Marketing Mondays: Custom Book Covers for Self-publishers

This week I’m going to do something a little different and fun. I have used digital illustrators for all my covers that are out so far. Four of them were with James Ledger Concepts and the first book was with Alex Tooth, who created the Junco character from scratch. Book Launch Prep

This week’s productivity check is going to be a little different.  You see, all three books are now off to my awesome editor, RJ Locksley for the final read-through.  And I’m not quite sure what to do with myself tonight!  Tomorrow and Sunday I will write like mad to make some progress on the fourth book (called RANGE).  I’ve neglected it for two weeks now and it needs some serious attention.  That Junco is doing all kinds of crazy things […]

If you’ve never self-published a book then you probably won’t be interested in this blog post, but just in case you’re thinking about doing what I’m doing (publishing three books at the same time!) I’m gonna give you the skinny on what it’s like. Self-publishing is not the “easy way out” that some might think it is. Sure, you can slap together a PDF of just about anything and upload it to Amazon and take your chances. But that’s not […]
