got it. It was so hard to put down. Drew me in from the first page and I couldn’t put it down.
I found your books on Goodreads.
I’ve met you through a FB takeover. I was fascinated by one the excerpts you shared, bought the book and I’m following/reading you ever since!
A few years ago, my husband and daughter introduced me to ebooks. I was fascinated at the thought of carrying around my own library. I was directed to reader groups for recommendations and a lot of people kept talking about J A Huss and especially Vic is Vicious. So I checked it out and you had my heart and loyalty by the end of the first chapter. You’re a fantastic writer and I love your imagination and sense of humor. Thank you for sharing your worlds with us. 🙂
I was looking for a new book and found FIVE. In the book they talk about rook and Ronin and their parents and I wanted to know more. The series is definitely in my top three favorites. I also read a bunch of your other books and am completely obsessed!
Through blog / FB recommendations from other lovers of your books
I honestly don’t remember. But it was after Junco but before Social Media. I recommend your books to everyone! My mom doesn’t read them, but she knows you by name because I talk about you. However I found you, I’m so glad I did!!
I first was introduced to your books from a old co worker she gave me 321 and I fell in love
Eeks! I don’t recall, but once I dove in, I was in all the way!!!
From a kindle free book newsletter.
Definitely book group.
I stumbled opon Come in the Bend Anthropology and immediately searched for other Julie books. I found Ford and quickly realized this was part of a series, so I started at the beginning.
On Facebook. I’m pretty sure it was through another author group but it’s been so long I can’t remember which one.
It was an accident! I found Rook and Ronin and fell in love with your books.
I first came across your books when one of those, you might like this, links popped up on amazon for Tragic in 2013, and the rest is history! My first audio was Merc 💖😍💖😍
I believe it was around January 2021 that I saw on U Tube someone posted the first part Tragic online. Since it was still “Covid Time” I was looking for other things to keep me occupied as I was mostly alone. I never before listened to an audiobook. So, I decided to listen to it. I was done after that point. Looked into getting Audible. By February 2021 I bought my first audiobook Rook & Ronin Omnibus : The complete trilogy. I was hooked. Now after over 200 audiobooks it still is my favorite. Thank you. Have a wonderful holiday and New Year.
It was May 3, 2019, and I was browsing books on Amazon when a recommendation for
“Three, Two, One” caught my eye. Little did I know that clicking on that link would lead to a budget-busting new obsession. That book was unlike anything I had read in my 60 years on this earth, so I went searching for more stuff by this JA Huss person. I bought “The Triangle” later that same day, and 3 days later I was the proud owner of the complete “Turning Series”. By the end of 2019, I had purchased both the Kindle and Audible versions of every book in Julie’s backlist and had placed my first-ever book pre-order (“Bossy Brothers: Alonzo”). My Huss-McClain collection is currently up to date, and I can’t wait to see what she/they come up with next!
I first found you through a giveaway many years ago
First book of yours was Total Exposure. It was November of 2021 and I was new to audiobooks and I found it and was like WOAH! It was also my first spicy book as well.
Vic Vaughn is Vicious is the first book I saw of yours. I read it and was hooked. I immediately devoured the rest of your back list and have (not so) patiently waited for each new release.
I won this Omnibus in a contest and have been hooked ever since!
I have Amazon Kindle to thank for finding you. After the first year of the COVID pandemic I went through a rough patch both physically and mentally and reading has always been my escape, my safe haven. I rarely read romance books but I began then and one author let to another author and then kindle suggested that I read one of the books from KC Cross 😂. The rest is history. The first of your books I read was Booty Hunter from The Harem Station and I saved Junco for last, because Junco.
Then in one of your EOBS you suggested your FB group and I was done for. I have you to thank for getting into Audiobooks. You suggested it in one of your comments in the FB group and that was a game changer for me because I was losing my eyesight pretty fast. So thank you Julie.
I really can’t remember where I first found your books, but I think it might have been on Bookbub.
I saw a Facebook post about your books so I done some research on Amazon😜 I have found a lot of new authors like this on FB.
I stumbled on His Turn, then all the books about The Company, could not stop listening or reading…love love the men and the strong women in your books..
I found your books through Bookbub recommendations and started with the Bossy Brothers and then kept going from there!
Hi. I found your books in a Facebook group someone was recommending your books. Then I started to follow you and read your books and I’ve been captivated ever since. Merry Christmas everyone ☃️ ❤ thank you so much 🎄☃️🎅
I found you on kindle unlimited and binged everything i could get my hands on lol.
Through a blog I read with recommendations for books.
I first say your books mentioned on Facebook, my sister loves your books and sent me a link.
I found your books through Audible Plus and the first book I listened to was Eighteen! I fell in love with it. My next book was In To Her, and from then on, I downloaded EVERY book you had available on Audible plus. I also started to buy your books with my regular credits, birthday, and Christmas credits. I currently own 73 of your books and I’m not stopping there! I’ve become addicted to your writing because you write so well. I read so much, that normally I can predict the ending to most books, but I can’t say that about your writing. You’ve always got a twist and I LOVE THAT!
I found you through audible! Creeping Beautiful waste first series I ate through and I have now listened or read everything I can find! I appreciate how much of your work is out there for free as it really opened up my reading genres. Love your work!
I found them through my mom. She had read a few and shared them with me.
I learned about your book through Audible Plus starting with In To Her. I devoured the Rook and Ronin series this week, and I just started the Company today. I love it so much!
I found your books in March 2022. I received a Kindle and Kindle unlimited subscription for Christmas. On Facebook page there was a recommendation for your book “Taking Turns”. I was hooked! After that, I spent the next months reading every one of your books that were out.
In 2021 I had been reading another series that involved a master. I believe the Turning Series came up in my KU as a recommendation for my next read.. I started there and read every single story you had available on KU. For some unknown reason the only stories I haven’t read is the Junco books.
It was either on Facebook or in another author’s newsletter.
blog post
Not sure but I think it I saw it on bookbub or red feather romance and I down loaded it.
A kindle ad on my kindle or Facebook I cant remember which but it was Sick Heart and and then I looked at your other books and started at the beginning and binged them all ❤️
I believe I found your books on Facebook.
So my first book I read of yours was 18. Remember I love an Age-gap story. I read somewhere that this is your story or loosely based on you. So I read it and I loved it. Since then I have read more of your books.
Social media was the first series I’ve read by you and was hooked ever since. Thank you so much for the chance.
I don’t remember exactly, but I’m guessing probably through an authors page or readers group on Facebook. I think maybe I got Tragic for free and started there, then followed to The Misters… and continued on.
Rook and Ronin was my first book series by you. I fell in love with your writing style and characters 🥰❤️
I found your books by accident while scrolling through amazon.
I got a free download from a newsletter I used to subscribe to. I chose Tragic, and, holy hell, I was completely addicted to all things Julie, lol.
I found you when I started The Misters Series & have been OBSESSED ever since! ☺️
🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄
Merry Christmas!
I found your books by looking through KU for something new.
I found you on Facebook & thanks for the chance 🙂
My best friend told me about your books. She actually did a reread with me starting at room and ronin. The rest is history!
