TRIP PICS AND GIVEAWAY WINNERS!
First, the winners. I had a bunch of giveaway going while I was traveling. Johnathan and I had THREE cover reveals, plus I dropped a surprise box set of all the Mister books so I ran a giveaway to promote that, AND Tragic went free on Amazon with the new covers and EOBS included. (Hey, if you have the old version and want to read the new End of Book Shit, just go into your digital orders and you should see an “update available” button. Click that and Amazon should send it to you.)
SO THE WINNERS ARE:
Angels Cover Reveal – $25
Flesh Cover Reveal – $25
(Two winners because I fucked something up! lol)
Miracle Irby Wininger
Passion Cover Reveal – $25
Mister Box Set – All Signed Books
Rook & Ronin New Covers – Signed R&R Set
All of you should have an email waiting in your inbox for what to do next.
If you didn’t see the cover reveals, or didn’t get a chance to download The Misters and Tragic, here’s all the links for that stuff.
NOW ON TO THE TRIPS!
I went to LA to visit my writing partner, Johnathan McClain. I’m sure most, if not all of you, have already heard about this new collaboration we’re doing. So far we’ve written four books in a series we’re calling Original Sin. it’s set in Vegas, so of course we had a trip to Vegas, but that was so last year! lol. Actually, we had two trips to Vegas, the first one was in November just to get a better feel for the place and have an excuse to have afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental. The second one was for New year’s weekend. Johnathan and his wife took me to see Maroon 5 and we had a pizza party with James Valentine and his amazing family afterward.
But this trip to LA was the first time I’d been to HIS house. He came to my house last October and met my donkeys and my dogs, so it was only fair that I go see him. He met a few of my close friends during that first trip to Vegas (Terry Schott, Honoree Corder, and Nicole and Tim Alexander) so I got to meet a few of his close friends too Graham Moore and Zoe Perry. We also had a professional photoshoot to get some author pictures with Bobby Quillard. I’ve attached a candid shot of Johnathan in the gallery below. So… yeah. Vegas and LA were amazing.
Two weeks later I was on a plane to London for the RARE London’s Calling Author Signing. I’ve been to London a few times already, so I didn’t do much sigh-seeing. My editor, RJ Locksley, joined me for some of the trip and we did manage to walk over to the palace and check out the Royal Mews. That’s the carriages and horses you see the royal people bouncing around in during special events. Then I went to the signing and did my thing and had a lot of fun, and the next day we met Lexxie Lin (blogger at (un)Conventional Book Reviews) and her charming daughter, for afternoon tea at the Conrad Hotel.
So there you go. Sometimes my life is kinda exciting. I’ll be in Boston in April for the Talk Books Author Event. If you’re in the area, come by and see me! But the next few weeks my life is decidedly unexciting as it’s NOTHING BUT WORK, WORK, WORK!
We’ve got books releasing every three weeks starting this TUESDAY! Audiobooks, eBooks, and paperbacks. I got the audio files early last night, you guys. I listened until I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Fucking Johnathan (who narrates under the name Tad Branson) and Ava Erickson KILLED IT! So if you haven’t picked up your copy of Sin With Me yet, check out the Goodreads reviews here and then click over to your favorite store and grab it using the links above!
