Welcome to my annual 12 DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS! 

If you’re new to this – here’s how it works:

1.   Each day from December 1 through December 12 I will put up a new giveaway HERE on my website with instructions on how to enter, a detailed description of the prize, and some stuff about the book or series. Each giveaway is different and each has ONE WINNER. MY GIVEAWAYS ARE ALWAYS OPEN INTERNATIONAL 

2.   Each giveaway runs UNTIL DECEMBER 13.

3.   Winners are CHOSEN and NOTIFIED on December 14. I will be notifying winners USING THE EMAIL USED TO COMMENT ON THIS BLOG – and all winners will BE LISTED AT THE TOP OF EACH GIVEAWAY POST HERE ON MY WEBSITE on December 14.

4.   Winners have 24 hours to respond, then another winner will be chosen.

5.   ALL PRIZES WILL BE MAILED ON DECEMBER 15.  If I’m waiting on a winner to respond and they miss the December 15 mail date, that prize will be mailed when I get around to it. I live in the middle of nowhere so a trip to the post office is a “thing” for me. 🙂 So make sure you’re checking for winners on the 14th.

6.   I will send newsletters announcing giveaways on December 1, December 6, December 12, and a Winner newsletter on December 14. I NEVER send this many newsletters in a month so sorry if that feels spammy.

I asked this question last year too but I like it so much I’m gonna ask it again. I love seeing where everyone comes from!

I LIVE IN CENTRAL COLORADO, JUST EAST OF COLORADO SPRINGS. I have a 36 acre ranch with two horses, two donkeys, three dogs, nine goats, and 16 chickens. If you can’t tell, I love animals and I love living in the country. It’s a LOT of work – I spend about 3-4 hours a day outside just getting things done with the animals, but even though I complain regularly, I’m always happy, satisfied, and grateful for thsi life every time I come inside.

I left the very cold northeast and love that I no longer have snow to shovel, cars to warm up or windshields to scrape. I love reading as well as listening to my favorite authors, sometimes with three or four books going at any given time.

    1. I live in South-East Missouri, in the bootheel. Smack-dab in the middle of nowhere. Your either poor scrapping by or your very well to do. There are a lot of millionaires here, I’m not one of them. I live in town but, I was raised in the country with farm land all around. Dad said that we were to wild to live in town. When we did move to town it had a population of 220, I think they were counting the 11 cats and 15 dogs and maybe even the coyotes in what we townsfolk called “Coyote city.” I eventually moved to a bigger town, then to Florida for 5 years. I moved back here in 1990 and been stuck here ever since.

  212. I live in central Illinois in the United States of America. I live on the east side of the state with my husband and my little dachshund. I’m retired and I am incredibly lucky that both of my parents are still with me so I visit with them each month for at least a week (sometimes 2 or 3). I consider both places to be my home where I live with my family. Sometimes talking about home can get confusing because I’ll say something like, “I’ll be leaving home to go back home” and I’ll have to remember which home I’m referring to. Neither house is big, but both are filled with love.

Before OKC I lived on a small farm in Oregon where we had goats, llamas, chickens, ducks, peacocks, pheasants, geese and more. I totally relate to the hours farm life takes in addition to a regular gig. Now it is just dogs and cats and the ability to have food delivered to my doorstep when I don’t feel like cooking lol.

It’s not bad living here…we’re close enough to Chicago that we can drive or take a quick train ride and we’re not to far from Indianapolis to take a weekend trip. There’s beautiful Lake Michigan scenery worth seeing but the winters weather can be brutal

It is the gas station, grocery store, post office, feed & fertilizer, etc. My apartment upstairs is huge and I share it with my 3 freeloading cats.

  272. Thanks for the chance!! Southwestern WI! Small, boring, drama filled, everyone knows everyone, town that is right between Madison and LaCrosse. Do not recommend coming to visit as there is literally NOTHING here anymore. Once my youngest graduates in the next 4 years the hubby and I are wanting to move somewhere warmer all year round! So if anyone has any suggestions on cities (not to big and not to small) I am definitely open to the suggestions!

  356. So born and raised in Duluth MN, I have slowly made my way more south. First by making a stop and living in the Lake Elmo/Woodbury area of MN to get away from my narcissistic ex, and most recently this past June moved to Sioux Falls SD. I do plan on my one day making a full move to somewhere in SC or NC that is t affected completely by hurricanes, and rarely see’s temps below 30 degrees Fahrenheit; I can handle cold to a degree; but the snow; as beautiful as it is; I am over it. I can be satisfied with pics from family and internet. I love the beach and it is calling for me to live closer to it, and not so much by lakes anymore. I have 2 amazing boys. One is 18, and the youngest is going to be 15 by the end of January, so after he graduates, south bound I go!!!!