A couple of years ago I was on a Sebastian York kick. I searched his name on Audible so I could listen to anything he narrated that was included with Audible Plus. One of these gems was Rock! That was the first book I listened to of yours and that’s what got me hooked! I have been a fan ever since 😀
I first found your books through a friend on Facebook
Amazon recommended this book and I fell in love with your writing. I’d never wrote an author I didn’t personally know to tell them how much I loved their book before (and to be honest I’ve not done it since), but I took the chance and you replied. The start of some of the best friendships I have came from that. I reread and/or re-listen to this series yearly. It will forever be my favorite. I’ve never gifted a series more either. Thank you for being you and giving everyone the gift of your writing.
I found your books on Facebook and have been A fan ever since.
Thanks for the opportunity!
I found you by using free audible subscriptions a few years ago and your books were available on there and I fell in love!!!
Dec 2018 an ARC opportunity for Dirty Ones. Been reading you ever since….. <3
I’ve been reading your books for so long that I can’t recall a time before them—and this a time when I first discovered them. I’m a HEAVY kindle reader, and my best guess is that one of your books comments up while searching another author’s stuff, and I bit. And now the rest is history! And it’s been such a fun, emotional, satisfying ride!
Found out about you on Facebook
It might be through Facebook, but I really can’t be sure.
milwaukee, wi – I got hooked on JA Huss reading Rook and Ronin. I burned through those stories
From Facebook advertising
I first found your books when I met you at a signing several years ago. You were so kind and I was really interested in the types of books you write.
Silly me: I found Tragic/Manic/Panic as a box set (going discounted) years ago & I haven’t looked back since 🙂
Also: silly me: I have ALL your books anyway – so you can’t tempt me at all 🙂
I may not (yet) have read the latest series Creeping Beautiful (I have them all) nor Blood Lovers (so shoot me) but I HAVE them lined up…. 🙂
If it’s not quite clear – I DO appreciate all your writings 🙂
it’s been too long so not sure but i believe on facebook.
I first found your books on Amazon with my Kindle membership I believe.
I found you through Audible Plus with In To Her. I listed with my jaw dropped thinking “why the hell haven’t I read any of her books before?!?” That one got me hooked.
I found your book when I was surfing the internet looking for books
I found your books from a book club I joined. The first book I read was the Rook story, Tragic. So happy I found you! 😍
I found you through FB.
Probably Amazon Kindle with rook and Ronin.
I discovered your books on Kindle Unlimited. I loved physical books, but they take up a lot of room. I also read quickly and go through a large quantity, so i relied on ebooks from the library. Thankfully, Kindle Unlimited exposed me to new authors without the library wait list. I have now read every book you have available on KU and look forward to many more!
Not sure. I think it was a referral form kindle. Bought it. Loved it. The rest is history
I first found you on Instagram.
I found you on audible. 123 was my first book and then I had to start from the beginning. I was hooked!!!
I found out about you through a giveaway.
To tell the truth, I honestly don’t remember – might of been a recomendation or one of your books caught my eye or it could have been a contest or giveaway. I do know that I am glad I did.
It was 10 years ago on good reads. Tragic -Rook and Ronin #1. I’ve been a Hugh fan ever since.
Pretty sure it was Amazon, but it could have been Apple Books.
Came across an ad for Rook and was intrigued. Now I’m hooked and recommend you to all my friends and family.
Recommendations from other readers on Facebook— way back in the day!
When I first started buying Kindle books I was all about the covers. The sugared lips with the cherry had me clicking right away. I read it in a day and have been reading you ever since. I think it’s still my favorite cover.
I don’t remember but most likely I found you on facebook or goodreads
Several book groups on Facebook. They would recommend books from different tropes.
My memory has been bad due to meds I’m taking so forgive me if I’m wrong but I’m almost positive I first read the Turning series & then Jordan’s Games. I adored both series! Still do. They’re part of the bks that I come back to & consistently reread. From there, it was an easy jump to the Mr Srs, Rock & Ronin, Social Media, Naughty Things, Original Sin, but tbh, I have no idea what order I read those in. We’re going to hit a period of time that was bad both politically & personally & sadly the personal trials continue so while reading your bks gives me an escape, I can’t give a roadmap of how I precisely went from srs to srs. Let alone to singular bks, which I also found fascinating (321, Vic Vaughn is Vicious, In to Her). And now I’m blanking on the most recent one, a romcom (most recent for me at least, The Ro Ho, something like that. I haven’t yet finished it but I know I will enjoy it bc your name is on the cover. Clearly it’s completely dif than my first foray into your bks, but that’s another thing I enjoy about them. Every single bk isn’t so similar that people can easily confuse one w another (the way I feel about John Grisham novels). If I have the name wrong I apologize. I know I should probably just look it up but time is precious so I hope it’s right. It doesn’t look right however. Thank you for all the yrs of enjoyment though!! They’ve helped me through some really rough patches. They’ve made a difference!
Facebook most likely. The Rook and Ronin series started me out with your books.
I first found Junco on Audible early last year. I enjoyed her heroism and troubles in the two audio books so much, I had them consumed in a couple of weeks. That was just the beginning.
First found you searching for free books when I got my first kindle for Christmas in 2014.Been hooked since
I first read The Company after seeing it on a FB group- I’ve read it probably 5 times now. It’s one of my most favorite books ever. ❤️
I’m not sure. I think it was a BookFunnel “you’ll be added to these emails distribution lists” type of thing
throught a christmas giveaway last year just like this one
I found your books from a friend. She told me I won’t regret it and I haven’t. ☺️💜
You were suggested to me in a readers group. I was advised to start with Junco or Rook & Ronin. I’ve been reading your books every since
Via goodreads
I found you via Facebook.
The Mister series popped up on my kindle recommended list. I devoured them, and then every single book in your library!
I believe that I was provided an ARC of one of your books many years ago.
Probably referred by another romance writer! But I am no longer sure.
Audible recommended Bossy Joey as a free book. I bought the rest of the Bossy books and that was it… Now I am hooked!
In one of my Facebook groups, I was looking for authors who wrote excellent stories with twists. Someone who could write something that I didn’t see coming. I wanted characters that were written well enough that they would seem real to me. I wanted to laugh, cry, and feel all of the emotions. Someone recommended that I try your books. I wanted a taste of what you could do before I wanted to commit to a series so I looked for a standalone and found 321. I fell in love the moment I read the “I saw her first” scene. I was hooked. 321 gave me characters who felt real, made me cry my eyes out, and gave me twists I didn’t see coming. It’s still in a special place in my heart. I immediately dove into Rook and Ronin and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. I don’t remember who recommended your books to me, but I owe them a “thank you!”
It was actually a Goodreads recommendation. I was hooked for the first pages of Rook and Ronin.
The first Facebook reader’s group I found, I made a few good online book friends and they recommended Three, Two One and the Rook and Rinin series. I devoted them all and kept reading your books. It was probably in 2016 I believe. Thank you so much for the chance!
Christine Reiss shoved Tragic in my hand back in the dawn of time. So proud to be a Day 1 Shriker
I don’t remember! I’m just so glad that I found your books 📚. I’m a huge fan of your romance genre and your EOBS. I’m strictly an audiobooks person and just finished your Anarchy series and there was no EOBS on audible for these…not sure why. Anyhoo just so impressed with your creativity and super unique stories and worlds. ❤️
I first found your books via a book freebie email. It gave a list of free and discounted books and I think 321 was on the list. Since then I’ve been hooked.
