JA Huss
Welcome to the last video in The Perfect Story Series. This time I’m gonna go through a few literary devices I use often and talk a little about editing and blurb writing. I decided to put the last two topics into one video because I really didn’t have a lot to say about editing and blurbs. 🙂

I hope you had a great 2017 and both The Perfect Year and The Perfect Story helped you (at least a little bit!) I have more author tips coming for you in December! This new series is called TOP 5 TIPS for authors and there will be one new “Top Five” posted EVERY DAY IN DECEMBER. I also got a few of my author friends to help me out (in case you’re tired of hearing just from me!) so look for that on December first.
As always, if you don’t want to remember to check back every day to get your tips, you can always follow my blog using the form below and I’ll send the post right to your email. And if you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment and I’ll answer your question as soon as I see it.
If you’re just coming in on this series and haven’t yet seen the previous videos they are linked below.

Thanks for all the great writing tips, JA. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you Elly! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving too! 🙂
You rock! Best Thanksgiving gift ever!
Thank you so much Julie. You are awesome!
I’ve loved both your courses and have got so much out of them.
Plus it’s been just like hanging out with you 🙂
So much great info, I would have paid whatever you asked. I’d already bought all your books so I decided to support you by buying your audio books too. (I’d never done audio).
Best decision ever! I’m working my way through, just finished The Company. Love, love, love.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
And I’m nearly finished writing my second book which might be half decent thanks to your awesome videos! (The first one is hidden in the bottom drawer…)
Thank you for being you.
I was sooo happy to see this video. I thought with all you had going on, you might not be able to come back to this. So thank you. I agree, there are a lot of authors charging for courses and it’s refreshing to have a person with your talents take the time to help us poor, aspiring writers. I hope you have a happy first Thanksgiving in your new home.
Thank you so much for this course. I’ve loved each and every one. Looking forward to your year’s recap. Happy Holidays!
Thank you for this series. I have shared it with some of our NaNoLosAngeles writers!!