I live in New Jersey not far from the Shore as we like to call it. 🤣 I have 3 dogs, a white Siberian husky named Apollo who is 2 years old and the King of the Castle, my pretty girl Dublin is 1 1/2 years old, she is a husky/malamute mix, with one blue eye and one brown eye, she is my shadow and a true Mama’s girl, then we have the fresh Lil’ Lady, Biscuit, who is a 6 month old Terrier/Aussie mix, she is a little Vampire, trouble maker and is lucky she is so cute, even when she is covered in mud. I love the 3 of them more than my 3 kids most of the time 🤣 It is alright, my 24, 22, & 18 year old know this and completely understand. 🎄

  458. I live in South Wales, UK. I’m part of the South Wales Valleys and live around 30 minutes from our capital city, Cardiff. I’m also about 30 minutes, in the opposite direction from the highest mountain in South Wales Pen Y Fan on the Brecon Beacons mountain range, it’s the best of both worlds golf being close to a city and close to the mountains and countryside. Although I am Welsh, I am only now learning to speak Welsh, and it’s very hard going, but such a beautiful language. Diolch (Thanks in Welsh)

Mom’s parents lived in Indianapolis and Dad’s parents lived in Orlando, so we often drove through Tennessee and I fantasized about living here because it’s so beautiful. I managed to meet a man when I was working in Miami and turned out he was a Tennessee boy! We finally settled in Chattanooga and I really love it!

  478. I live in an area that is known around the world as “God’s Country”, and it has nothing to due with religion. I am just outside of Vancouver, BC, Canada. In the same day you can ski an Olympic slope, climb “the grind”, and swim in the ocean or cast your line for fresh salmon, sturgeon or more. Or if you are like me and a car girl, then take a cruise on some of the best back mountain roads you can find!
    It is a wonderful place to live but also ranks in the top 5 most expensive cities in the world and also ranks as one of the most unaffordable cities in the world…..

As amassage therapist, who talks way to much, I started listening to audio books to keep my chatter to a minimum during a session. Everyday someone asks what I’m listening to and regardless of the book at the time, my answer is “my favorite author is JA Huss and/KC Cross”. Then I spend the next hour talking about all my favorite books and that has gotten several people to read them, which great because I now have others to discuss your work with.   533. I have sold my house in the suburbs and bought a 3 bedroom ranch style home on 4 acres of land in Swansea, South Carolina. I will be completely moved in on December 10th when the movers come. It is about 2 hours away from where I am leaving. I know nothing about this town. I was sold on the land and the quiet. I plan on getting a couple of baby goats.

I love driving the backroads instead of the highway, I love listening to the wildlife, insects, toads, and more, on warm spring and summer nights. I love that my home has plenty of room in between houses and I don’t feel like my neighbors are living on top of one another. I love that our community is supportive of one another and that we all watch out for each other. No, I don’t like all of my neighbors, but I do love more than a few of them and we have become a family. I’m 48yrs old, married for almost 28yrs, and we’ve lived in multiple different homes, but none of them have felt as much like home, as this home does.   969. Born and raised in the same house in Wayne NJ. But moved with my parents to Clearwater Florida when weather made life difficult for my Mom to get treatments in the winter months in Jersey. So got a place in Clearwater Florida and I was delegated to move down and help them out. One of my sisters and Family moved into “The House” in Jersey. After Mom passed Dad (98) spends his time between both the houses. Wintering in Florida.
    So I now have my home in Florida that My Dad comes to in the colder months and I have retired in down here in Clearwater Florida, where my Grandchildren come and visit every couple of months and everyone else come to visit when they need some fun in the sun relaxation.

    My favourite thing to do is read or listen to audible. I even some times read as I’m listening to audible. My family think this is very strange.

  1132. I live in a small town located in North Carolina! I have lived in this town my whole life. Everyone is so nice and when you walk into places most people know your name or say hey darling! My kids go to school up the street and my husband business is just across the railroad tracks from mine. So it’s definitely convenient for school/work and our home to be so close, we get to spend a little more time together after a long day since we have no commute. We also have some famous bbq in our town so definitely some good eating going on 🙂

  1307. I live in Lacey’s Spring in North Alabama on a 9 acre mini-farm in a beautifully peaceful cove surrounded by “mountains” of the Appalachian Foothills. We have 5 acres of cleared pasture and a 3 stall horse barn, but currently no domesticated or farm animals except one dog. The remaining 4 acres are a wilderness up the sloping side of a mountain and lots of wild animals. Deer, groundhogs, turkeys, SKUNKS, coyotes, screech owls and a dark predator feline we call mountain lions – one was in the rafters of our horse barn one night! We are making plans for securely bringing in more chickens, ducks, goats and donkeys in the next few years.

  1350. I’m originally from Tennessee but have lived in Maryland for the past 51 years. I live in Damascus. The part of Damascus we live in is the highest point in Montgomery County. We get snow when no one else does, and when a nor’eastern storm comes our way, we can get a lot of snow, 30 to 40 inches. Ok not like some states but it is a lot for our State. Washington DC is about 45 minutes from where we live, but downtown DC is more like 1.5 hours away. We have a total of 3 traffic lights. One can drive into and out of downtown Damascus in less than a minute if you hit the lights right. It is a nice city to live in.

The greenheads are your best mode of transportation in summer, don’t breathe too hard in the early fall, that cabbage is nasty. I LIVE in upstate New York, to where the trees are green and the grass is lush. The snow falls at all the wrong times. I miss my home, it is where I am alive.

    But here where I reside, I have two amazing “step” kids, they are mine through and through. A husband who works to keep me alive. 2 bearded dragons, 2 chinchillas, 4 chickens, 4 ducks, a cat and a dog. (Yes, I have a zoo)