You had a promo on Sadiesspotlight.
First learned of your books thru Amazon scrolling. It was the Rook & Ronin series. I have since bought, read & listened to everything of yours, most more than once. Always hungry for more.
I found you on Facebook, thanks for a chance 🎄☃️
I think I first found your books through a giveaway I entered.
I first found your books through a giveaway, and then the Audible plus catalog.
Free book offer from somewhere
Email
A friend of mine and I had read a few romance series and we came across 3,2,1. It wasn’t her cup of tea, but I was hooked. From there I started the Rook and Ronin series and I had to read everything in that world…and then everything else because I was a Huss addict, lol!
I answered this on FB but I’ll add the same thing here pretty much. Rook and Ronin were the first books of yours that I found. I saw someone writing about it in a FB group. Then when I went to Amazon and found it, I knew it was fated for me to read it because…CHERRIES!! I actually found you and your books because of the cherry covers. I have the whole set and they are my favorite book covers ever! I knew your books would be very cool because you had to be so cool to use cherry covers!! Then from the very first pages I knew I found my unicorn author. A special gem among gems. So this gift set is cherries and a unicorn, how perfect is that? Cherries and unicorns are my thing. Thanks for caring about us! We love you! ❤️🍒🦄
It was either Goodreads or Amazon, then looked for you Facebook.
they were recommend in another blog i follow
I came across your books as suggested from Kindle/Audible based on my reading habits. Now I stalk you on all your platforms so I can read all your books.
I honestly can’t remember how I first found you, more than likely through a contest.
I stumbled across your books in Kindle unlimited during a free trial.
I can’t remember but most likely a free book email
I’m pretty sure it was through kindle unlimited many, many years ago.
I first found your books when searching the Audible catalogue for Jacob Morgan titles (ah Alonzo 🙂 ). From there I had to go back and do the series from the start, then i just kept going after that lol.
I was looking for romance novels on Audiable that were included with my subscription and found Bossy Bros. I started listening and was instantly hooked, a humor with the seriousness and some amazing sex scenes. I had to read/listen to more. I am working my way through the library and have enjoyed all of them so far.
Facebook. A blog mentioned your book and it sounded good so I read it.
A dear friend of mine recommended Rook & Robin to me when I started having to commute, hated traffic & found Audible to help relieve the stress that was creating. I fell in love with the series instantly & now have read nearly all your books! I think I just have 2 or 3 to catch up.
I found you through a “you might like” ad. I am eclectic in my reading habits, so you are a great find.
Wow, was a long time ago. It might have been through the book world online, maybe in a group or a giveaway takeover. All i know is, that once i started with Rook and Ronin, i just never looked back and I have wanted more and more ever since. Your words are addictive. Lol But at least it’s the safe kind. I’m a proud book junkie and i never want to come down from that particular buzz. 😂 Happy Holidays! 🎄💕
I’m pretty sure it was another author’s email that I had subscribed to – no matter – Booty Hunter was just the beginning for me.
I had found you on Facebook about 4 years ago I think and it was sick heart I fall in love with reading all over again I had to buy the book and I have read it atleast 5 times!!!
I believe it was through a free kindle book promotion. It was Tragic. And that was it I had to go and get all of them to read.
I’m an Audible junkie and came across my first book of yours there. Once I completed it, I had to find everything you wrote. I’m working my way through them now and I’m loving every minute of it. Rook & Ronin was GREAT!
oh wow – It all started a few years ago with Jordan’s Game series – I think I found Total Exposure back when Audible Escape was still a thing. I’ve read a lot of your books Julie, but I have a lot more to go. My very fave so far is the Turning series. So creative and gripping. Bravo, lady. Bravo.
I’m not sure I remember but I’m guessing it was either Facebook or Amazon.
Love jason clarke & troy duran found yiur books this way & now have all of them on kindle & audio
YouTube search. I was looking for books to listen to while I was working, and came across them. I was hooked from the beginning with Rook and Ronin.
Honestly can’t remember. I’m sure it was Facebook or book blogger. That’s where I get all my reads from.
friend recommended it
I don’t remember but it was probably through another author recommendation. Thank you for the opportunity. 😀
i DON’T REMEMBER WHEN OR HOW. JUST GLAD I DID.
I honestly can’t remember. It was either thru an email or facebook
I came across your book 321 and I’ve been following you ever since.
I was just trying out audible for the first time and The Triangle was a suggested book. It’s the first book I listened to in audible and I haven’t stopped since. I was hooked completely and have gone down every rabbit hole and tunnel you put out.
I found your books on Kindle Unlimited and am so ever grateful for it. I started with The Mister Series which was my first ever interconnected series that I thoroughly enjoyed and totally hooked me in. Thank you for the many hours of reading pleasure!
❄️🦌🕯️Merry Christmas 🌟&👼 Blessed New Year 🎄☃️🎅
OMG!! It was through Kindle. I was just learning about steamy romances (Thank you Fifty 😉 Just browsing through Kindle Unlimited I found The Bossy Brothers Series. I found Johnny’s book first but quickly realized it was a series. Johnny’s wound up being my favorite. I mean Johnathan McClain has such a sexy voice and I love how he interprets the characters, and Johnny was so domineering <3 But the plot and the whole story in general anyway had me hooked and I became a ride or JA HUSS FAN!!! Like for life! I binged ALL of your books until there was nothing else to read or listen to. Now I have to wait. But its ok. I know it will always be good!
I found you through a giveaway!
I used to only read thrillers until the whole FSOG controversy and I read the series just to see what it was about. From there, I somehow found the indie book world on Facebook and then I found you and I’m forever grateful for that. ❤️
Rook and Ronin the Complete Series was the first book of yours I bought. It was one of those if you read this, you’ll like this recommendation on Amazon. Since it was 7 books for $5, I gave it a try and have loved your books ever since.
I found you through Facebook with 321 and I instantly became a fan!
Contest site
I discovered you when a friend recommended the book Losing Francesca.
I found your Taking Turns series on Amazon and I was hooked. I then read everything I could. 😁
On Facebook, saw an add for one of your books and thought that looks good.
They were recommended to me by a friend.
I downloaded a free copy of Tragic.
I had an Amazon Unlimited subscription and was offered Tragic as a suggestion. I opened it and everything else is history as they say.
It was purely by accident honestly. I was going down to visit my grands the following weekend and needed an audiobook because I had just bought a truck that I could hook my phone up to. It was this past February because my grandson was born January 23rd. I was going through the lists of book and I saw Joey. He was hot so I read the details and figured I’d give it a shot. The drive is 3.5 hours one way and by hour 1, I was hooked. I listened to it all weekend long when I had a minute and managed to finish it in the way back home. I was listening to your EOBS and you said to download Creeping Beautiful and I shit you not, I pulled over on the side of the road and downloaded it right there 😂😂😂 I was obsessed and I have now either read or listened to every one of your books, and I’m still obsessed ❤️❤️
To be honest, I do not recall.
I had just joined audible plus
And one of your
Books was free to listen then
I kept looking for more. I then stalked your website and Facebook and I’m so glad I did!
Rook and Ronin was a suggestion on Amazon. Best suggestion they have ever given me.
I do not remember!
I keep trying to remember but come up with no clear sincere. BUT! Thank goodness I found you because I just can’t seem to get enough. So please keep writing and I will keep listening/reading. You’re the best😁
had just joined audible plus

Books was free to listen then
I kept looking for more. I then stalked your website and Facebook and I’m so glad I did!
Through Audible somehow!
I think it was a Facebook or Amazon ad for Taking Turns back in 2017 and OMG, I fell in love. I have read and listened to everything you have done since. You not only got me into “dark” romance, but you also turned me into an audiobook junkie!
I remember someone mentioned you to me back in 2013. And that’s when I read Tragic and fell in love with Rook, Ronin, and the rest of the characters. TEN YEARS AGO! And I’ve reread the series several times!
I honestly don’t remember exactly, but I think it was through a freebie of one of the Misters. Promptly fell in love…with the author! <3
I found you when I read the Taking Turns series. Loved it so much, I read pretty much all of your books. BUT, I still haven’t read the Rook and Ronan series! I will read it one day, I’ve read the Misters series, and characters of Rook and Ronan make an appearance in the Mrs. Book.
I drive a lot for work so listen to a lot of audiobooks. I was searching for audible for by length and came across the Junco series.
I started with the Turning series. Then I read everything I could on your backlist. The Company books are absolute perfection!
Good question- it was SOOOO long ago. It was on audible. came across 321 and the Turning Series. I was immediately hooked and have devoured everything you have written since then. I can read and listen to 321 and the turning series over and over again but have loved every world you have created so far
I first found you books through Facebook.
I was in a group that was looking for ARC readers. Jana asked me to read 321 and I was hooked for life.
I discovered you with the Turning Series. I-then met you at a signing in Boston and you asked if it was okay to-write f$ck in my dedication. I knew I had found my people!
It’s been a while but I know I found your books online. Probably saw a post on Facebook or Twitter.
Through Facebook.
Pretty sure Rook & Ronin came across my FB & that was the start of it all!
I found you on Amazon looking for something cool to read. Have been addicted ever since!
I don’t honestly know how I found you other than it was probably In To Her included in my Audible Plus membership at one time. After that, I found Rook & Ronin and I’ve been hooked ever since!
I love to read the blurbs on bookbub and other sites. I started with the Turning series, read The Misters, and looked for more.
On Goodreads.🙂 Mr. Perfect was my first.❤️
LOL! I actually can’t remember how I came across your books. It must have been fate!
I really don’t remember how I found you. I know I read The Turning Series first, then it just went on from there, and I’ve been a loyal fan ever since. Love your books and your collaborations!
I’m pretty sure it was on Amazon for Kindle Unlimited books. It was the Taking Turns box set and I’ve been hooked ever since!!
I remember Mr. Perfect being the first book of yours that I read. I don’t remember how I found it though. It was probably thru Facebook.
Your books were recommended to me by audible based on my listenings.
I was on the hunt for books narrated by Troy Duran…several of your books popped up in the search and I went down the JA Huss rabbit hole!
I can’t remember how I found you, but I’m glad that I did. I somehow signed up for your newsletter, maybe through the Harem Station books? And was intrigued with your Christmas giveaways and the incredible artwork. I finally downloaded and tried out your Rook & Ronin audiobooks and that was the end. I was hooked.
I saw an ad on Facebook or Instagram for a free audio book of yours.
Friends or authors’ newsletters.
About 10 year ago, I broke both of my feet at the at the same time and one of my best friends said, well you have time….. you HAVE to read This series Rook and Ronin……. and BOOM. I have been a fan. Each of your books that I have read are my favorite. Then your books with Jonathan are flawfless, I will continue read and list them over and over.
Facebook. There was a post bout the Company and I was immediately intrigued. I started looking up your books and reading. I have been a fan for a long time, through a lot of releases. I will always be a fan.
I think on Amazon, but I honestly don’t remember.
Facebook
Your books were recommended to me by a friend with words such as you can count on her writing some quality stuff with twists and turns and good sexy times. I was immediately sold and have been a fan since reading Eighteen which was my first book from you.
I was browsing my kindle looking for something new to read and came across your name. I did some research for your books and reading order and was hooked from day 1. Thanks to your amazing mind, I get to have a break from reality!
It’s been forever ago. I believe it was from other recommendations on Goodreads or finding your Facebook page.
I believe I received a free book of yours. Once I finish a freebie and I like it I then sign up with the author. Thank you so much.
I know it was in facebook. I know when I read the blurb I loved it. Then throw in the animals and your little stories about them and I was hooked.
Thank You 😎

I read your book on Radish then I met you at Book Bonanza.
I believe Ford was recommended to me on one of the lists I was looking at TBR books for. I read it and LOVED it.
Via Kindle Unlimited
I have no idea how I found it but I fell in love with your writing from this series and have read or listened to every one since. Going through swag a few months ago I found a Christmas card you sent in I think 2015! It’s you, Jana and a model that I think was taken at RARE. I think that’s what Marie Jocke said. But finding Tragic made me a huge fan ❤️
Man I honestly don’t remember lol. Either on Facebook or just browsing.
I first found out about you on Facebook! I can’t remember the exact post, but that is where I found out about you and from there I signed up for newsletters!
I found your books from your Facebook page.
I first found your books on Facebook.
I believe it was a contest that had a bunch of authors listed and the rest is history
I found you just scrolling through Audible looking for a free book before a road trip and I found 18!
I was hooked!
I saw your books recommended on other author’s pages. I fell in love with them.
I found your site years ago. I think I enter a contest and your site was there.
I found them by looking at your page on Facebook.

I can’t remember but it was probably through a giveaway
On Facebook, a friend tagged me in a giveaway. Merry Christmas!
I stumbled across the Bossy books, by the 3rd book I felt like I was missing something. So I started looking around and started at the beginning, Rook and Ronin. And I was sucked in. I live every single book!!
Most likely some book site 🙂 Thanks!
I first discovered you back in 2016. The book was “Follow” from the “Social Media” series & I finished the entire series in days! It was a goodreads recommendation and after I read that series, I was hooked on reading your books & following you as a favourite author! Any friends who ask for a good book rec or author to read, you’re my go-to suggestion.
Internet
I can’t remember. I know I have been a fan forever. I will continue to be a fan.
A friend recommended your books to try to introduce me to reading RH/why choose books.
Kindle Unlimited
I don’t remember but probably through giveaways or free books.
I believe I found you through “books recommended for you” on Amazon. I devoured Rook and Ronin. I could not get enough and wondered where you had been all my reading life! I then stalked you to a FB group and got on your Advanced Reader group and I refuse to leave! I love your books and the way you write.
Through Facebook.
It was a find in audible… I believe it was the Rook & Ronin series but what hooked me in was EOBS… Don’t get me wrong I love the books inside and out, but the EOBS keeps me coming back for more. Thank you for sharing your imagination with us all!
I have a terribly memory but I want to say Facebook but I also listen to your books lol
Been a minute but I think it was a bossy post or ad, read it and had to read them all.
I don’t remember exactly but probably through another author newsletter
I think it was the Bossy Brothers….that series sucked me in and blew me away!!!
Quite some time ago, I found you on Facebook.
The first book I ever read or honestly listed to was 321. I’m a huge Sebastian York fan. After I finished that wonderful book is when I listened to Tragic and the rest is history’s for me. I’m pretty sure I’ve read and listened to every one of your books!! Also I’m thinking about homeschooling what curriculum did you go with? Merry Christmas my friend.
I found you by happy accident. I was looking for books with a reverse harem type situation on audible and I found the Turning Series. I listen to Taking Turns and there was no looking back.
Good old Facebook back in the day where you could actually see everything. I saw one of your posts, one clicked and here we are today.
Not sure I remember..it was on Facebook for sure..as the first book I read was I am just junco
A book blog featured Rook and Ronin’s book. I bought it and the rest is history!
I signed up for a freebie and got you ! Yeah!
My first book of yours was actually the audio book for Mr. Perfect. It is still ones of my top favorites to listen to.
Found you a few years ago, in a group. I got curious with Turning Series and after reading it boom, I became a fan! I love you and your books
I saw a promotion for the first Harem Station book (Star Crossed) when it released. I read all of those and started checking out all your back list books
Seriously? It was so long ago, it probable was a Facebook recommendation. Whatever it was, I’m glad i’m here….
I think I found you because of a Kobo recommendation. Love at first read!
Hi Julie,
Thanks again for another wonderful year!
The books you released in 2023 were as fantastic as ever!
I would have to say I stumbled onto your books through another author… after being recommended by AMAZON audiobooks, I have been addicted ever since.
Merry Coming to you and yours.
I found you through Facebook
I believe it was Facebook party in a group..
My first JA Huss book was Into her. It was free in audible, so I was like why not give it a try. I was hooked. Now I’ve got to read everything you put out Julie
It was a suggestion on Amazon and I was blown away by Sin With Me!
A Facebook party or book link. Can’t rightly recall as it was so long ago. Not even sure if it was a kc cross or ja huss book first even that got me hooked on you. Love your writing.
From one of giveaway from facebook. Thank you for the chance.
I love student/teacher romances and actively search for them or anything adjacent really, because there can just never be enough for me. I came across Eighteen in one of my many searches years ago and I loved it and your writing style SO much and that was all she wrote! Big fan ever since
I found your books through an email sale of Mr. Perfect! Thanks for the chance!
I honestly can’t even remember exactly how I came across your books…I do know I had seen many recommendations for your stories and audiobooks on both Facebook and Instagram and advertisements about your books too.
So I got a couple on ebooks
But then discovered you had some on Audiobooks and that was it..Audios are my favourite right now and couldn’t resist yours.
THANKYOU so much for the chance.
It was pure luck I came across Pretty Thing. I think to was a recommendation based on books I listened to on audible. Once I read that I was hooked on your writing. I quickly went to your blog page and started reading all your books. (In order)
Multiple author giveaway.
A friend recommended 321 and I was hooked.
I found you through bookbub and goodreads and then a few days later you popped up as a suggestion on Amazon for what to read next
I honestly don’t remember how I found your books, I just remember reading the Rook & Ronin series and I was hooked.
On Facebook! I was in search or a new author to branch out to and you popped up! started reading and have been hooked ever since.
Amazon
I met you either via another authors Facebook or another authors newsletter I honestly can’t remember as it’s been quite a while ago.
I found you early on in 2013, but I honestly can’t remember how. Maybe an email list sharing books and special deals? But I do know I’ve been hooked ever since.
I was looking for a book to read on Amazon a long, long time ago and saw this book called 321. I thought it sounded like a good read. I read it and was blown away and I’ve been a JA Hussoholic ever since! I love you and I love what you do, thank you!!
Audible as a part of the Audible+ subscription.
I don’t know what book was my first but I’m pretty sure I came across one of your audiobooks in the plus catalog for free and I was hooked. This series was one of the first and they are my favorite!
I think my first books by you were the Bossy Brothers. I was looking for books on kindle Unlimited. I’ve read most everything now, including KC Cross. I can’t get enough. I also love your work with Jonathan McClain.
Audible led me to you. The In To Her audiobook caught my attention during my first month and I started binging all your included books. The Rook and Ronin series was first audiobooks I purchased. Now it’s hard to remember a time JA Huss books weren’t in my life 💖
It was the first Book Bonanza in Denver in 2017. I met you through a new friend I met the day before. I talked to you a bit on where I should start. I started with Rook and Ronin (funny it would be today’s book). Ever since, I’ve been able to see you at each of the BB that you’ve attended, and along with Johnathan ❤️
I found you on audible.
My BFF Cate told me about you!
I think I found you through a multiple author giveaway. I then signed up for your newsletter.
Pretty Things came up as a suggestion for me in the Audible Plus Catalog. In To Her got me hooked. It is one of two books that I recommend to all my reader friends. I have not looked back. Your books introduced me to Johnathan McClain and soooo many wonderful narrators. I’m thankful.
I got a KOBO ereader in 2012 and started reading a lot of classics that I hadn’t read before, because they were free or .99,then I started checking out Indie authors that were offering free books and I found Tragic, absolutely loved it,so I bought the rest of the series and have been buying your books ever since! I do like to collect signed copies of my favorite books and would love to have this Thank You!
I can’t remember er exactly how I found you and your books, I think it was a recommendation through an online book blog but Tragic/Manic/Panic were the first books I read. I loved Rook and Ronin and I was hooked. I remember waiting impatiently for the next book and then it was ‘f**kin Ford’ 😍, then Spencer and then Merc it was a series that just kept on giving and it’s still one of my favourites 🥰
I found them through a shared Facebook post.
I found you on Facebook post.
I found your books through a suggestion by Amazon to read Bossy Brothers: Jesse in August of 2021. I have been a reader ever since.
The first book of yours I read was Taking Turns I think I was referred it via another author and liked the blurb. Read the book and others, joined your NL and the rest is history 😜
From a recommendation on goodreads
I found your books on Facebook!
I believe I found your books through another author. I do not remember who but through their newsletter.
I first saw your books when I did the free trial of Audible. I looked for free books and found your books and I was hooked.
You were part of a giveaway (newsletter subscription promo) & I’ve stayed subscribed ever since 😊
I was looking through audible for books included in my membership in the adult romance section and I saw the cover of Jesse from the Bossy Brothers series. The guy on the cover was HOT, so I listened to it. Needless to say, I was hooked. I googled JA Huss, found the website, and found the reading order of all of the books and the KC Cross books and the Huss/McClain books. Then I listened to nothing else for seven months until I had listened to them all. I usually find new authors by the covers of their books or once I hear a narrator that I like, I will find all of the books that they have narrated and start listening to all of them.
Oh my!!! Sweating like whores in a church! I met you & your books at a book signing in Los Angeles, A Night of Corruption. This was my very first book signing. & it was held at a church reception hall. The weather that night was God awful hot but so much fun!!! Meeting great authors, new friends & having a great time!
Will never forget it♥
Through audiobooks first. I’m a big fan of Teddy Hamilton, and he narrated Five, so…
I was introduced to your books in a giveaway a few years ago!
I think it was a recommendation from another author’s email. Glad I found you!
I think it was in 2014 I was looking for someone new to read. and hopefully something on sale on Amazon. I came across I Am Junco and the blurb was very interesting and I wanted to get it, but as I kept browsing I found the other separate books that make the complete series. I couldn’t get them all so didn’t make a decision to purchase that day. I went back in the next day or two and found miraculously there was a Junco Omnibus including all the books from the series at a really great price and I snatched it up fast. And from then on I have been a fan of every book you have ever written. I’m burrowed deep down in the rabbit hole and I’m not coming back. ❤❤❤
I found you in the Bend anthology. I don’t remember how I found Bend but I got the e-book and gravitated to you and CD Reiss stories and have been a huge fan every since.
It was quite some time ago when I had discovered KU and there was a comment on a blog I was reading at the time recommending Rook & Ronin as a MUST READ! Well, I trusted my fellow romance fan and I was hooked and devoured the whole series in no time. I quickly found the audio with Troy Duran narrating and that started my love for audiobooks too.
Poor I can’t remember, I think it was a recommendation by another author…maybe Riley edwards
My sister Deanna S found 321, and said sissy, you have to read this. Julie became our favorite from that book. Then we started from the beginning. A couple of my sons have become fans which my daughters in law appreciate. Lol
email
On Amazon while browsing.
I think I found you through a Facebook group, not sure really, but glad I did!
I found your books via a newsletter freebie.
Your book was recommend from a friend.
I got hooked on the company “world” before Covid. I read forward in the world and then backed up and read according to a page I found that had your reading order. I may have missed a couple of your books but not many.
Kitty Thomas recommended you as an author to read. A glowing, compelling recommendation. Well, she’s a very compelling writer, hence why she quickly became my favourite. I started with the Mister series, was blown away, and it went from there!
It was through Facebook a few years ago and I started reading the Rook & Ronin series. Then I was emailed to do a couple ARC requests and I just kept going from there. I loved being an ARC reader for you and just wait to get another request to do an ARC. Picking up and reading the first book in R&R series was the best as it brought me to loving a great author.
I honestly can’t remember which book got me hooked. I was using the free audiobooks from my library app and I think it might have been Jesse or one from that series first. Then I had to back track and read The Company in the recommended order. Not only are your stories amazing, but you select the best narrators that bring your story alive. Then, the EOBS hooked me harder. I love that insider scoop you provide. It made me love YOU, and not just your stories.
I had finished watching the Bridgerton series and went to read the books on Kindle. I started listening to romance audiobooks in Audible but needed more. I stumbled upon your audiobooks and couldn’t get enough. No turning back!
Recommendation on a site on Facebook. Then followed you on Goodreads/Amazon.
I think it was through another author’s recommendation from an email. I usually find new authors that way or I see them on social media (Facebook, Instagram). I’m not going to lie, I prefer the hot ‘photo’ covers, not the drawn/depicted ones. If I see a photo of a really hot model or a couple in an embrace, I’m sold. I do read the blurb/synopsis, but it’s after I see the front cover photo!
I found your books on a recommended for you list on my Kindle.
My friend gave me a books of yours to read years ago and loved it.
I had googled Troy Duran, because I love his narration expertise. He mentioned you as an author, and how great your books were. This was at the beginning of my Audible experience, and I didn’t really know authors or stories like you and yours existed after that, I was hooked!
Through a Facebook reader group
I was on audible and your book popped up- Bossy: Jesse. I read and was hooked. You also introduced me to Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan as the readers. I just can’t get enough. My favorite is the Rook and Ronin series. It was just AWESOME!! Thank you for writing such awesome books.
I think I saw your name at a book convention I was going to and I was trying to read something by all the authors. Then I found Taking Turns audiobook and was hooked!
I was looking for books narrated by Jason Clarke. Found Tragic… trying to read all of them now.
I really don’t remember how I have found “Tragic” and I was completely hooked from the time I started reading it.
Love Rook and Ronin and the whole series.
I was scrolling on Tik Tok and someone was talking about 321. When I saw it was on kindle unlimited I thought I would try it out. Then I spent the next few months reading everything JA Huss.
The first book of yours I had the pleasure of reading was actually The Savage Rage of Fallen Gods under K.C. Cross! It was a book tour and the cover and concept pulled me in, and the story blew me away!
Facebook
I found you when Amazon mentioned your books as similar to another series I liked. I love author recomendations – they are one of the big reasons I subscribe to author emails.
The first Julie book I read was the audible of Five – and I immediately fell in love with Rory, Five and the world Julie built in Colorado. Like I would learn with all her books, she does an amazing job at world building – so much so that I had to read all of her books. The love stories are swoon worthy as well – but not cloying. Also the biggest reason is the mind fuck – nobody does it better than Julie! Her imagination is just incredible and her writing is so good that it’s no wonder that people read the stories multiple times. But the start of The Company series is really the absolute best at drawing you in to these amazing men and the bizarre circumstances and amazing women they fall in love with.
There was a period of time where I was really into the bullying trope and I did a search on Amazon and found Bully King. That’s how I got to know you 🙂
I first found you from a facebook reading group. I am so happy that I did. I love your books.
I was surfing around KU for an interesting book to read that also had an audiobook component. Nothing was grabbing my attention until I saw the cover for “The Company”. I started reading/listening to it and though it was good there were parts referenced that pointed that indicated to me that I maybe jumped into a middle of a series. I then checked out your authors page and found out how to read the series in order, so the rest is history. I’ve been hooked ever since and have read everything you’ve written. Though there are many authors I enjoy, you are the only one who, in my opinion, writes books that really stimulates my brain at a different level than any other author.
It was a total accident that I found you! I was searching for a trope and your books were at the top of the list. I listened to Rook and Ronin and never looked back. I’ve been hooked ever since. This happened just days after my dad passed away from COVID and I’ll never be able to express how grateful I am that you and your books helped get me through that very difficult time.
A friend of mine had one of your books sitting on her living room table – I picked it up, read the blurb, went home and found you on facebook and the rest is history!
How appropriate that it was Rook and Ronin that introduced me and caught my attention. That cover is just so eye catching that I had to stop and look. Then of coarse I has forever hooked, no turning back!
One of your books came to me through an e-news letter. Can’t remember which one though.
Honestly I have no flipping idea. Guess the important thing is that I am a fan as are many others 😉
I saw a Facebook post for 321, tried it, and was hooked
I found you in 2013 or early 2014. I received an advance copy of Bend. I loved the introduction to Company. I looked you up and found Rook and Ronin. I have purchased every book (e-book, paper, and audio) since. I love your stories and think about the characters and their stories a long time after I read the last page.
I came across the Turning Series first, and fell madly in love with your teisted take on romance. Then read In To Her and never looked back. 😉
It was the KC Cross Damaged Gods books that led me to you! And what a great ride it has been. I love your books.
I don’t remember for sure how I came across your books but I do know that I have found quite a few in the free book emails that I have received. I am so glad that I did find you.
I’m pretty sure it was through Facebook, but I’ve been a fan for a long time!
I really don’t remember. It was either from recommendations from Amazon, Bookbub, or Goodreads, or when I was on a search through Amazon for something new and amazing that I just MUST read.
I discovered your books via either Goodreads or Bookbub, but I don’t recall which.
Thanks for the giveaways!
Happy holidays to you and yours. =)
The first book I found by you was Jesse and it was free on audible. I’m limited mostly to audiobooks (medical reasons) and they get real expensive real fast so I take advantage of all the free ones I can. After listening to Jesse I was hooked and immediately devoured your entire library.
Audible – I was searching for new books to listen to. It was years ago, I started getting migraines when I read for extended periods of time so I started listening and building up my library and Voila !!!! Addicted!!!!!
I don’t remember how I found your books. Only that I was hooked from the very first one!
Through a recommendation on one of my Facebook book groups. Thanks for the chance. Happy holidays!!
my friend let me borrow one
My friends gave me your book.
Through a friend and I’m so glad she recommened your books
I believe it was scribd, I came across the original sin series. I loved it and looked into your other books after that.
Through a top romance author list a user posted on Goodreads!
Found your books on Facebook.
The first book of yours I read I found on Audible. It was 321. After listening to that book I went in search of more. Then I found the Rook and Ronin series and I was hooked!
It was a takeover years ago.
I believe it was on book bub or maybe a multiple author giveaway. Really glad I did find your books, love them!
I was introduced to TRAGIC – BOOK 1 in the Rook & Ronin series at a book club. One of the ladies selected this book to read and can I say I was hook ever since. I started looking at your website every day for an update on this series and can I say…I read every book in this series and all of the spinoff books as well.
An ad for one of your books popped up on Facebook, so I clicked it.
I was looking for books with free audio books and got hooked after the first one.
On Facebook in a a group.
I found out about your books through another author’s newsletter. I then signed up for your newsletter.
Word of mouth.
On a facebook group
I found you through a giveaway now hopefully soon I can get one of your books to start reading
My BFF!!!
Rook and Ronin was the first series I ever read from you.
I found you on Amazon Kindle unlimited. What a great day that was to find a wonderful Author.
I was scrolling Amazon & way back when the Dirty Ones popped up on my you might also like list. After reading that I’ve been one clicking your books ever since
Your book 321 was recommended to me by Amazon and the rest, as they say, is history!
I love this question. I found you and your books on audible so being the data and accuracy nerd the I am I went back through my order history and “The Boyfriend Experience” was the first book I listened to in 2020. I think I found it because of the narrators (Teddy and Joe). I was quickly hooked and now I have over 30 titles in my audible library. Funny, I’ve never read one of your books – only listened. Perhaps I’ll win one of these give aways and I will actually read a book. 😉 Love The Company/Rook+Ronin series, and actually I don’t think there is a book I didn’t like. Glad you “took up the pen”!
Sick Heart was recommended for me by Amazon and I couldn’t resist the storyline/characters! So happy I started reading your books!
In to Her was my first JA Huss it was a free listen on audible. From there I just went down the list!
My first JA Huss it was a free listen on audible. Have purchased most of them now.
In another author’s newsletter
From a friend on Facebook
I’m pretty sure it was through my sister
I listened to the Mister Series first. I was enthralled from the beginning and always try to read everything you write!
I think it was youtube where I stumbled onto you, it’s been close to ten years so I honestly don’t even know what book was first. Social Media, Junco, The turning series, 321 or Booty Hunter. I do know it wasn’t until I subscribed to audible that I realized you were one and the same.
I started with Rook & Ronin maybe a couple of years ago. I don’t remember how I found your books, but it was probably a recommendation from another author’s newsletter as that is how I discover a lot of authors.
My son was drowning in school so I decided to stop teaching and volunteer full time in his school to see if I could provide support in his classes. I also joined the PTA board so I was at his school daily. The PTA president walked through the school one day with about 6 copies of one of the books in the 50 Shades of Grey series. She was giving them to some of the teachers she was friends with and holding them close to her chest like they were some taboo cover no one could see. It was like an inside secret because I had no clue what the books were about. I’d never read a Harlequin romance novel or made it through a Hallmark movie without turning the channel. I was fan of literature, but I got hot and bothered by reading Gone with the Wind, Pride and Prejudice, Much Ado about Nothing, etc. When I went home and researched the book, I blew it off until I heard them discussing it on a talk show. I was intrigued to know what all the excitement was about. So, I borrowed the CDs from the library and listened to them. I critiqued the hell out of those books and then the movies. The red room was rarely used and there wasn’t enough dom/sub going on. I wanted to hear his side and her side at the same time. Her being upset about him spanking her after asking him to was ridiculous to me, but I liked the books. It was pandora’s box open and beckoning. So I climbed in and went searching for more – first through the library and then through Amazon’s Audible Romance Club which they got rid of. I believe it was bad business for authors, but I loved that version of Audible Romance though because it allowed you to keep much better track of what you’d read and it let you filter and search for very specific things. When I started doing that … I found this very twisted rabbit hole and it wasn’t Alice who greeted me. It was Huss. I became addicted and I also found writers and books that did a good job with BDSM/private sex clubs/mafia romance/kidnapping/virgin auctions …. it was like a buffet before me. The next year, I began my homeschooling adventure and I homeschooled my son from 2nd grade through 5th grade along with 3 to 7 other kids over that time. They would arrive at my house Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm and I would teach the curriculum to them with projects, experiments, intense chapter book reading and lots of hands on learning. On Fridays, we’d take field trips all over Virginia and D.C. Every afternoon, I’d put my earbuds in and listen to books while I worked in my garden and bred chickens. Then I went back to work teaching in public school and the books were my escape from the stress … one earbud in on the playground and both in during my planning period … blue tooth linked to my 40 minute drive in the car and I’m over 600 books in and still going. I haven’t listened to all of your books. I’ve bought a lot and gotten a few from membership to Audible and a couple free from your blog. I try to space them out – savor them like good chocolate because I need the dark twisted puzzles sprinkled in with the other styles I’m drawn to for my mental well-being. I’ve read a handful twice because I miss things and want to go back and let it all sink in. After I read Loving Dark Men, I wrote a review saying I need 3 more chapters and then I immediately decided to reread it (audio) again. When I finished, it all made sense and I had to go back and amend my review because I had a clear understanding after the 2nd listen.
a co-worker recommended your books to me
Honestly, I stumbled on you a few years back. I was looking up reviews on books and the Misters Series was the one that popped up and I HAD to read them. So glad I did. 😊 I love your writing style and I feel so connected to your characters. Your books have helped me through some really dark, depressing times. Thank you! ❤️
I honestly don’t remember for sure, but I think it was from another author’s post on FB or through her subscription box that I received a code for one of your e-books. I don’t do any other social media besides FB so it would have had to be there or a newsletter. I do read a lot of other author’s newsletters, so it could have been there. also All I know is that I am so glad that I found you and your books!
I was on Amazon looking for something good to read and I came across one of your books. I read the caption and then the reviews and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I was looking for an audiobook narrated by Tad Branson and found Into her. Been a fan ever since. Working my way through your library.

I found your book by searching for interesting adult books
I first found your books by picking up Rock in a little bookstore I found. The rest was history. I seemed to find one of your books whenever I went to try a new book. I started getting your newsletter and learned about the author behind the stories. Now I can’t wait until a new book comes out. For me to read. Thank you so much for your giveaways! They’re amazing! ❤️🎄📚
It was most likely through a recommendation that popped up while reading other books. It has been awhile since I read your first book, so can’t really remember how I found you, I am just happy I did! 😊
I honestly don’t remember how I found your books
I had just started Audible and I somehow came across Sin with Me. After taking in love with that I started looking for books by you.

I think I first discovered Rook and Ronin whilst searching either Amazon Australia. It was the first series I read of yours, and I fell for Ronin and Ford. Spencer was a it of a spunk, too 😍
Hi Julie
My first taste was the Original Sin series that I found on Audible. I still have fond memories of Tyler Morgan and often go back for a re-read
My first book was 321 and probably an Amazon recommendation. After that I went back to the beginning and started with Rook and Ronin and fell in love with your writing. I’d love to have this monster of a book on my bookshelf.
I found you/your books after reading The Bend Anthology!! It has been a great reading ride ever since.

I stumbled upon your books in the suggested for me to read on my Kindle. Browsed through the other books you had out and determined I needed a reading order. Found your blog (with the much needed reading order list) and started with Rook and Ronin. I binged all the books. Am still binging. At some point in my reading I discovered Shrike Bikes and have been a long time lurker who occasionally will post here and there.

I found your Anarchy series by accident and couldn’t believe how good they were, loved the idea of a supervillain romance and how well it was written
I was on my Kindle and was looking at books or how to get unlimited to work. I clicked on what I liked in stories and the first book that came up was Rook and Rowin and I was hooked.
A Facebook post
I bought the Rook and Ronin boxset years ago, and have been a fan ever since.
I picked up Total Exposure randomly and like everyone else, became addicted. Your EOBS’s are awesome, and really helped me figure out where I wanted to go next with your books. I absolutely love that you do those!
Well that is a funny story. I was feeling stabby. So I was looking for something dark. And Rook and Roin somehow popped up. And I have been reading you for about 3 or 4 years now!
Ps STILL ONE OF MY FAVORITES!
I honestly cannot remember, but it had to be a cold winter day!
I received my first book of yours as a free book and put your name on KY list of people to check out and then just kept going. Thank you. 😊
Through a ‘follow authors’ contest.
It has been so long ago but I believe I found you through facebook and you were attending a book signing in Chicago 2016 . 3,2,1, was my first book of yours that I read.
I actually think it was a paid add or at least a promo on a Facebook group for the Mister series.
I saw you on Facebook for years but it was Author’s Direct where I listened to your books.
Feel organised and write a book and publish it
I think I just searched through my audible plus catalog, romance section, and there you were 🙂

Wow! Found it by accident and have been a fan since. Love the stories and the narrators. You are the best!!
Just looking for new audiobook series to get into, not sure how I found you but the Sin With Me books were the first. Then I found Rook and Ronin and knocked them all out as fast as possible. Have re-listened to all once all the way through. I love you!
I found your books via a contest several years ago I believe through a book blog.
Through Goodreads recommendations
I can’t even remember which of your books I read first, but I think I found you on a recommendation from another author…who that could be, is lost in my memory bank! Forever grateful I found you and your stories!
Found your book 18 through a book blogger on Facebook, read and loved it, which lead to following you and joining your fan group!
I pretty sure it was on Facebook that I found out about your books !
It’s been so long, I’m not sure I remember how I first found JA Huss’s books, but I do know the Rook & Ronin books were my first. After that, I was irrevocably hooked. I probably saw a book rec on some facebook group.
I was eyeballs deep in finishing my Literature and Philosophy degree, and I was about to lose my mind reading Aristotle and the Literary Cannon (my brain was turning to mush reading the Literary Cannon and anything written by old dead white guys, especially, English romantics). Up to this point, I hadn’t really utilized my Kindle because there is a lot of required reading for these degrees. I needed some spice. You came up on suggested reading somehow and my world changed. To this day, Ford is still in my top five book boyfriends.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
Recommendations from other readers and reviews are what helped me find you. This is how I’ve found all my favorite authors.
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Holidays!
The Scarf Princess
I have to be honest, and you might hate me for this. But I stumbled upon Ford on YouTube. I had no idea what it was or what I was listening too. But I continued to listen. The book and narration was so good, so I Googled it. That’s how I found you. You are actually the reason that I have an Audible account. That was about 5 Years ago. Now, I have almost every one of your audiobooks.
I found you through Instagram!
I first found you on Facebook.
Scrolling through audiobooks searching for a new listen.
Somehow on audible. I started with historical fiction and sci fi., then fantasy and psychological thrillers. At some point romance was brought in, and after trying a couple of those I was introduced (by audible) to you. I have since bought every audible book you have, and can’t wait for the next in any series. Thank you.
I think I found your books through a blog review.
I first found J. H. Croix books (randomly on Kindle) and then while subscribing to her newsletter and following her on FB I discovered your books.
I think it was a blog hop give-away.
The first book I read of yours was Taking Turns (The Turning Series Book 1) . I might have gotten it in a book promo. Anyway, I devoured the rest of that series and was hooked. 😊
On Facebook
Thanks for the chance!
So, I signed up for Audible a few years back. Eighteen (18) was one of the first audiobooks I ever listened to. I believe it was in the Audible Plus Catalog and I just happened to stumble across it. I remember thinking, “Hmm… This book looks interesting. I’ll give it a try.” Well, it was more than just interesting… I was absolutely blown away by it!! Eighteen had me hooked from the very start and I couldn’t stop listening to it.
I was listening to Troy Duran on social media and he commented on what an extraordinary author you are I decided to check you out. Oh boy, I was pleasantly surprised. You hook me from the first paragraph.
On Amazon, I was searching certain tropes and your books popped up.
My aunt introduced me to your books and I love them!!
I honestly cannot remember. Possibly a giveaway?
It’s been so long but I believe that I got a free book on bookfunnel and started receiving your NL. That was all it took!🙂
I think in Facebook, this was the first series I read / listened to from you, I have read and listened to a lot more since then ❤️
I believe in an anthology book.
I first found you on Audible. You are a genius!
I actually started with MMITD. I was into dark romance genre at the time and was on a lookout for dark love stories with twisted characters. Merc’s story was on the list, so I gave it a read. After I finished Meet me in the Dark, I went and got all the other books by JA Huss, after I read everything that was released at that time, I became a huge fan forever. Then years later I re visited all my favorite stories via audio.
A free boxset of the Mr.
When I first had to quit working because of my bad back, I decided to keep my brain active by reading. So one the search I went and found a blog that introduced me to Indie Authors. And yours was one of the first books I read.
Thanks for the chance.
Hi Julie, I think someone mentioned you on Goodreads so I decided to check out your books. I started with Rook and Ronin then I really got hooked when I read Three, Two, One.
I first found your books on the internet, but I’m not sure what website it was. I also sometimes come to this blog and read about them and other book blogs. I go to various book sites, so it’s hard to remember.
I can’t remember exactly but I think it was an ad or discount on audible. The first books were the Misters then I figured out that I started in the middle of the Company books and started at the beginning. I listened to all your books on Audible. I love them ALL! Funny, sci-fi, dark and twisty… I’m there! Lol
About 10 years ago, a friend told me about TRAGIC, and the rest is history!!!
Thank you so so so so so much for the years and years of enjoyment you have given me through your books!! And thank you for the chance to win!
